CH 20: Let the Feast Begin

As the two sat on top of a tower on the bridge, Slathilia and Jinx looked down. Slathilia's black waterfall of hair dancing in the air with Jinx's two long blue braids. Creating an interesting view. Sitting there, Jinx had a nervous expression.

Jinx :"Will she actually show up here?"

Slathilia :"Yeah, she will. Along with Ekko and that girl."

Jinx :"Y-you're sure she won't leave, right?"

Slathilia, grabbing her hand :"I'm sure, baby. The only reason why she even got the idea of coming here was because of that bitch. Vi wants to see you, but she just wants to get that Gemstone they stole back. She doesn't know we can have as many as we want thanks to me, so she's relieved now."

Jinx, gritting out :"That fucking bitch... she's just a parasite who wants to take Vi away! And that moron Ekko is just believing her lies!"

Slathilia :"That's right. So we have to do something. I already have my plans in motion. Now we just have to convince Vi. But don't worry, I'm sure she'll change her mind."

Jinx :"I hope so..."

Slathilia, elbowing her gently :"C'mon, cheer up! When have I ever lied to you about these things? I'm sure everything will turn out just right. I'll make it so. Even force it so. So what are you gonna do after Vi comes back to us?"

Jinx, smiling and daydreaming :"I don't know. Maybe we should hit Jericho's. She always loved his food. Hahaha I bet she already went there once when she got out."

Slathilia :"Hahaha definitely. Her appetite is the only thing that can match her temper."

Jinx :"Then... maybe bring that boxing machine to our cave? She always loved to train with it."

Slathilia :"Yeah, I bet she's gonna love my gym."

"And then..." As they sat, she continued listing off the things she planned or thought of doing when Vi came back. Slathilia treasured the scene. Jinx hugging her knees with a longing smile as she talked about what she wanted to do when her beloved sister finally returned. He couldn't help but lean against her, hugging her from the side as she leaned back.

After a while, he noticed the three of them, Vi, Caitlyn and Ekko, finally appeared on the bridge :"Look, they're here." Immediately catching Jinx's attention. Her eyes immediately shot to where they were, her breath hitching in her throat as she saw the sister she had missed so much. When Slathilia put his hand on her shoulder, she thought it was just for comfort. She smiled, but grew confused when she felt his biomass connecting to her.

"Don't worry, it's to heighten your senses." He explained :"Now let's listen." And so, they both shut up and turned to the three. With Slathilia's temporary enhancements to her senses, she easily heard what they were saying.

"Vi?" The black-skinned (A/N: nig-) boy, Ekko, with a white hourglass tattoo right on his face of all places, asked when Vi stopped walking. As he and Caitlyn looked at her questionably, she answered :"I can't leave her again."

Ekko :"You can't change her."

Vi :"I have to try."

Ekko :"... Don't get yourself killed."

Vi, hugging him :"No promises."

As she looked at Caitlyn, the bluenette came for a hug as well.

Vi :"It's been real, cupcake. Thanks. For everything."

As they stopped hugging, she started to wordlessly walk back the way she had come. Holding onto the bag containing the Hextech Gemstone, Caitlyn and Ekko started to walk towards Piltover. But a bright light lighted up in the dark night, making them cover their eyes as a voice came :"Halt!"

Ekko :"What the hell is this?"

Seeing Marcus, standing among the enforcers aiming their guns at them, Caitlyn showed her enforcer badge :"Sir, I have proof. Silco's behind everything." Silently ordering the enforcers to lower their guns, he walked towards her :"Show me."

"No." Ekko whispered to Caitlyn, but she simply insisted with a look. "Shit." Causing him to curse before opening the bag containing the Hextech Gemstone. But suddenly, he closed it as Marcus shot him in the chest with a handgun. Aiming at Caitlyn afterwards as he picked up the bag from Ekko's unmoving body. Hearing the shot, Vi immediately started running towards them :"Caitlyn!"

"I told you to leave this alone." Marcus whispered almost regretfully, aiming the gun straight at her face as Vi sprinted towards them. However, a sound suddenly shut everything up. A sound that stopped Marcus in his tracks. A sound that confused Vi. A sound that made the eyes of all enforcers go wide in fear.

A whistle.

But nobody could see where it came from. They simply heard it from around them. As if a ghost was whistling right next to them. "N-no... why is he here..." Marcus panted, fearful of his appearance because of the current situation. Right now, he wanted to see anybody but Silco and his monster.

The other enforcers also immediately aim their guns. Trying to find where the whistle was coming from. But to no avail. They simply looked around hurriedly, fear growing intenser with only the whistle being heard. But suddenly, there was another sound.

A chuckle.

A dark, evil chuckle. Accompanied by a large sniff, before a sigh of satisfaction was heard :"Ah, I just love the smell of fear!" Growing extremely deep at the end, simply causing everybody to shiver as Slathilia walked out of seemingly nowhere. "Hey, Marcus." He smirked at the man who was still aiming at Caitlyn.

Marcus :"W-what are you doing here?! Everything was going to be solved!"

Slathilia, chuckling :"Aww, somebody's nervous. Why are you so scared? Afraid to get your own hands dirty with someone's blood? An innocent one's?"

