Chapter 11: Wife Candidates?, Are You Kidding Me?

"Which weapon do you use?" Ryan asked, he was very curious about her weapon choice.

"I can use every weapon in existence because of how old I am, but my favourite are spears," Tia said with a smile.

"Hmm.....quite a versatile weapon, I too would prefer using a spear." He said with a sigh. He suddenly felt something reacting inside his body, it was the sword.

'Fuck, are you saying you can transform into any weapon I want?'

"Tia, can you teach me every weapon I want to learn?" He asked in a polite tone.

"I can, but it will take time, it took me 1000 years to master every weapon." Tia said she didn't care how much time it would take teaching him, she was too bored to worry about trivial matters like those.

"Oh, Time is the only thing I can invest in without stressing myself out." He said he always wanted to learn how to use different kinds of weapons, but the current time period didn't allow it.

"What weapon do you use currently?, must be a sword right?" Tia said it was an easy guess because the sword is the most basic weapon.

"Yup, I use a sword." He said and summoned his sword on his palm, the sword looked really beautiful, when light fell on the black blade, it didn't reflect any light, whereas, the golden runes on its hilt shone brightly.

"What a beauty, what do you call it?" Tia felt enchanted by the stunning weapon, she felt a strong desire to take the weapon from Ryan but it was quickly discarded because she suddenly felt uneasy while looking at it but once again she wanted to touch this sword.

'A sentient weapon, which has a strong bond with its owner, should I try holding it once.' She thought.

"Ryan, I wanted to ask you this before but where did you get this sword?" Selene asked, even though she felt enchanted by the weapon.

'What should I say?I don't want to reveal anything about my thoughts, Kael warned me about this.' He was surprised by the sudden question from Selene.

"I don't know, this sword manifested after my Awakening, must be related to that." Ryan said, trying to sound as easy going as possible.

"You, do you know that there are less than 100 beings in this galaxy who manifest their own weapons?, and the manifested weapons are the perfect partners for their owners." Selene was shocked because even she didn't have a manifested weapon.

"Take my spear as an example, she can easily control wind, which compliments my power to control water, I can create a raging storm while using my spear." Tia said after summoning her soul weapon.

It was a majestic looking spear, which was golden in colour, the spearhead had a red gem embedded in it, if one looked closely, they could see the flow of wind inside it.

"I call my Spear, Corentin, she's been with me since the time I was just a kid." Tia said, her voice contained extreme love for her weapon.

"No matter how many times I look at it, this weapon never ceases to surprise me." Selene said with fascination evident in her eyes.

"Hmm....do you mind if I hold it?" Ryan asked Tia.

"Darling, you should not ask for a warrior's weapon, it's extremely disrespectful to them." Selene said, concern visible in her eyes, the last time someone dared to ask for her weapon they died a horrifying death.

"Oh, I didn't know, I'm really sorry about my behaviour." He said with sincerity.

"No, you don't have to, you can hold my spear, you are my friend's boyfriend, it should be fine." Tia said with a friendly smile.

'Now, time to see if she rejects Ryan.' Tia thought,

Tia handed over Corentin to Ryan, and as soon as he held the golden spear in his hand, the weapon started shaking violently. The spear started releasing its power, violent winds started forming inside the room, Ryan felt a repulsive force but still held onto the spear.

Soon the resistance was nowhere to be found, like it never existed. The golden spear started glowing faintly like she had found a new friend.

Tia was dead surprised by it but didn't say anything.

"Darling, I think you should return the spear to her." Selene said she didn't want Ryan to hold the spear any longer.

"Thanks, this is an excellent spear, for compensation, I'll allow you to hold my weapon." Ryan said with a nonchalant look on his face.

'Your weapon, I wonder what kind of nature this stunning beauty has.' Tia thought.

"Thanks, have you decided on a name for it?" Tia asked, the name of a weapon always hinted at its powers.

'Hey, you said you can change into any weapon I want, right?'

'Cool, so I'll name you Umbra, the shadow.' Ryan named the sword.

'Oh, you like it.' Umbra seemed to like her name.

"Her name is Umbra, she is my shadow." Ryan said he felt really proud of his naming sense.

"Umbra, a nice name, but why did you call her your shadow?" Tia was confused by his sudden remark.

"It can change to any weapon I want, like a shadow changes its shape in respect to the person it belongs to." Ryan explained his reasoning to Tia and Selene.

"She has the ability to shape shift, this is the first time I saw a soul weapon like this. Every soul weapon takes a definite shape after its master is born. This is a very rare thing to see." Tia said in an excited tone.

Ryan handed over the black sword to Tia who was staring at the weapon. She was feeling something wild within the sword. The moment she held Umbra's hilt, she felt a jolt of electricity in her palms which was followed by an illusion. The illusion was really scary, but she didn't want to mention it.

She returned the sword and said "You have a really powerful weapon and the best thing is you don't have to find different weapons while training."

"Oh, thanks for the compliment." He said to Tia, who was staring at him intensely.

'Fuck.' He thought.

"So when will you start training me?" He asked, he was really enthusiastic about learning from a person who has gained mastery over multiple weapons.

