Lion turtles

It had been futile, I wasn't athletic, wasn't smart, and often oblivious. I didn't even see the free tire bounce towards me. A car accident had occurred and i would be the only death. The tire had enough force to break my neck. I was too busy reading the Avatar The Last Airbender comics. I had recently rewatched the wanting to refill my nostalgia before reading the comics that way i can enjoy the complete story. I did this with many tv shows, movies, and video games. I had preferred video games since i could interact with the story itself. At the time of my death i wished i could do the same with avatar.

i woke on a tiny island surrounded by ocean Four large beasts stared at me, they reminded me of lion turtles from avatar. Until I realized they were.

The fire lion bending turtle spoke, "Every story is based in some truth, as each bleeds into belief forming the bases of dreams and imagination. The story you know is different from our own. We brought you here through the same method our story came to you."

I wanted to assume the place we were but the floating lion turtle dispelled my wonder. "This is not the spirit world it is a manifestation between worlds, live long enough and anything can reach here."

The next spoke i presumed this one was Earth it had much more vibrant then the others. "Each of us will give you a boon and you can do what you will with it as long as you complete our mission. You must provide guidance and energy bending to the current avatar, as well as reconnect Vaatu and Raava."

The Last spoke before i could ask anything, "For you these two missions are two required events for the two key battles of Avatar Aang and Avatar Korra. The first boon is eternal life and the ability to bestow it onto others, This is the blessing of water."

The vibrant one spoke once more, "The blessing of earth is a grounding so you can understand and master the elements more freely. How it manifests is based on your own perception."

With how things turned out i awaited the floating turtle to speak. "The blessing of air is the freedom from the natural balance this is to protect you from the world laws. It is similar to the Avatars connection to Vaatu the spirit of order."

I was confused by what the floating one had said, wasn't Vaatu the spirit of chaos. Though i was told there was differences was this one of them? The Fire Turtle spoke once more and interrupted my thoughts.

"The blessing of fire will simply be energy bending, but i will also help in your reincarnation into our world. The changes that occurred during bleeding will also be provided to you so you can smoothly blend in. Lastly is only a question, which nation would you like to be born into, this will determine the first bending you can learn."