As the old enforcer stared at him, his chest heaving with his pants, Vi finally arrived next to Slathilia :"Thilia! What the hell is going on?! Oh god, Ekko!"

Slathilia :"Calm down, he's alive. This dumbass was too nervous to even shoot properly, so he just shot at Ekko's chest piece."

"Vi!" An excited shout came, along with the running steps of someone who Vi immediately recognized :"Powder!" Seeing the excited and happy smile of Jinx, Vi didn't even realize that she smiled as well. When she saw Jinx running towards her, her arms immediately opened as she hugged Jinx :"Oh, Powder!"

Jinx, happily :"You were here for me! You were actually here for me! :"You were about to come look for me!"

Vi :"Of course, Powder! I was here for you to begin with. How could I leave you again?"

"Enough! What is this?! Why are you two here!" Marcus shouted, interrupting their wholesome moment. Jinx was obviously mad, but just when she was about to shout at Marcus, another voice was heard :"Thilia? We came here as soon as I got your message."

Turning, they saw Silco, Sevika and some of Silco's goons walking towards them. As they stood some distance away, Slathilia smirked :"Oh, hey, Silco. You're just in time for the show. Just sit back and relax, you'll know why I called you here. I'm sure you'll love it."

Seeing that it was just Silco and the others, Jinx, still mad, turned to Marcus. But she immediately smiled when she saw the gun pointing at Caitlyn :"Oh, perfect! Marcus, be a dear and kill her already so we can all go home."

Vi :"No! W-what are you saying?! We have to save her! Hey, drop the gun, asshole-"

Jinx :"What, I'm obviously telling him to get rid of her!"

Vi :"Powder, Caitlyn's a friend-"

"Caitlyn is just a bitch who wants to use you! Can't you see it?!" Jinx shouted, getting out of the shocked Vi's hug :"She's here simply for that stone! When she gets it back to those asshole Counselors, she'll toss you back to Stillwater! Back to that prison you've been in. The one that has held you away for so long. Held you away from me."

Looking at the sad eyes of her baby sister, Vi's heart tightened as Jinx grabbed her hands :"I always thought you abandoned me, but now you're back. You don't need to throw away the chance we finally got. Everything can be solved if you just come with me. Come with us. Me, Thilia and you. Just like back then. She'll simply ruin it all. Vi, please."

"B-but... but-but... I..." Vi stuttered, her eyes shooting between her sister and Caitlyn. Switching between the scared and doubtful eyes of Caitlyn to the pleading and sad eyes of Jinx :"Sis, please."

"I... I..." She stuttered, her brain going a thousand miles a second while feeling like it had come to a complete stop. She didn't know what to do. On one hand, it was her sister. The only thing dear that she had left. The one that she would fight the world for. And on the other hand, was her friend. The one she had recently made. The one that saved her from prison that she could have rutted away in for the rest of her life. The one she was beginning to grow feelings for.

"Ugghh enough!" Marcus's shout suddenly came, interrupting the sisterly moment again :"We don't have time for your drama! What are you doing here?! I was about to handle her and finish the job before you interrupted!"

"Man, you've got no tact." Slathilia frowned, beginning to get annoyed with him. The poor sisters were having a moment, and he just liked to butt in every chance he got. But his frown was replaced with a smirk :"But you know what? Good thing you interrupted. Vi, you seem to have a hard time deciding, so let me help you with that. After seeing what's about to happen, I'm sure you'll have a very, very easy job choosing."

Marcus :"What? W-what's about to happen?"

Slathilia :"You know, Marcus, you've been a very good and useful... friend, let's call it. Things have always been a lot easier thanks to you. I'm grateful for that. But you see, you've always pissed me off. Thinking that you can change things, thinking that you can be some kind of a hero who saves the day, when the entire reason why you're in this fucked up years old mess is because you were one giant piece of shit."

Marcus :"What the hell are you talking about-"

Slathilia :"Remember how you always used to look down on folks of the Undercity? How you thought of them as trash under your foot? Remember how that exact mind set fucked up your entire life? Well, guess what? Now, that same Undercity is going to retaliate."

Marcus :"Wha-"

"Now, it's time to feast." Slathilia's Symbiote voice came out, before he took a deep breath, and let out a terrifying screech-roar that echoed through the entirety of the bridge, the Undercity, and Piltover. And followed by it, was the roars and screeches from throughout the two cities that seemed to answer to his calls, filling up the silent night.

Everybody was confused, looking around frantically. But the loud and numerous screeches from the two sides of the bridge that were hurriedly approaching caught their attention. And for most, their fear. Sounds of loud footsteps were heard rapidly approaching them, along with the screeches and roars.

"W-WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE?!" The enforcers shouted when the light shone on what was approaching. A hoard of numerous Symbiotic-Infected in all colors and sizes, all running towards them. Jumping from the towers of the bridge and approaching at a fast speed. Seeming to be a scene of hell as an apocalypse seemed to be running straight towards them.

They immediately raised their guns, not even bothering to aim before they all began to fire. However, no matter how many bullets they shot or how many Symbiotic-Infected they shot, it didn't seem to faze the sea of monsters at all. In fact, even the ones who were shot didn't even flinch. They simply kept running, sprinting towards them even when they had to get on all fours.

"Now, let the feast begin!"
