Trial of Skill

It didn't take long for Dawn, the Goddess, to explain the intricacies of the Class Advancement Trials to Ulysses. He listened intently as she revealed the few things he needed to take note of.

Even if he died during the trial, his beta play wouldn't end, but it would affect the quality of class he would receive. Dawn also mentioned that there could be multiple trials, which could be advantageous, as it gave him a choice of the type of class he wanted to obtain.

"With your permission, I'll send you to your trial," Dawn said. Her physical presence felt more than ever before. Unlike their last meeting, where she had merely seemed like a holographic image with her voice transmitting to his mind, Dawn now stood before him, radiating power and grace.

Ulysses wondered why she had manifested herself. Perhaps it was because not many had reached the point of class advancement.

"Alright then," Ulysses said, bracing himself for what was to come.
