Something sliced through the air and the vine got cut up into several bits. "Seriously, who goes running into battle without a single weapon on you? Did you hang out with the barbarians too much?" Aimi chided as she made her grand entrance.

She tossed swords that were incredibly light and easy to wield to Naoko and Tadashi. "I haven't forgotten my purpose of being here."

Naoko was impressed with how Aimi's words conveyed different meanings to her and Tadashi but served the same effect.

Things were easier to manage with Aimi's and Hansuke's aid. In view of Naoko's safety, Tadashi accepted their help with a look on his face like he was forced to swallow something very bitter. They began to retreat. However, the creatures never backed off.

"How are they so relentless?" Aimi grumbled under the breath.

"Where are they all coming from? Aren't there many others battling ahead of us?" Hansuke started to suspect something too.
