Chapter 12

Eleven ladies came into view. They were synonymously dressed in a simple, plain white gown. It was like they had stepped out from the painting of a masterful genius, with the highest caliber of masterstroke. Like holy angels that had descended from the nine heavens, to grace the mortal world of men. They sashayed with such elegance, such flawlessness, that even the greatest poet would find it hard to put this beautiful alignment into words.

They were all clad in white; from their scarfs, to their gowns and down to their stiletto heels. But the swirling dust couldn't stain this white. It was like they were encircled in an invisible barrier, defending them from the filthiness and impurities of the world.

The ladies moved in a certain formation; two were at the front, while the other nine formed a perfect arc, behind them. They moved slowly, without breaking up this formation. Like nine stars guarding two moons. It was obvious that the two in front had a higher, commanding status, than the rest.

Despite the trio of Douglas, Jason and Illenia, been a bit afar off, by infusing a little bit of Mana in their eyes, the ladies distance seemed to be as close as, standing right in front of them.

Douglas stared at the lady on the left, of the front two, and a thought popped up in an instant,

This lady is flawlessly beautiful

She had a perfect, symmetrical face, with blue eyes that could pierce deeply into one's soul. Her skin was very fair, like jade, and supple, like ripe peaches. She had golden blonde hair that cascaded down to her waist and wavered in the air imitating the scenery of the golden ocean under the sunset, dancing to the rhythmic blues of the north wind. She was tall. At least, as tall as he was. She had a slim figure, with some nice curves, though it was difficult to tell exactly how curvy she was, due to her gown been quite bogus.

She was captivatingly beautiful, but that wasn't exactly what drew his attention to her. She was familiar. Very familiar. But he wasn't still quite sure. The girl he knew and the lady he was seeing weren't similar in anyway. The appearance, the figure, the aura; it was all different. Though, nine years had gone by, but still there should be an atom of similarity left. One can't just change completely in such a space of time.

But, he could hardly ignore the warm sensation coursing his skin, the familiarity in his bones, the loud beating of his heart, and the images of the past, overlapping with the present. He knew this lady. It had to be her.

The fair lady was the first to notice the onrushing trio. Warmness effused from her heart, as she felt a mild tingle on her cheeks. A tear, as sweet as nectar, dropped from the corner of her blue eye, as she instantly recognized the intimate faces of the main characters of her childhood memories. Her best friends. Her family. The longing that had been lingering in her heart over the years, had just been satisfied.

The tear dripping down her left cheek, the sweet, innocent smile, that brightened the horizon, exposing her pearly, white teeth, the deep dimple that added more beauty to her flawlessness; all the doubt in his mind poofed into thin air. It was indeed her. It was Jane Anastasia. It was Anna.

She had become so beautiful, so breathtakingly elegant, compared to the scrawny, dingy little Anna of his memories. The ice cool tomboy with no shame nor fear. The girl, whom rarely cared much about her appearance or how she was perceived. He was glad about this. She had grown up to be a proper lady. A lady with power. Master Jehoshaphat was spot on in his decision to afford her the opportunity of being a disciple in the Frozen Fairy Asgard. Other than maximizing her potential, there was no way she would have gained this elegance or prestige, if she was still slumming it with them.

Douglas was admiring the change that Anna had undergone, when suddenly his attention was unconsciously diverted to the woman beside her. His mind instantly went blank for an acute second, while he was still in motion. His consciousness returned and then went blank again. He nearly barged into Jason, beside him. He struggled to regain his composure and take control himself.

Yes, he was lost. He was utterly lost in lust!

The woman wore a white mask to cover her face, barring her eyes, but even a fool wouldn't require a lot of insight to tell that this woman was an outwardly beauty. Perhaps a beauty so bewitching, that it could possibly take away a man's soul and leave him hollow.

Her hair was as long as Anna's, but hers was as pitch black as the night itself. Her exposed skin was so creamy and supple, that it could unconsciously drive one mad, to bite at it. It was like the forbidden fruit of good and evil, kept in isolation from the ignorance of the world, had finally been unveiled to the naked eye. She was perfectly fair, without any single blemish or impurity. Just her skin alone was enough to serenade men into ecstasy. But then, as if that wasn't enough sexual torture, she also had a banging hot body.

