Talking with Miyako Shikimori

I get slightly irritated when I hear the sound of knock on the door. Why are there so many visitors today?!

"Come in." I said with slight irritation in my voice.

"Um, sorry. Was it the wrong timing?" After opening the gate slightly, a pink haired girl peeked inside, hiding most of her body behind the door.

"Ah, it's you. Take a seat." All my tensions immediately relax the moment I see her face. It was none other than Miyako Shikimori, my childhood friend and probably my favourite person in this world.

"So it's really you! I thought it was just someone with the same name." Miyako entered and said. There was slight annoyance in her voice, maybe because I didn't immediately talk to her yesterday.

"Okay okay, I'm sorry. I should have talked to you yesterday. You played well yesterday." I sighed and apologised to her.

"Ofcourse I played well. I am the best." She said with a proud look.

She walked near me and I stood up. I hugged her tightly.

"I missed you." I whispered while hugging her tightly.

"I missed you too... But can you please loosen your grip, I am not able to breathe." She said with a shaky voice.

"Oh sorry. I was just excited to meet you again." I loosened my grip but didn't stop hugging her. She was also tightly hugging me.

For a few minutes, we both stayed like that. Without any words, or any movements, we both silently enjoyed each other's presence.

Finally I let go of her.

"Would you like to have some tea?" I ask with a sweet smile. My face radiated, not lust or any other feeling, but instead pure innocent affection.

"Y-Yes." She too got out of her daze and nodded her head. There was a slight blush on her face as she remembered what she just did. Even though her feelings of missing izanagi was too much and she wanted to hold him tightly, she didn't expect that her body would actually do it.

I walked towards the table and poured a cup of tea for both of us. She sits on the couch and took the cup of tea in her hands.

"What were you doing all these days? You didn't even visit me once!" Miyako finally started asking me with anger and sadness.

"You know it right? I didn't even get a chance to get out of my house. I was taught in a foreign school and on all holidays I just had to do more studies. My father didn't even let me visit Japan once." I also started taking out all the tension I had in my mind and started relaxing.

Since she was sitting beside me, I wrapped my hand around her shoulders and pulled her closer to me. With her head resting on my shoulder, I placed my head on her head. 

Miyako immediately blushed furiously on this sudden intimate contact. We used to do it very often when we were kids, and I still didn't feel any list towards her, so I didn't understood her embarrassment. I kept hugging her.

"U-Um, izanagi. Did you find a girlfriend in foreign." When she said this line, I felt the temperature of the room drop quickly.

It was at this moment that I remembered a really old promise I made with Miyako.

~flashback~

~Time before izanagi went to foreign~

Time - 10:00 AM

"NO!!! I WON'T LET GO OF HIM. HE WILL STAY WITH ME." A young version of Miyako was tightly pinning me down to the ground. There were many bodyguards surrounding us. They were all panicking and trying to get Miyako off me.

"Don't touch us or I will break all your noses too!!" Miyako had already punched one of the bodyguard and literally smashed his nose. That was also why none of the bodyguard were trying to get her off me using force.

"Miyako, calm down. I will be back to visit you soon." I rubbed her head and tried to calm her but she didn't even loosen the grip even a little bit.

"Kuh! Atleast loosened he grip a little, I am unable to breathe!" I said to her with a pained expression.

"Ah! I-I'm sorry..." She apologized with lowered head and loosened the grip a little.

"Don't worry. I will come back to meet you when you are in high school." I reassured her and wiped her tears.

"B-But... What if you go and forget about me in the future?!" She asked with a worried face.

I laughed lightly and said, "as if. If I have to forget about you, I would first forget about everyone else first."

"Mhh!! And if you find some beautiful girl in foreign and she stops you from meeting me?!" She continued crying.

What? Did she watch too many drama anime shows? How did she even come to such a thought?

I shook my head at her words.

"Then let me make a promise with you. When I finally come back from foreign, when we are in high school, I will make you my very FIRST girlfriend in this life." 

I emphasized on the word "first" because both me and Miyako knew that as the male hier of shinomiya group, I will need to have many wives and concubines to give birth to the perfect hier for shinomiya group. Even my father had 5 wives and 20 concubines.

Her face turned bright red after hearing my words. She lifted her hand up and pointed her little finger towards me.

I wrapped my little finger around her finger and gave her a reassuring smile.

Finally she let go of me and I was able to get to foreign.

~present time.~

Time - 10:00 AM.

"U-Um, izanagi. Did you find a girlfriend in foreign." She asked, her tone ice cold.

Yep. The room temperature definitely dropped by atleast a few degrees. Even the cup I was holding felt cold even though I just poured hot tea in it.

"What do you think? With my face isn't it quite easy for me to get a girlfriend?" Instead of answering her question, I decided to tease her.
