Chapter 47 Perspective battles

Whitebeard: " So he also possess the quality of a king."

Sengoku: " As if we didn't have enough trouble with Whitebeard."

Sera summoned four pairs of wings as she quickly glanced at Paul: " Captain, I'm going!"

Paul nodded his head as he knew that Sera could no longer hold back.

Daz: " I'm heading out too."

Daz was also excited for the opponents he can fight here. After his fight with Pica, he has seen the progress of his strength and after training and thinking more about his skills, he wants to fight even stronger opponents.

Paul looked at the rest of his teammates. Robin may have history with Aokiji, but it wasn't a blood feud. Wukong was waiting for his orders to go cause havoc. Since he hasn't been part of the crew for a while, he doesn't really know how things work when it comes to battles. Vlad was staring at Whitebeard and his commanders this whole time.

Paul smiled and chuckled a bit seeing Vlad. He knew that Vlad wants to test his strength on Whitebeard. Paul said, " Vlad, did you want to give it a shot? Make sure you introduce yourself, I don't want you dying haha."

Vlad nodded immediately and quickly went to go find a navy soldier to suck some blood. After a brief moment, he had already consumed some blood, and immediately came forwards to the front of Whitebeard.

Vlad made a brief bow, " My name is Vlad Redfield, son of Patrick Redfield. I would like to test out my strength against the man who's strength was on par with my father."

Whitebeard laughed as he heard the person introduce himself, " Patrick Redfield? You got it wrong. It was his strength that was on par with mine and Rogers."

Paul gave a wry smiled as he didn't know whether to laugh or not when he heard that. Isn't that the same thing?

Vlad immediately transformed to the full form of his devil fruit ability. He then took out his sword and covered it in haki. He then flew high in the air and then started flying down gaining a tremendous amount of momentum. " Red clash" His body was covered in his red blood aura. It wasn't known if this was the result of his devil fruit or the high speed of his attack from the air. Just as Vlad was about to reach Whitebeard, Vista appeared.

Vista: " It's too early for you to fight against the Pops, Red Demon."

Paul laughed as he saw the intervention, " hahaha, that's enough Vlad. It's too chaotic here. Let's just save Ace, before the old man croaks and die. We'll fight with them later on when we get stronger." Paul looked around and continued, " Since it looks like Luffy has freed some prisoners from Impel Down, your dad might've escaped too. Haha."

Vlad jumped down and landed by Paul, he then immediately looked at Paul and then at the area. He then shook his head as he only saw low class pirates here.

Paul: " Now then, everyone do as you like hahaha. "

Paul also started to transform to his upper limit for his devil fruit. Paul grew two feet bigger as his muscles expanded and his body started to transform into that of a miniature dragon. Although his devil fruit powers was gradually adapting to his body, he consumed two of them. So although it is quite high, this only gave him more mastery of his elemental powers. Paul assumed that it won't be until he reached one hundred percent that he can turn into a full-scale dragon.

As Paul finished his transformation, he took a deep breath for a breath attack. Since he was still near Whitebeard's ship, who would dare to get too close except for the navy admirals and vice admirals. Paul took his time accumulating a massive amount of fire and lightning into his mouth to make a breath attack. As he gathered enough elemental energy, he condensed it even more as he added chakra into the attack.

Out of the people here. She was most familiar with Paul's attack as shew as one of the few that witnessed his powers.

Sengoku: " What? Breath attack?! Does he plan to attack the platform from there?"

As Sengoku had finished talking, he heard several navy soldiers scream as he looked and saw a large blast of fire and lightning heading their way.

Sengoku: " What? It wasn't just lightning? What else can he do?!"

Just as the blast was about to reach the platform, Akainu who has been sitting from the front of the platform this whole time, stood up and reached his hand out and blocked the attack. However, what Akainu didn't expect from the attack was that it was a lot stronger than it seems as it started to push him back. Akainu was then forced to use two hands to block the attack, only then could he not be pushed back. "HA" Akainu then pushed his haki to his limit and propelled the attack with haki, dispersing the attack. " Hmph. Is that all you got, Heavenly Dragon?" However, just as he said that, he saw two large balls flying at him. 'splash' The attack soon fell on him, drenching his body. " What the heck is this?!" He then looked towards the source of attack and saw that Paul was pointing towards him. " It was him?! He could also control water? What can he not do?!" He looked closer and saw several lightning circling around his arms and concentrating on his finger. His eyes open wide as he knew what was coming, " Not good" He tried to move his body but found it a little difficult to move. He then started to circulate his logia body to evaporate the water from his body quickly, however he was a little to slow, 'chi' Lightning soon flew out of Paul's finger and came towards him at a fast rate. Akainu's body soon was filled with electricity coursing through his body. " URGH!!!" Akainu's body began to twitch from the pain of electricity. " HEAVENLY DRAGON!!!"

