33 Chapter 33

Harvey breathes heavily, pain filling his entire frame. He groans and looks up at the SGA soldier that smiles down at him.

Harvey spits on the ground and smiles back. "You'll all be dead soon, I'm not sure why you're smiling."

"Because, even though that propaganda is turning practically the entire nation against us, We'll take down as many as we can. Soon your friends are going to die too. We've made sure of it." May says walking in,

He glares at her, she smirks. "If i really am headed to the underworld, like you all believe so desperately. I'll be sure to take some of you with me."

Harvey forces another smile. "As long as we are free and you're dead."

Her smile flickers, but remains. "I wish i had their deaths broadcasted. Id love for you to see their faces when you kill them."

His heart drops, his expression makes her smile grow. "Oh don't worry, its not actually you. But of course, they don't know that. I can't wait for the details. Do what you want, but i want him to at least be able to sustain consciousness."

She turns and walks out of the room, shutting the door behind her. The soldier raises his bat and swings.

He jolts upright, Turner jolts and smiles. "Sorry, we didnt mean to wake you. How you feeling?"

Harvey sighs hard. "Um..."

"Sounds about right." Tinker says,

He takes a deep breath, "Sorry. How are you guys?"

"We're okay." Atlas chuckles,

Harvey smiles and closes his eyes. "I really missed you guys." He sighs,

The three smile and hug him awkwardly. He smiles and hugs back. "So."

They let go and look at him, "What's happened? Where are we?"

"We are in The City. Two thirds of the people have turned against the SGA now." Atlas says,

Harvey smiles, "Good. Its about freaking time! Man we're so close!" He says,

They smile and talk for an hour, catching him up on The Syndicate moving into the city and Tips and everything they can cram in.

"Figures you'd almost get caught Atlas."

He shrugs, "Like you could do better."

Harvey grins, "Come at me!"

Harvey looks down at himself and then back at Atlas, "Once I'm out of here."

They chuckle. Toni smiles at him through the one way window. "I'm glad he's okay."

"Me too." Neo says,

Ashe's smile fades, "I hate the SGA."

"We'll make them pay Ashe."

She looks at Toni and forces a smile. "He acts fine, but, look at those bruises. What did they do to you?" Ashe asks softly,

"So what's our next move?" Selina asks,

"We work with the people, the SGA is strong. They can hold their own. We need to overpower them. One of these three could be their HQ."

Selina frowns, "I thought we found it already?" She says looking up at him,

"We did, they moved. We arent sure where."

"So what do we do? Just slowly take the nation?"

Thomas shakes his head, "I'm sure its one of these places, the only problem is. We aren't sure which and they are all guarded well. But hidden."

"Hmm, should we do recon?"

"I'm not sure we could get close enough, We'll just have to take them."

Selina sighs, "Course we do. Okay, which do we take first?"

"Well first, there are several militias that have formed, they are forming together, we need to meet with the leader or leaders and get on the same level."

Selina nods, "Okay. So when and where do we meet them?"

"Tomorrow at 0500 hours. We'll meet them in St. George square."

"Alright. Anything else?"

"No, thats it, tell Harvey hi for me."

She salutes him as she walks out of the room. She makes her way to her room and fall back onto her bed.

"What's up?"

She looks at Toni, "I'm tired."

Toni smirks, "Well now that the fearsome foursome are back together, they got permission to relax today. Want to check out Ashe's mirror realm?"

Selina looks at Toni with wide eyes. "Yeah! Definitely! She's...not keeping us in there right?"

Toni rolls her eyes, "Come on."

They hurry out of the room and to Ashe's room. Toni knocks on the door, Selina gives her a look and opens the door as Ashe tells them to come in.

"No please Selina, come on in."

"Can we see the mirror realm with you?" Toni giggles,

Ashe smiles, "I thought you'd never assssk!" She sings throwing her arms up,

She jumps to her feet and joins Toni's side. "The mirror realm isn't just my power. I'm the one who controls it, so! I shape it."

Ashe grabs Toni's and Selina's arms and rushes to the bathroom. She touches her hand flat to the bathroom mirror and it ripples. She then climbs in.

Toni and Selina look at each other. Toni tries diving for it, but Selina pushes her back and steps onto the sink and dives in. Toni laughs loud and hurries after her.

Selina is snickering and playfully shouts when Toni hits her arm. "This looks just like the normal world." Selina says,

"But cleaner." Toni finishes,

"The cool thing, once inside, again its my power, i can...sort of fast travel wherever i want as long as i got access to a reflection."

Ashe touches the mirror again. The world around them twists and closes in fast, hesitates for a moment and shoots out, as if the surroundings had been paper, crumpled up with a blackboard behind it.

Toni and Selina bend over. "Ugh geez." Selina says,

Toni gags like shes gonna puke, both with their hands on their knees. "You get used to it. Mirrors also hold memories."

"S....so where are we?" Selina asks,

Ashe grins brightly, "Prescott square. In our time its the rich district. But watch this." She practically sings,

They wait for a few seconds Ashe pulls a phone out and plays the song Find A Way Out by Harley Bird and Aeden just as different colored powders explode in the air, all around them.

Toni and Selina jump, illuninated by the night and the lampposts, explosions of orange and green and blue and pink and red.

"Where are we!?" Toni asks smiling,

"The color festival in Prescott square six years before the formation of The State."

Selina huffs out and grins, Ashe smiles at her and touches a glass window behind her. Echoed cheers and excitement fills the streets. Selina looks at Ashe and laughs, letting an explosion of pink powder shower her, the neon color glows in the light of the bright full moon.

It doesn't take long for them to start dancing around and cheering, enjoying the beat of Ashe's music with pumped up audio and the cheers of those in the past.

Ashe tells them she'll be back. It doesnt take long and she returns with Neo. They dance and sing for hours enjoying every minute.

As for Selina, she loves every second, but it feels so foreign and strange to her to be dancing. But regardless, she loses herself in a wondrous celebration.
