In that instant, Duncan's consciousness was suddenly flooded with foreign yet chaotic perceptions, much like his previous "Spirit Realm walks". His "perspective" seemed to split in two, and a brand-new shell became his new "extremity" for sensing the world, but... it felt different from before.
The new "perspective" was filled with restless streaks of light, like interference, as light and shadow flickered in the water like scan lines. He saw the distant land shrouded in darkness, the "Primordial Land", as well as countless human-shaped entities floating around it. At the same time, he saw the unassuming submarine—it hung above the deep-sea floating island at a forward-leaning angle, with pale light extending from its front end and gradually dispersing in the water.
All around him, there were lights and shadows, vaguely defined. Even where the submarine's floodlights couldn't reach, he could "see" faint glimmers and outlines—this was an entirely new perspective.
