Meeting, Greeting Time

"Remember to use your knife as if it's a part of you." I explained as we practiced striking outside for Phys Ed. "When trying to assassinate, your weapon is part of you."

Each of the students used their knifes to strike me, each of them using their own advantages and techniques.

Shiyori for example, her soft and silent footsteps give her an chance to sneak attack. And Suguru has flexible limbs, allowing him to slip away from holds. And Akamiya, at first glance, he's sarcastic, lazy and nonchalant. But underneath it all, he has instincts of a killer.

Momoku and Kironi are excellent shooters. They practice with BB guns, shooting the target with amazing aim. Momoku's steady hand keeps the target in sight. Kironi's mind of patience gives her a chance to settle down and breath, that way the bullet hits the target.

All in all, our best sharp shooters, even though they haven't pulled out a gun against me yet.

Those are the stand-outs of these would-be assassins.

I continued blocking my students attacks, until I started to feel an intense pressure creeping behind me. My instinct kicked in and I forcefully threw the one behind me.

"Ow!" Hidoi rubbed his head. "C'mon, that was unnecessary, don't you think?"

Was that really Hidoi? That the intensity I felt?

"Oh, Hidoi," Emiyu patted Hidoi's back. "You've always got your eye on the target."

"A guy like you should've seen that coming." Oniya teased.

"Whatever, shut the hell up."

Hidoi Imenai. I swear, it's exactly like when Karasuma threw me that one time. Just like for him, I thought I had a momentarily lapse of sanity. Like something crawled up my spine, and it wanted to dig it's fangs into me. Sort of like a spider.

"Alright," I sighed, dusting my hands and then my pants. "Let's go back inside for 5th period, shall we?"

—————

End of the day, Friday. Isogai wanted everybody, I mean, everybody, to come help out and clean up the mountain campus, which we now owned. The place of Koro-Sensei's rest. Not a grave, but a memorial. As class president, and Prince Charming, he takes this ordeal very seriously.

"Alright, good job today class." I smiled and swung my bag over my shoulder. "Please, safely go home. I'd rather not get another complaint from the fellow teachers again."

I shut the sliding door and went on my way to the mountain campus.

"Man, why do I get the feeling he's always going off somewhere with his friends?" Taino questioned his fellows classmates. "What is he? Some kind of spy agent?"

"I mean, it is his privacy." Ichika stated. "Why don't we stay out of his personal business?"

"Look at you," Suta used Ichika's shoulder as an elbow stand. "Being all goody-two shoes…again. With your beauty, I'd probably be going around playing boys everywhere."

"Back in the subject of Shiota-Sensei," Mirenai rolled his eyes. "Say he's going to somewhere like New York every so often…do you think he'll bring souvenirs?"

The class deadpanned, the same thought passing through their minds.

"What goes on in your head, man?" Akamiya asked.

"Don't just say everything we think!" The entire class scolded.

"If he is heading to places outside of Japan, I want some food from those greasy food trucks." Surimei suggested.

"Maybe some hot chicks! The dark haired ones!" Iyama said like it was on his wishlist.

"So, hey, what's New York's export?" Remiga asked casually. There was that one time I can recall where Isogai asked that same question. Why is everyone so hung up on New York?

"I dunno, booze? Alcohol?" Kirai also said casually.

"Too bad we're not at drinking age."

"Damn, can you imagine if he came back with a someone? Maybe one of those New York blondies?" Iyama continued rambling about girls.

"Get your mind out of the gutter!"

Suddenly, the slid open again. A tall man in a black suit and spiky brown hair stood tall, with a small girl of seven years old holding his hand.

"Hello, children," his voice ran deep as he greeted the class. "I'm Tadaomi Karasuma, your teacher's former mentor."

I honestly didn't know that Karasuma would be visiting, with his daughter nonetheless. And to make thing even better, Professer Bitch was there with him.