Unlike her compatriots, whom were in a loose gown, hers was tightly knit on her and it exposed her godly curvatures. Her figure 8 couldn't be explained in words, as the letters themselves would lose their touch to define such. It was like the notion 'figure 8' came into being, because of her. Like her body invented it.

Her ass was hazardous. Her boobs were full and magnificent. It made a jiggle, anytime she made an action. Each jiggle trapping the drooling men in her vicinity in an inescapable, seductive paradise.

With all the lewd, jaw dropping stares on her person, she didn't seem to mind. No, in fact she shook her assets with more rhythmic vigor and her waist slithered more like a snake in heat, drawing the men deeper and deeper into the abyss.

It was like the creation god had used the most exquisite clay, meant for his angels and had taken his sweet, precious time to attentively mold into being this devilishly bewitching, seductive goddess. She was indeed outwardly.

Douglas's main member almost bore a hole through his pants. He kept grinding his teeth and took in deep, heavy breaths to calm the f*ck down. He eventually noticed the bulge and embarrassingly covered himself with his palms. It was a good thing that Illenia was on the other side of Jason and not shoulder to shoulder with him, like when they strolled through the street earlier. How would he have even explained himself, if she had noticed? It would have been as awkward as f*ck!

Jason had not noticed, as well. He seemed to not be affected, as not one shred of lewdness could be detected on his face. It was still that excited grin, that joyous anticipation of reunion. Douglas wasn't surprised. Jason was the kind of person that never loses his concentration, when he's fixated on a particular thing. Especially, when such thing is as important as family.

Douglas desperately struggled to keep his cool, when he suddenly felt a twinge on his skin. It almost felt like frostbite, though at a very minimal degree. He couldn't discern what might be the cause this sensation. He wanted to ignore this, but he felt his skin been pricked again. And again, and again, and again, and again. The more, the distance shortened between them and the ladies in white, the more he felt this sharp, icy twinge on his skin more clearly. More painfully. It was like his skin was been pricked by a hundreds of sharp, little icicles.

When they were almost three hundred meters away, Douglas stopped abruptly. Jason and Illenia had moved some meters away, before they finally noticed that Douglas wasn't with them.

"What's the matter, Douglas?" Jason inquired with some concern.

"W- w- we h- have to go back." Douglas stammered.

"Huh? What?" Jason couldn't quite comprehend what he had just heard.

"I said, we have to f*cking go back! We have to leave here at once!!!" Douglas screamed, as he began to backpedal.

"What has gotten into you, Douglas? We are just a few distance away, what do you mean we have to go back?" Jason was utterly confused by Douglas's display. He didn't know what to make of this.

"You mean, you guys don't feel anything?!"

Douglas inquired, while hugging himself and shivering. He was even beginning to clatter his teeth.

"Feel what? What should I be feeling? Illenia, do you feel anything out of the ordinary?"

"No, I don't. Douglas what's going on? What's wrong?" Confusion and Concern was also evident on Illenia.

What a stupid question that was. If they were feeling exactly what he felt, they definitely wouldn't have found his action strange. It was like he was trapped in an icy hell, a million degrees below the freezing point! It was nothing compared to the prickling feeling of earlier.

He also could now clearly ascertain the cause of the anomaly he had been feeling on his skin. It was the aura of the masked woman!! Just her chilly aura alone was this powerful to psychologically repress him to this state! And the fact that Jason and Illenia couldn't feel it, made it even scarier! A lot scarier!

They had to f*cking leave! If they dared to anger this woman in anyway and cause her to lose her temper, just her breath alone could permanently end them, with no hope of recovery! And he couldn't trust himself to not act lewd in front of her! Nor could he ascertain that she wouldn't lash out at him due to his status, as a Bermudian. He couldn't risk it. His friends lives might be at stake too, as they could become casualties. He wasn't about to fuck with death. Not now. Not when he hadn't achieved his purpose yet.

"Trust me, we got to go now. I will explain later, I promise." Douglas earnestly pleaded.

"But, what about meeting An-"

"Jason, we can always meet Anna later! But not right now! Not when she's with that.... Look, we just got to leave here immediately!"

Jason hesitated, as he was quite conflicted on what to do. It took a while, but in the end, he trusted Douglas's instinct and unwillingly turned back. The trio proceeded back to the Hanji store in silence.