Paul chuckled as he saw Akainu's anger. Akainu plays as a major role in this war as he was the one who killed Ace and injured Whitebeard to a large extent. Paul's goal was to keep him busy as Luffy will be able to manage to save Ace on his own.

Akainu then flew out of his seat and rushed towards Paul at a fast pace with most of his body turning into magma. Since Akainu had the element of Magma, although water may be a little weaker to magma, it will still give him the advantage and allow Paul to slow him down even if Akainu has superior strength. Paul immediately coated his arms in haki and used water to flow into his arm and body. He also flew forwards to meet Akainu and clashed against Akainu's fist with his own.

Akainu gritted his teeth, " Water? You caught me by surprise from before. Don't think that water can stop me."

Paul smiled as he heard Akainu, " Well I'm here to keep you busy so let's have some fun. HAHAHA!"

Navy grunt: " No way. He is able to fight against Admiral Akainu. AAHHH!!"

Several navy soldiers and pirates was blown away as Akainu and Paul began their clash. However, if you look a little closer, Paul was barely managing himself against Akainu. With Paul's advanced haki and water element, he is just barely keeping up with Akainu's strength. Paul knew that he would be at a disadvantage. He assumed that maybe when is strength reaches the upper one hundreds, he would be able to fight with Akainu and be on par. If he wants to completely defeat Akainu, then he would need to be in the low or mid two hundred. However, this is just an assumption of his. He wished that his system would calculate his opponent's strength but is also glad that it didn't as it will allow him to strengthen and test his strength instead of just relying on the system to gauge his opponents.

Sera: " Kuma!!"

Sera had appeared before Bartholomew Kuma instantly and started in intense clash. However, with each hit, Bartholomew Kuma, blocked the attack with his palm that has transformed into that of a paw.

Sera: " Bartholomew Kuma, was I the only one that you sent flying?! Answer me! What happened to my soldier!! Why did you listen to the World Government. Although you are a shichibukai, you don't have to listen to every word!!"

However, Kuma's response only gave her a blank face and no answer. It seemed as if he was a emotionless robot. This only enraged Sera even more, as she had only thought that Kuma looked down on her. Sera immediately summoned another pair of wings further increasing her strength. However, even this increase in strength and haki didn't do much against those padded palms as it easily defected her attacks. Seeing her attack landing nowhere, she flew up into the air as she conjured fire balls from her wings and sent out several of them. However, what was different with this holy flames this time was that it burned hotter and fiercer than before, it was the result of her training with chakra. Sera sent out several holy flames attack at Kuma at a fast pace and made it faster and faster covering the area where Kuma stood. However, Kuma also reacted fast and deflected several of the holy flames that injured allies and pirates alike, filling the area in bright red holy flames. Suddenly in the mist of this attack, Sera appeared at the side of Kuma who was still deflecting the attacks and launched a hard kick filled with haki and anger and successfully landed a powerful blow on Kuma, sending him flying and crashing against the stone walls.

Amidst the debris that Kuma had been sent flying to, a bright light began to show 'beep' a light beam soon came out of the debris and towards Sera. However, Sera knew that the last attack wouldn't take out Kuma and prepared before hand and covered her wings in haki and covered herself, shielding herself from the light beam. 'boom' As the beam hit Sera, a small explosion occurred however, Sera came out unscathed.

At the same time, Daz has finally made his way towards Mihawk and clashed against him.

Mihawk: " Daz Bonez, the Dark Assassin."

Daz smiled, " Nice to finally meet. I've been wanting to clash against the strongest swordsman since I started on my path of swordsmanship."

Daz covered his whole body as he turned several parts of his body into steel blades. Since meeting Paul, his whole world and view has changed on his strength and his ignorance of his devil fruit ability. Unlike regular swordsmen who only used one side of a blade, his whole body can turn into a blade, so Daz used his arms, legs, shoulders, back, etc.

This was also a new experience for Mihawk. It felt like he was fighting a blade itself. However, as the strongest swordsman, he was easily able to handle Daz.

In the meantime that this was happening, Vlad and Wukong was facing off against several Vice-Admirals. Vlad was branding his sword against Vice-admiral Momonga and Onigumo. Wukong was facing against Vice-admiral Dalmation. The two's battle was also intense as the two kept getting surrounded by the other navy soldiers during their fight.

As for Robin, she stood in between the two as she fended off any surprise attacks that may injure her crewmate.