"We can start right now but your girlfriend who's pouting like a moody cat, won't like it." She smirked while looking at Selene.

'Bitch, asking you to stay was the worst decision I made in my entire life.' Selene thought

'If he becomes stronger than me, then taking him won't be a bad thing.' Tia thought while looking at Ryan.

"Selene, shall we go?I am a bit sleepy." Ryan held her hand and asked in a gentle manner.

'You lost, bitch.' Selene thought.

"Anything you want." Selene said with a heartwarming smile.

"Jessica, escort her to the guest room." She said, just after that Jessica appeared.

"Lady Selene, should I ask the kitchen staff to prepare something for our guest?"

Selene looked at Tia who just shook her head in denial.

"I will just go to sleep for now, let's go Jessica." Tia said while patting Jessica's shoulder.

"As you wish, Lady Tia." Both of them left the room.

"Darling, stay aware of her, I don't like the way she looks at you." She said Selene was a bit furious at her friend.

"Don't worry, I am not foolish enough to trust her that easily." He smiled at her and said.

"Now, let's go to your room" He said, but suddenly Ryan did something which shocked Selene, ofcourse in a good way. He carried Selene in his arms and started walking towards her room.

'Hehe...the progress is good, I didn't think he would carry me like a princess this soon.'

Guest Room

Tia sat on the bed and let out a long sigh, she then summoned a device which had a green gemstone embedded on it. Tia poured some of her mana inside the device, soon the device started vibrating and a heavy voice surrounded the room.

"Hello princess, why did you call me?" The voice said.

"Father, I found him," She said in a delighted tone.

"Found who?" Bahamut replied.

"Old man, don't act ignorant, you know who I am talking about." She said,

"So you actually found him, I didn't think it would be this easy." Bahamut said in an enthusiastic manner.

"I accidentally stumbled upon him, when I came to meet Luna." She said her father had asked her to find the identity of the recently awakened dragon.

"Did you measure his power?, because that's what we need now." Bahamut said in a serious tone.

"After causing so much mayhem he stands at the power level of a 900 years old dragon and he can manipulate time." She was really surprised by the sudden meeting with Ryan because she did not expect to meet the dragon she was searching for so soon.

"Tiamat, did you just say he has the power of time control?" Bahamut was surprised to hear about this certain power.

"Yes, but why are you so surprised about it?I have it too." She was curious about her father's surprised reaction.

"Tia, you just found the missing piece, now within the darkness we have a small flame to guide us." Bahamut sounded really happy, which was really rare.

"You mean to say, he's Kaelestis." Tia said, shock evident on her face.

"Precisely." Bahamut was laughing after a very long time.

"Did you find what he desires the most?" He said Bahamut wanted to know about his desire because a dragon's desire forms their personality.

"No, I didn't think it would be necessary, but I am sure it's not lust, he simply ignored my provocations." She said,

"Hahaha! So you like him?It should be fine to marry him because we originally planned to make you his bride, but his adoptive parents were somehow able to hide him for 19 years." He said.

"You never told me about your plans." Tia pouted, she didn't dislike the idea of marrying Ryan.

"Now hold your horses, you are not the only bride candidate." He sneered.

"Aphrodite, Nyx, Athena and even Artemis wanted to be his bride." Bahamut laughed like a madman, he found it funny that his only daughter fell for the dragon on their first meeting.

"That whore too?" She was fuming with anger when she heard Aphrodite's name.

"If you ask me, I would say that the most surprising one here is Athena, the universally known man hater." He was still laughing.

"But father, I believe he won't even look at those bitches." she smirked.

"Why?, is he gay?" Bahamut asked, he didn't want him to be gay because of only one entity: Zeus, that bastard does numerous weird things and homosexuality is one of the normal ones, if Kaelestis turns out to be gay, he'll personally kill him. Bahamut didn't want to interact with Zeus, after what he tried to do with him. He was ready to die but he didn't want to see Zeus acting like a horny teenager.

"No, he already has a woman, Luna already stole him." She felt relieved that he was her friend's partner.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk, Strong entities are never satisfied with one woman, he'll eventually start creating his own harem, it's inevitable." Bahamut knew this really well because, even he was like Ryan in the beginning.

"So what name does he go by?As far as I remember his family name should be Miller, but I wonder what they named him." He said.

"Ryan, his name is Ryan." She said with a beautiful smile.

"They named him Ryan?What a fitting name for the little king." He said with a smile.

"Tia, I would really love it, if you train him in martial arts." Bahamut said he knew that the best teacher for him would be his daughter.

"I was going to, even if you did not mention it." She always liked to train potential powerhouses who could possibly leave a deep mark on history.

"Then I'll disconnect the ca-" She was about to say this, but she was interrupted by her father.

"Wait a minute, I still have something to say." He said with a panicked voice.

"What is it?" She was starting to feel annoyed by him.

"Make sure you don't use your usual training regime on him. He is different." He said in a dead serious tone.

"Ofcourse father, I don't want my future husband to be an emo man." She said before disconnecting the call.

"I really need to get married. Being scary is fun but-... Whatever!" She sighed