"Lord, these are Nagisa's problem children?" I guess I should call her Irina instead of Professor Bitch now that we're all grown up now. "They look worse then when we were teaching 3-E."

"Who the hell are you?!" The class held their knifes in an attacking position, minus Hidoi, who was holding the gun from yesterday.

"Wah!" The little girl pointed at the students. "Daddy, are they assassins? Like mommy?"

"Yes, Ayuna. They seem like would-be assassins." Karasuma rubbed the little girl's cheek.

"Excuse me for interrupting this family moment," Hidoi put his finger on the trigger, this time, the gun wasn't on safety. "But can we get a few answers here?"

"You're more jumpy then those brats from the last generation." Irina rolled her eyes.

"As I said before, I'm Karasuma, I was your teacher's mentor. This is my wife, Irina, and my daughter Ayuna."

"And we still don't know why you've come to this class of all the classes?" Emiyu rolled her eyes, mocking Irina. "We're, like, the lowest of the low. Outcasts."

"You could say that we heard the news of your assassination."

The class processes that for a few seconds. They weren't so jumpy anymore.

"I thought we were the only ones who knew about that." Mekura lowered her knife in confusion.

"As the someone who works with the government and assassins, I have my ways of getting information."

"He got the information from Nagisa's friends." Irina called Karasuma out.

"I was getting to that part…" his eyebrow twitched in annoyance.

"Sorry, class," I rubbed my head, completely missing the fact that the Karasuma family was there. "I forgot my phone-"

"Uncle Nagisa!" Ayuna's voice caught me off guard. I realized that they were here.

"Mr. Karasuma! Professor Bitch?"

"Professor Bitch?" My students echoed my words. "Now I really wonder what Shiota-Sensei did in junior high."

I then noticed that everyone had their knives out. Hidoi had a sort of glare on his face. The same look Itona would have when he was annoyed or irritated. His face said it all, he didn't trust them. He doesn't trust anybody. It takes a while for that trust to build.

"Okay, put your weapons away. I really hope that gun is on safety, Hidoi." I gestured them to relax.

"Safety, no safety," Hidoi shrugged. "There's no ammo in it."

"Damn it, Hidoi!" The class face palmed and pinched the bridge of their noses in disappointment.

"I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Karma told you about this." I continued on as Ayuna came over for a hug.

"You're correct." Karasuma nodded. "Karma being who he is, I have no idea why, but he comes over for some god damn reason and fills me in on your…teaching."

What the hell does that mean? The class had thought to themselves, all in unison.

"I'm going home," Hidoi pushed through Karasuma and Irina.

"Hey, kid," Irina said, trying to look sexy like she always did. "Say excuse me. Don't be a brat."

Hidoi glared at Irina, telling her to back off. I could tell that Irina got the message, because she shuddered and her eyes turned dull.

"Don't talk to me," Hidoi turned away and continued walking.

Irina and Karasuma watched as Hidoi left. Breaking the silence, Oniya ran after the loner teenager. "Hey, man! Wait up!"

The class smiled hesitantly, then all at once, grabbed their bags and ran out of the classroom hurriedly.

"Well, so much for introducing ourselves." Irina flipped her hair. "C'mon, Ayu, let's go."

"Coming, mommy!" Ayuna ran to Irina's side and held her hand as they walked out.

"That went…really poorly." Nagisa sighed. "Wait, what are you guys doing here? Were you here for an announcement ? Or something else?"

"Karma keeps coming to my office, telling me that I should 'check out' your students, whatever the hell that means. Either way, you allowed them to kill you?" Karasuma cocked an eyebrow and looked at me like I was crazy.

I get it! I'm not a scientific mutation!

"They started it first. They said they'd kill me if I bossed them around. I just simply took them up on that…offer."

"I'm surprised you work as a teacher, but, at the same time, I'm not. Well, I just came because Karma suggested it, and Irina decided to tag along with Ayuna. I'll be on my way."

