After getting the call from Anna, Nathan's guilt acted up again. He really regretted sending his mother to that man in the first place. He was frustrated though and he was desperate, after his mother deliberately destroyed his marriage and made him miss so many important firsts in his daughter's life just because she didn't approve of their marriage, he was bitter and he was torn. He loved his mother but she had crossed the line.
He was wrong to do such a thing, his father wasn't mentally stable to begin with and he was a heartless bastard that enjoyed the pain of others, he could imagine the kind of pain the man must've have put his mother through before Anna got there.
"Is something wrong?" Shola asked noticing his downcast expression.
"The old madam is currently with Anna," Nathan sighed. He massaged his forehead and tried to ease the headache that he knew was coming.
