Chapter 322: Galaxy's Headquarters

"Rejected again?" Arthur lounged on the couch while talking on the phone with Amy Pascal, one hand resting on Christiana Reali's hair.

"Yes, I understand. I'll come back as soon as possible," Arthur said, hanging up the phone and spreading his arms as he leaned back on the couch.

Christiana, who was serving him, seemed to sense his unrest and began to gently caress Arthur, trying to comfort him.

Sophie Marceau, wrapped in a towel after a bath, walked slowly to Arthur's side and bent down to kiss him on the head.

"Mm," Arthur responded passionately to Sophie Marceau's kiss and hugged the woman tightly.

A moment later, Christiana stood up from the floor, breathing heavily, "Arthur, is something going on in Hollywood?"

"Oh, what happened now?" Sophie Marceau asked with slight interest while lying on Arthur.

Arthur took a deep breath, caressing Sophie Marceau's ample figure, and smiled, "It's not a big deal. Galaxy's request to join the MPAA as a full member was rejected again!"

Everyone in the entertainment industry knew what the MPAA was, so Sophie Marceau kissed Arthur on the chest and asked, "What do you plan to do next?"

"I have to return to America, so I can't stay with you over the New Year," Arthur said as he hugged Sophie Marceau and Christiana Reali, "I really don't want to leave!"

Christiana smiled, "We've spent more than a week together, and you still want more?"

Sophie Marceau didn't mind, "So, when do you plan to go?"

"Tomorrow," Arthur said, then looked at the two women, "Christiana, you're going back to Paris for sure. Sophie, will you come with me to America?"

Sophie Marceau shook her head, "No, I'll stay in Paris for a while. After a break, I'll head to America."

The next morning, Arthur bid farewell to the two women and returned to Los Angeles alone. Hollywood's landscape was shifted by Galaxy.

With its newfound power to challenge the six major traditional film groups, Galaxy would not settle for merely following the rules anymore.

The construction of Galaxy's headquarters was completed, and the offices from North Hollywood and Century City moved into Glendale.

In Arthur's office, Jennifer Aniston hugged Arthur, "This place is beautiful, and your office is really luxurious!"

Arthur rubbed her, "Aren't you filming Little Women?"

"I'm just a supporting character; I have much less screen time than Winona. She even came by during her promotion for The Pelican Brief and said Galaxy's new headquarters is huge," Jennifer Aniston said, kissing Arthur on the neck. "You're amazing; you've achieved your dream so quickly!"

Arthur smiled, "By the way, has the preliminary preparation for the show you're part of been completed?"

"They're casting now, and only three roles have been confirmed so far. The pilot will air during the summer. You really care about this show," Jennifer Aniston felt sweet, as Arthur had renamed Insomnia Cafe to Friends and provided a general direction.

ABC Television was also very excited about Friends!

"Heh, things are moving along," Arthur said, reaching into Jennifer Aniston's arms, "Darling, once this show airs, you'll definitely become America's sweetheart."

"Really?" Jennifer Aniston rubbed against Arthur, "As much as Winona?"

As it was New Year's Eve, cities held their own celebrations. In Manhattan, New York, at Viacom's headquarters in Times Square, Sumner Redstone gazed out over the Manhattan streets, feeling triumphant after the acquisition of Paramount.

Sumner Redstone had become a media mogul on par with Rupert Murdoch. As footsteps approached behind him, without turning around, Sumner Redstone said, "Philip, you're here."

"Yes, Mr. Redstone," Philip Doman, originally a lawyer, had become friends with Sumner Redstone during his acquisition of Viacom, gaining his favor.

Now, Philip Doman had risen from Sumner Redstone's personal lawyer to become a member of Viacom's board of directors!

"Let Sally join the board as well, appointing her as one of the vice presidents of the group," Sumner Redstone suddenly instructed.

Philip Doman hesitated for a moment, "Understood."

Sally Redstone was Sumner Redstone's daughter.

Sumner Redstone laughed, "Channels can't stop Galaxy's progress as long as they keep producing content that viewers can't resist. That's their biggest leverage, and it gives them bargaining power with theaters and TV operators. Ask Sherry to strengthen cooperation with Galaxy!"
