Meeting with the Deity-(II)

My frustration and anger gave way to bewilderment as the deity's words sank in. I looked at them, incredulous. "So, what will you do with me now? I've already died at the hands of Asparus," I asked, struggling to make sense of the situation.

The deity regarded me with a peculiar, almost eerie smile, their expression one of knowing amusement. "Oh, nothing much, Alex. You'll be resurrected in that same place within ten minutes," they replied nonchalantly.

My jaw dropped in sheer shock. "What? But the cycle of life and death... it's supposed to be about reincarnation, a new body in a new world!" I stammered, my understanding of the afterlife shattered.

The deity's smile widened, and their response sent chills down my spine. "Who told you that, Alex?" they asked, their voice taking on an unsettling tone. "I decide what happens here, not some old concept."

I was at a loss for words. The very foundation of my beliefs about life and death had been shattered.

This deity had power beyond my comprehension, and I was left to grapple with the implications of their words.

The shocking revelation left me in a state of profound uncertainty and disbelief, wondering what other secrets this realm held and what my fate truly entailed.

Tears welled up in my eyes, and I could no longer contain my emotions. "Why? Just why are you doing this?" I cried out, my voice quivering with despair. "I didn't mess with you, nor did I do anything to make you unhappy. Why are you resurrecting me in the same place, the same world? Please, I beg you, do not bring me back there, please!"

The deity's eyes softened, their expression a curious blend of compassion and determination. "Alex," they said, their voice gentle yet unwavering, "there is someone who asked me to do this."

I was taken aback. "Someone? Who could possibly want this for me?" I asked, my desperation evident in my words.

The deity's smile returned, though it bore a touch of sympathy. "It's a person who truly loves you, who cares for you deeply, and is waiting for you."

My heart skipped a beat as I absorbed the deity's words. The revelation left me both bewildered and touched. "Someone who loves me... in that world?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

The deity nodded, confirming my question. "Yes, Alex. This person's love for you is so profound that they couldn't bear to see you gone. They wished for you to return to them."

My mind raced as I considered the possibilities. Who could this person be? I don't remember having shared any type of bond with someone in that novel's world? So, who could this be? The deity's enigmatic smile hinted at answers just beyond my grasp.

With a heavy sigh, I wiped away my tears and composed myself. "Alright," I said, a mixture of determination and curiosity in my voice. "If there's someone waiting for me, someone who cares about me, then I'll go back. But please, tell me more about them. Who is this person?"

The deity's smile remained enigmatic. "You'll learn more in time, Alex. For now, your journey continues, and you will find your way back to that world. Remember, the realm between realms is a place of reflection and renewal. It's a place to find answers and seek closure. The mysteries of existence are not always revealed at once."

With a final nod, I braced myself for the impending return, my heart filled with a strange mixture of apprehension, hope, and a burning desire to discover who this person was and why they had brought me back to the world I had left behind.

As I braced myself for the impending return, the deity's words weighed heavily on my mind. "Alex," they said, their voice filled with a pearl of otherworldly wisdom, "in just a few seconds, you will be resurrected. Is there anything you wish to ask before you return?"

I took a deep breath, my thoughts racing. The most pressing question on my mind concerned the formidable adversary, Asparus. I couldn't ignore the threat he posed. "How should I defeat Asparus?" I asked, my voice filled with a mix of apprehension and determination. "He is too strong for me to defeat on my own."

The deity's response was measured, and their eyes held a profound understanding. "Asparus is indeed a formidable foe, Alex. To defeat him, you must first seek the source of your strength, not in power or weapons, but within yourself. Your journey has only just begun, and you will discover your inner strength as you continue. Remember, there is more to you than you currently know."

"At this moment, I recommend relying on your intellect rather than your physical power." (God)

As I pondered the deity's words about seeking the source of my strength within, a strange sensation washed over me.

A gentle, white mist began to swirl around me, enveloping my form.

I reached out, trying to grasp the meaning of the deity's guidance, but before I could ask for further clarification, the mist thickened, obscuring my vision.

"Alex, always remember she is.... "

The deity's voice echoed in the background, saying something that I couldn't quite hear as if their words were carried away by the swirling mist.

I strained to listen, but the mist seemed to have a mind of its own, swirling and curling around me, almost like a living entity.

My surroundings became hazy, and a drowsiness overcame me. Before I could make sense of the situation or the deity's final message, I fell unconscious, the mist cocooning me in a shroud of tranquillity.

Unbeknownst to me, as I lay unconscious, the white mist continued its enigmatic work.

It worked its otherworldly magic, and I was slowly, imperceptibly transported back to my old body in the world I had left behind.

The transition was seamless, as if time and space had conspired to make it all but a dream.

And so, I returned to the world I had departed, unaware of the journey that had transpired in the realm between realms.

The mysteries of existence remained hidden, and I found myself awakening in my old body, with a vague sense that something extraordinary had just occurred, yet unable to grasp the full extent of it.
