Looking for clues

There I was, sitting on a log in the middle of the woods, after having what I presume to be a hallucination of Grin Scurvy I needed some time to think, sudden Atom appeared, "Oliver?" He sounded concerned for me, "Whats wrong, you don't ever seem depressed." He said to me, "Grin's still alive isn't he?" I questioned Atom hoping to get a answer, "I presume so, he might've gotten away after you got sent to the hospital, I would think a couple of his men took him back to where they stay at." Atom theorized, I got up and began walking back to Pete's gun range, "Let go talk to Lily, our work isn't done yet." I said while walking down the trail.

I emerged out of the wood, I looked to see Lily was laying down on the grass just looking at the clouds, "You know you're next to an ant hill right?" I said while looking down at Lily, "ahh that's what's been biting me this whole time?!" She exclaimed as she got back up, "Lily, Grin Scurvy might be alive still." I stated to her, "No way, you punched him so hard he crashed through two sets of wall, there's way he could survive that." She said denying my theory, "Well with a burned face like that I'd think he could survive anything." Atom stated, "If he's alive he could've just done another attack like before... right?" She began to question things, "He's probably planning something right now and whatever he's planning we have to stop before more people get hurt or worse." I said hoping Lily would understand what I was saying, "So what are we gonna do?" She asked, "We do what we always do best, look for clues on Grin Scurvy, find him and hopefully take him down for good this time." I said to Lily with a smirk on my face, suddenly we were interrupted by Pete, "Hey kids it's getting late, why don't y'all stay the night at my house we got stew ready." Pete asked us, "Yeah we might as well stay here uncle, thank you." Lily said to Pete, "Sweet also heads up but y'all might wanna run away from that thing just I am." Pete stated while pointing at a casually floating Atom, "huh what happened?" He said not paying attention, as we turned our heads back to Pete we could see that he already ran, "we should follow him." I stated as I began walking to Pete's house.

The four of us were just sitting there eating stew, "So what exactly is that thing?" Pete questioned while examining Atom, "Oh well I am Atom the Exiled, I am what my kind call a Shadownite but in my current form I'm labeled as a Shadow Spirit, I come from a realm that's-" He began telling his whole backstory before I interrupted him, "He's Atom, he comes from a different place and he's mutually connected to me that's all you need to know." I explained to Pete, "oh... that doesn't really explain a lot but I won't question it anymore as long as he's friendly." Pete said, Atom was also rambling on about not being able to tell his backstory to me but I managed to tone that out while eating.

I was in the bathroom, I needed to check my wound and as I thought it was all healed up, I took off the bandages and made sure to throw them away, I went downstairs where Atom and Lily were waiting for me at the dining room table, "So what's the plan Ollie?" Lily said with the worst greaser voice ever, "First of all don't ever call me Ollie again, second of all I have an idea." I announced to the team, "When we get back to hamburgs we're gonna split up into two teams of two, I'll be with Requiem and you two will be together like usual, go out and find any possible lead on Grin Scurvy and if you hear anything about what he's planning then get back to homebase which is literally Lily's house.", "Oh I have question slash request!!" Lily cried out while raising her hand, "Yes Lily?" I questioned, "Can we change the team arrangements to Oliver and Lily as team 1 and Requiem and Atom as team 2?" She enthusiastically requested, "Huh I don't know lets ask what Requiem's range is." I sarcastically said, "Hey Requiem how far away can you go from me?" I asked him, "Three meters from you're body sir." Requiem stated as he appeared, "Sorry Lily but request denied." I said to Lily, "Awww." She said in disappointment, "Anymore questions cause we start our search as soon as we get back to Hamburgs and won't stop until we find our guy." I asked everyone in the room but it stayed silent, "Alright then remember your groups and go out there but for today we sleep the night away." I said dismissing everyone, where ever Grin is hiding he better be cowering cause when I find him he's gonna feel my wrath.