I smiled. At least he took the time to actually check on us, sort of like a father figure. We always sort of saw him like that.

"Oh, before I go," Karasuma said before leaving. "You probably alwaready understand this, but that Hidoi kid. He's a mystery. I'd keep a closer eye on him."

And he left, leaving me inside the room. I thought about what he said. I already have a close eye on him, and now he suggests I keep an even closer eye on him. Maybe I should have some sort of talk with him at some point.

—————

"Nagisa!" Sugino waved to me as I reached the top of mountain.

Everybody was there. That's two times in one week that I've seen everyone. Right now, Okajima, Hayami, Kataoka and Kayano were spraying each other with water from the hoses. They looked like they were having fun.

"Spray him!" Okajima and Kataoka yelled.

"Ah, wait! Don't do that-"

Didn't matter what I said. They still sprayed me…in the face. I was now soaking wet and so were my clothes."

"Thanks, guys," I said sarcastically. "That was just the best greeting ever…I am now soaking."

"Oh, boo." Karma said from behind, bending over so her was at my height. "You can always dry off in the sun. Besides, it's a just a little clean up and you can go."

"Hey, Nagisa!" Isogai wrapped his arm around me. "Aaand you are soaking wet. Okay, let's get to work now."

"We've been working ever since we got here!" Hara pointed a finger at Isogai.

Maehara rolled his eyes and smiled like this always happened. And it does always happen. "Once class president, always class president."

As we started cleaning, Hidoi hid in the bushes. Unaware of his presence, we all just minded our own business and took care of the overgrown plants. As I started helping with the weeds and polishing the wood, he found his way inside the school.

So much for former assassins. He thought as he opened the door to the classroom and dropped his bag on the floor. Why the hell are there so many people around?

"What a stupid drawing," he saw the drawing of Koro-Sensei on the chalkboard. He rubbed his finger on one of the tentacles, smudging the picture.

Koro-Sensei?

"Ah, shut up, Itona!" Yoshida demanded as he carried a bucket of soapy water.

"It's true," Itona gave a blank expression. "What's his name? Tera-something? He's trying to be a politician? Lame."

"The hell?!" Teraseka boomed. "Wanna say that to my face?!"

"I just did."

Kirara and Muramatsu simply shook their head with smiles. How excpected of those two, always arguing.

Hidoi threw himself over a desk and hid behind the tables in the back. Itona slid the door open, and continued walking inside with his chaotic group of friends.

"Hey, who he hell smudged the Koro-Sensei doodle?" Muramatsu squinted at the drawing. "He's missing one of his tentacles."

"Perhaps Teraseka did." Itona blamed Teraseka right off the bat.

"What makes you think I did it?!"

Jeez, are these guys idiots?

Yoshida put the bucket on one of the desk and clapped his hands. "Hurry up, let's get to it already."

"The sooner we clean this up, the sooner I can spray you all with the hose." Kirara sneered an evil smile.

Hidoi deadpanned at the idiotic group. They were always like that, even after seven years.

As Hidoi tried moving to get his bag that was still in the floor, he kept watch of the cleaning crew, making sure he wouldn't get caught. He got closer and closer to his bag, until a foot got in his way. Muramatsu was right above him, cleaning the desk, completely missing Hidoi.

Caught by surprise, Hidoi pulled his hand back in with panic and accidentally hit his head on the desk. He groaned quietly and held his head.

"What the actual-" Muramatsu said in surprise, feeling the thud on the desk.

"What?" Yoshida lifted his head up, putting the sponge in his hand into the bucket.

"Did anybody follow us in here? Maybe Maehara or Okajima?"

"Nope, I don't think so."

"Then who hell would be under this desk!" Muramatsu then looked under the table.

There Hidoi was, his cover blown. He thrusted his legs and kicked Muramatsu in the face.

"Ow, what the hell!" He held his face and fell over. "Who is this dumb kid?!"

Hidoi grabbed his bag and jumped onto the desk near Muramatsu.

