3 Chapter 3

Bugger! I should have done that after eating breakfast. After finding the pear portrait in the lowest floor and eating a quick breakfast at the kitchen accompanied with house elves. I started walking to my first class which is History of Magic.

My first class in Hogwarts is with Hufflepuffs. There is a lot of whispers in the classroom. I sat on a empty corner of the classroom. Instead of listening to the Goblin rebellions, I started thinking about magic.

Potterverse magic may not be the strongest one in the all the animes or movies but it sure is versatile. I don't think wizards or witches of this world use this magic to its full potential, at least the ones in Europe because I don't know any other magical civilization of this world. In this magical culture, the society's effort to improve is unreasonably low.

For example, there is an astronomy class in the castle but in the history not any one person known to try to reach to the space or any planet.

The ocean areas of the world are even more unknown to the Europe's magical civilization, it is like these places doesn't exist for them. I mean, thinking there is dragons, phoenixes, soul eating creatures like dementors in this world. Considering even in the non-magical side of the world ocean creatures can be bigger and stronger than the land and sky creatures, there may be a world ending beast in there like those cultivation novels and nobody knows 😊.

Then there are the spells this civilization use. In any other anime or movie with magic the basic first magics that comes to mind are basic elemental spells like fireball, water bullet, earth bullet, lightning shot ...

The only school level magic that comes close to these is incendio and that is not used in magical fights or duels most of the times. Even in the movies the only time elemental magic used is when Voldemort and Dumbledore dueled in the Ministry of Magic on the movie, and these spells were advanced for most of the civilization. You would think an elemental basic spell would come to mind easier than for example Bat-Bogey Hex for spell crafters. Maybe like this most of the offence magic may not be known as dark magic.

For example, thinking about the shinobis in Naruto, there is so many ninjitsu they invented.

Maybe I can create spells like those jitsus. They may be life saving spells for me in the future, I need to work on them.

Sectumsempra is a spell that can make me stand above most of the people in a deathly head on duel in Europe. Because it can't be blocked with a simple Protego or even with solid objects like killing curse does, it can't be healed easily in battlefield, and it doesn't use as much magic power as the same level dangerous spells.

As I am deep in thought, the most boring class in the world ended. I packed my bag and existed the classroom, as I was intending to walk to my class in potions classroom, Mulciber and Avery cut my way to hallway.

"You could have been more than a simple, filthy half-blood, you could leave that mudblood and join us Snape, but you chose to leave all the glory of joining him for her." Said with a disgusted face Mulciber.

"I didn't do anything for her, I did it for myself." I said standing tall, not showing weakness.

"What do you mean Snape, what would be reason to declining and make a oath to not joining him." Said Avery, the smarter and more cunning slytherin of the two.

"Tell me yourself. As a half-blood in a pureblood centered group of powerful people based on economical, political and/or magical knowledge standards, how much power I would gain from these people. Would I gain a little bit of political influence, a few galleons from lords of the pureblood families or would they let me know even tiny bit of their family magic? Would they let a half-blood gain power? Tell any powerful half-blood in this society other than Dumbledore.",

"So what! Then you chose to join the muggle lover blood traitors and mudbloods." Said Mulciber angry.

"No, I despise the so-called light side, they don't even know anything about the muggles they wanted to protect. They label any magic they don't understand as dark. I have no intention to join them or Dumbledore, and me making a vow to not be a death eater does not mean I can't be useful to the pureblood cause." I said grinning slightly.

"How would you be useful Snape? Tell us about it."

"I am in my fifth year right now and we both know that the person with the most chance to be a potionist is me in the castle. I may be a valuable potion source for a sufficient fee of course for your cause and as the ones introduced me to the cause, you would also take credit for this."

"It is not guarantee for you to be a potions master Snape." Said Mulciber calmed down mostly.

"Anything is not guarantee for anyone, at the end I took the vow, and whether I will be a potions master or not you will not lose anything. There is only gain for you."

"I hope you won't disappoint us Snape." Said Mulciber and they walked away.

Hell no!!! I would not make potions for murderers, child killers, cowards that hide behind a mask and murder an unsuspected family in a surprise attack. This will just earn me time and at most at the worst possible scenario I will leave the country for a few years or just the magical Britain and settle down in muggle side, buying the things I need in magical side with the help of a house elf.
