The workshop was heated up in the blazing heat from the fireplace. This time Felix was helping to melt the metals.

Merlin stood back and watched the boy watching the fire like a hawk. “You are doing good.”

He stayed close to avoid mishaps. However, Felix is a careful boy and there wasn’t anything to worry about.

“This boy would become a good blacksmith if he keeps on training this way.” One of the workers in the shop whispered to the other one.

“Is master Merlin training him to become his successor in the future?” the second one asked. His mate shook his head and they both left.

Babak heard the words and walked closer to his partner. “If Felix becomes your successor, it will be a great achievement for him.”

Merlin smiled “And what about your successor?”

“I had one in mind but she decided to leave for the field.” Babak shook his head and sighed.

“I think you should start looking for a wife.” Merlin chuckled.

“And why are you not choosing a wife?” he pushed Merlin.
