Chapter 168: Everyone's Changes

The Ancient One drew another portal, leading to the familiar scenery of Kama Taj. She gestured to Peter, "We may need to talk."

Peter, with many questions in mind, had no objection. He followed her through the portal and into the serene palace of Kama Taj. There, the Ancient One used magic to brew two cups of tea, which floated into their hands. She took a sip and said, "Try it. This tea is very good."

Peter drank it in one gulp and replied, "Then I should buy two kilograms later."

The Ancient One sighed, shaking her head. She decided to go straight to the point, "You probably already know that more than half a year has passed since you left."

Peter nodded, "I went to another universe. Although the time span of the two universes is slightly different, the difference is not significant. But I didn't expect there was still a hand left here."

He referred to the matter of the forgetting magic. Regarding the time flow between the Marvel and DC universes, it would remain unstable until a complete link was established. The next time he returned, dozens or even hundreds of years might have passed there, or it could only be a few days or hours.

When it came to the issue of forgetting magic, the Ancient One's usually calm and wise expression became more solemn. "Black Superman, Peter Parker, can you tell me why that person suddenly appeared that day and took action against you?"

If Peter hadn't suddenly come back today and if the Ancient One hadn't mentally used the Time Stone to look through the relevant timelines, she might not have discovered that the memory of the entire life on Earth had been overwritten. "Tony Stark," Peter answered without hesitation.

The Eye of Agamotto quickly displayed a holographic projection of Tony's past six months. After the Battle of New York, Tony became a hero who saved the Earth, gaining countless fame, wealth, and honors. However, the past six months had been tough for him. Only he knew how much pressure he faced. The scene of eternity coming left an indelible shadow in his heart, and even though he lost that part of his memory, some indescribable fear lingered.

Tony felt anxious, depressed, and fearful that the indescribable threat might return. This led to his frantic building of an army. Chitauri technology became his nourishment, and his steel mecha underwent iterative upgrades, giving him a true steel army. The scale was several times larger than in "Iron Man 3," and the combat power had generally been upgraded. Still, he was not satisfied. Fear had taken hold, leading him to study magic and technology, trying to find a way to combine them. He was going down the path of Doctor Doom.

However, his progress in magic was slow. The Ancient One, the leader of Earth's mages, did not lend a helping hand.

Peter looked at Tony's crazed efforts and felt curious about his future development. Another Doctor of Destruction who combined technology and magic had climbed to the position of God King.

The Ancient One then showed the records of other partners one by one. Shortly after the Battle of New York, Thor ran back to Asgard with Loki and the Tesseract. Banner struggled with the Hulk but still kept in touch with friends. Felicia, still a popular superhero, enjoyed her life, often spending time with Gwen. Connors remained committed to the development of biological serum and even found a girlfriend.

As for Harry... Peter was quite surprised.