"Hey, that's the Kunugigaoka uniform!" Teraseka pointed at his uniform, noticing that it was the similiar to his junior high clothes.

"Oh, good on you. You figured it out." Itona simply stared at Hidoi with the blank expression.

Hidoi looked at the five of them, studying them with his blank black eyes. Standing still for a few moments, it was as time had completely stopped.

"Hey, guys," Chiba walked into the classroom. "We actually need help with the weeds. Could you finish up the desks real quick-"

Chiba finally noticed Hidoi, who was still standing on the desk. "Who is this?" He pointed at Hidoi and looked at Teraseka.

"How should I know?" Teraseka shrugged. "And we just cleaned the desks, you dull-eyed runt!"

Hidoi rolled his eyes, then jumped across the tables , heading for the open window to escape. He threw his bag out the window as Teraseka and Yoshida tried catching him. Hidoi dodged all of their grab and jumped out the window. He pulled a hoodie out of his bag and put it, pulling his hood up to keep himself hidden.

"Oi!" Teraseka yelled at the ones closest to the building, which was Kanzaki, Okajima, Isogai, Maehara, Hayami Kayano, Hara and Okano. "You idiots! Catch that kid!"

Teraseka pointed at Hidoi and shouted them to catch Hidoi, like he was a thief. Maehara cut Hidoi's escape path, causing him to slide, turn around and run a different way.

Then Okajima blocked him off, then Kayano, Hayami, and Isogai did the same. Soon enough, he had less then a few escape plans.

"Fuck off," he said and ran toward Maehara, who was in front of the building. Maehara started to get nervous and his face twisted into a nervous expression.

Hidoi slid under Maehara, the. Jumped onto his back and grabbed the edge of the roof. He pulled himself up and sat down, like it was a casual thing to do.

"Hey, there," Karma said behind him.

Hidoi's eyes widened. He quickly turned around and clapped his hands in front of Karma's face. A loud sound rang through his ears, shearing Karma. He slipped, confused and startled by the sudden clap. He slid down and fell off the roof, but was ininjured since it wasn't that high.

"I don't think running will help your case," Yada said as she came up behind Hidoi.

Hidoi took his pocket knife out of his sleeve and tried stabbing Yada, keeping her away from him.

"Hidoi?" I said while carrying a basket full of weeds. "What are you doing here?"

Hidoi didn't answer, as usual.

"It's okay, Yada," I smiled and waved at Yada. "He's a student of mine. No need to try and chase him."

"Now, where the hell did he learn that shit from?" Karma rubbed his head and stood up.

"Learn what?" Isogai asked.

"That clapping thing that Nagisa does."

I tilted my head in confusion. I never taught him that. The only time he's seen me do it is the first day of the school year.

"Hidoi, what are you doing here?" I asked, watching Hidoi jump down from the roof and glare at my friends who stood around him.

"What does it look like?" He answered with a question, taking a tone that Karma didn't like.

"Watch it," Karma smiled to cover his bloodlust.

"It fine, Karma," I waved my hands around, gesturing Karma to calm down. "He's always like this."

I saw Hidoi pull his hood down, trying to cover his face. Hidoi, being the quiet and loner teenager he is, doesn't like being around other people he doesn't trust. You could say he has a sort of anxiety.

"Why are there so many people here?" He said, whispering.

"What?" I asked, trying to confirm what I heard.

"What are all of you doing here? I've never seen you here before."

"Kid, you act like you're always here." Yoshida hopped out the window to join the conversation.

"That's because I always come out here." Hidpi kept his voice low and quiet. We could barely hear him. "I was here first. Who the hell is Koro-Sensei? Why are you all here like you care about this place?"

Hidoi looked as if he was panicking. He was definitely nervous around everyone. I took two of my fingers and pressed a spot in his neck, calming him down.

"It's alright, Hidoi," I smiled, then hugged him to comfort the panicked teenager. "It's alright."
