Trap

It was indeed the female survivors who had been abducted!

They were firmly fixed to the walls by cobwebs, with only their heads exposed, their mouths also sealed with spider silk, writhing in pain.

Their eyes rolled back, showing the whites, seemingly having fallen into unconsciousness.

"Save me..."

A woman at the back said in a weak voice.

This voice sounded exactly like that of the large spider.

"Be careful, it might be the monster! That big spider can make this sound!" 

Howard and Quinn had also arrived and cautioned from behind.

"Spiders can mimic human speech?"

Raven paused, signaling the soldiers who were going forward to be cautious.

"They are survivors, still alive!" 

A soldier excitedly whispered back.

"Good, rescue the survivors from the webs, take them downstairs, and tell the driver team to get ready, we're evacuating immediately!" 

Raven spoke into the radio.
