Breaking out of the shell was the first test for oviparous animals. Congenital factors such as weak constitution or excessively hard eggshells may lead to failure in hatching. However, this giant egg was not naturally produced but created by Arceus, so its body was very healthy.

The arm was just the beginning. Though the arm seemed to have scales, it was an illusion caused by the residual mucus inside the eggshell reflecting the light from the diamond bed. As the eggshell cracked more and more, its overall figure became more refined.

The exposed gray-green skin, although tender, exhibited a rocky texture. Both arms had broken free from the shell, and soon its head emerged from the eggshell, revealing its complete body.

Although its lower body remained inside the eggshell, judging from what was revealed of its body, its arms were slightly short, raising doubts about whether it could touch its own head.

A long, blunt horn protruded from its head, almost similar in length to its arms.

The first form of the Desert Tyrant Tyranitar - Larvitar.

The just-born Larvitar felt something touching its head. Soon it opened its red eyes, and Yamato's figure appeared in its vision.

The voice felt familiar, as if she had been communicating with it every day even before it hatched.

Though the afternoon sunlight wasn't harsh, Larvitar still felt uncomfortable. This was a trait of Larvitar; they weren't accustomed to external light right after birth.

Wild Tyranitars would intentionally choose a large mountain to lay eggs, digging a hollow underneath it. This served both to protect Larvitar and to provide the necessary nutrients for its growth.

This was also how Larvitar nurtured its offspring. It would consume soil while moving towards its kin. Only by eating all the soil until it reached the surface could it see its parents.

Every time a Larvitar evolves into a Tyranitar, a large mountain vanishes from the world. They are real earth-eaters; the consumed soil provides the energy needed for their evolution.

In a sense, every Larvitar was a born foodie; Arceus merely created it but did not nurture its personality, which is entirely random.

Yamato had often used the Power of Viridian to communicate with the Larvitar while it was still in its egg. This could be considered a unique type of prenatal education, and as a result, Larvitar had an overly enthusiastic personality*. Not like the Larvitar with social anxiety that Ash found on Mt. Silver, but rather someone who is so enthusiastic that makes others feel nervous. As soon as it was born, it saw its creator and excitedly waved at Arceus before rolling off the diamond bed.

This action freed it completely from its eggshell, revealing its lower body.

Its small feet were equally short but sturdy. Unlike its belly and other areas, it had a special red scale protecting its delicate abdomen, while also revealing its uniquely shaped tail.

However, it paid no attention to these things. After getting up, it started eating its eggshell. In just a few bites, the hard shell was cleaned out.

Then it rubbed its belly, showing no signs of being full. It then targeted the bed where it had lived as an egg.

Larvitar ate soil, but not just soil. A mountain was not made of soil alone; it consisted of countless minerals and rocks, all of which were part of its diet.

At this moment, it completely disregarded Yamato and Arceus behind it, grabbing the diamond bed and nibbling on it. Although the bed was a bit hard for its just-born self, it still slowly nibbled on the large diamond as if it were eating a hard candy.

For a regular Larvitar to evolve into Tyranitar, it needs to devour a mountain. These minerals are its source of nourishment and the essence of its power, which is why Arceus created Larvitar to evolve gradually.

Similar to Aggron before, the unique rare minerals in the one piece world can facilitate better growth for Larvitar and also result in significant size differences.

Ordinary Larvitar, even at the brink of evolution, reaches a maximum height of 0.6 meters. But this Larvitar, just born, was nearly two meters tall, not much different from the current Yamato.

Its creation premise was based on war beasts, and was destined to grow into a large monster rivaling Emboar. Compared to Tyranitar, it will be closer to its prototype - Godzilla.

However, a mere mountain cannot provide the necessary conditions for such a monster's growth. To grow successfully, it might need to devour an entire island.

"Eat... an island?!"

"That's right, and this will be your next task, Yamato. Its nurturing is now in your hands. Ensuring it is well-fed is also one of your tasks. Otherwise, we'll have no choice but to send it away."

Its appetite made her feel a bit overwhelmed. Although Diancie could create diamonds, she couldn't just feed Larvitar diamonds. According to Arceus, Larvitar's growth requires various minerals, something that Wano Country's land couldn't afford to waste.

When it comes to matters related to Kaido, Yamato's intelligence level instantly rises to match Kaido's. She had seen Kaido's fight with Whitebeard, and that day she understood why Kaido always said he was just playing with her.

She didn't know what would satisfy Kaido. Before that, she couldn't let Larvitar go hungry.

"As long as you don't disappoint him, you don't have to worry about Larvitar's food."
