Epilogue

Baptisma, Capital of Usona

With gentle steps through halls of power, a man hummed as he made his unhurried way to the office of the President.

He arrived and was checked for weapons - not that he needed any to be deadly - before the double doors were opened to him and he was shown to a very comfortable couch that he'd sat on many a time.

The room was opulently furnished. Four couches, and chairs on either side of the door for the watchful agents. Everything in the room was practically an antique, except for the curtains. Those always changed every time some new body got to sit in the chair.

Most of the President's military command was seated amidst the other couches, and the man eyed the four other men in the room with a look that reminded them who had put them in their seats of power.

A folder was presented to the man, and he flipped through it, reading until he came to the end of the document, making everyone else wait in silence.
