Wildheart estate

The Wildheart estate was in view, it was a large place with multiple different building all serving various purpose, there was one that looked like a office building, a building resembling barracks, some residential building, there was even a gymnasium, it was like a small city inside of a bigger city. 

There were many people going about their chores inside the estate, some were mundane, some dormant, there were even a few initiate's going about their day. 

This was what a pro hunter's compound looked like, it wasn't as grandeur as the Huntsman's Guild, but was striking nevertheless.

We got off near the gate where an Initiate was waiting for us, it was the person who wielded the great axe in the battle few days ago, unlike before he was wearing formal light suit. 

The Initiate escorted the three into the estate, they walked past the residential houses, the office buildings, the path was paved with gravel and had a line of well kept foliage on the side, it looked nice, soon the reached the gymnasium it was a large square building with a dome on top. It was mainly used for training and was the main where the hunters hung out.

The three of them followed the initiate and entered the gymnasium, it looked huge from the inside, there were two stories of rooms to the corner of the building and an arena built in the middle, there was currently someone training there, it was the Sentinel Donnes and his sister Yuna.

The girl was using a two handed claymore, while the Sentinel was using a wooden straight sword, like the one Kei was using in the academy, despite the disparity Donnes was not at a disadvantage, Yuna struck him with a barrage of attacks using precise footwork and leverage of her weapon, she clearly had been trained in wielding the sword but Donnes was blocking the hits with ease, even though he was using a wooden sword, it didn't break, the wooden sword seemed like it was made from solid steel, it didn't even seem to receive a nick or crack.

Yuna took a step forward and did a horizontal slash which Donnes parried with his sword and then brought his sword down at her head, then lightly tapped it.

"There, I've hit you twelve times, your defense is still lacking, you should not neglect it you know, I don't want my sweet sister to get hurt" 

"phht" Yuna pulled her lounge out mocking rudely then proceeded to walk out and went to one of the gymnasium rooms.

 Finally the Sentinel noticed us and gave us a welcome, 

"So, you are finally here, come lets talk about how you will be mentored, give me one sec. Take them to the meeting room"

We were taken to the one of the rooms on the second floor of the gymnasium, this was the meeting and strategizing room of the Hunters. The room was well lit, there was a window looking over the arena, in the middle of the room there was a large table with multiple chairs, in the middle of the table there was a map of Liburn and its surrounding areas. 

On the map the city of Liburn could be seen encompassed in a green circle, this was a green Zone, the zones are basically areas showing the spread of Gate's and known location of gate creatures, a green zone meant very few gates open here, mean while red zones were places where many gates were open or could open and are usually the most hunted by pro hunters, finally there are black zones, these are not directly related to the Gates rather its more related to the Tier of gates or Creatures that dwell in that are, even the strongest Sentinel's don't go there without risking their lives.

After making Kei and his friends wait for a few minutes Donnes finally came back, he was wearing a simple shirt, but his features were highlighted giving him the look of a warrior.

Donnes gestured them to gather around the table and look at the map,

"As you know there are countless red zone outside the city, Raizo and his party went East to check on some disturbance caused by a new gate creature appearing, there in one of the red zones they discovered something weird, a Gate opened in a lake"

"But gates can open anywhere even inside water, isn't that why the ocean is so dangerous" Chrome questioned

"No, that's not the weird part" Donnes said "There wasn't a lake there before"

"Wait how" Kei asked 

"I don't know maybe the lake is an illusion, or its moving, we don't know because Raizo's party couldn't go close to it, there is a S rank Horror class creature inside the lake its probably the boss, its minions were seen populating the lake and its surroundings"

"A Horror and S rank?" Kei exclaimed 

Understandably so, he has never seen a Horror class creature, only heard about them, and how absolutely deadly they were, it was said that Horror's were mini calamities, and on top of that a S rank one.

"Wait are you telling us were going to hunt that" Kei said with a contorted look on his face

'Surely he is not crazy, right?'

"NO, no we will not be hunting a Horror, let the Gaurdian's take care of that, the appearance of the horror has scared away lower class creatures out from the red zones and they are entering the green zones near the City our task is to make sure that they don't come near Liburn. So, in short, we are pest control" Donnes said smilingly

"There are a bunch of creatures coming near Liburn, the closest of them are a small group of creatures led by a Fiend, I'll deal with it and my team will deal with the monsters so you three get to deal with the small fries"

"What do you say, perfect for your first hunt, right,, well anyway pack up anything you may need and meet me at the gates"
