Mission

(AN: this is the first mission naruto will go on.)

Waking up with a groan Naruto shut off the alarm and slowly got up. "Five more minutes." Came a feminine sleepy tired voice as Naruto felt the grip on him tighten.

"Shhh go back to sleep." Naruto soothed her as he kissed her forehead and used a clone and body flicker to get out. Slowly getting dressed in his anbu garb he grabbed his mask and put it on the side of his head. Putting the chakra tanto he got from his godmother in the sheath on his lower back. Than strapping his mothers katana on his back. Storing a few empty seals in his chest plate as well as two storage scrolls. One was marked *anko's special pleasure tools* while the other was a premade storage seal with nothing in it. Walking out of the bedroom and out into the living room naruto spotted haru in the kitchen with rumi on the couch. "mornin haru, rumi."

"Hmm oh mornin." Came rumi's tired response

"Mornin ruto." Came haru's as he fixed breakfast.

Looking up at the clock Naruto saw *5:30* than asked "why do we have to wake up so early we don't leave till 8:00?"

"Mission briefing." Rumi answered

"And why are you up so early?" Naruto asked while looking at rumi.

"Fell asleep with him in me and woke up with him pulling out." Rumi answered without any shame.

"Ah I see. I always try to pull out before goin to sleep. Makes it so I can just swap with a clone in the morning." Naruto replied

"Smart, I'll try and do that in the future." Haru answered

"Than be ready to receive memories of your clone eating me out." Rumi responded with a smile

"Oh ya that's an almost daily occurrence." Naruto added

Stopping for a second haru looked as if he had an epiphany. "So that's why you'll randomly get a bonner around nine." He spoke

"Yup." Naruto answered dryly.

"Hmm…eh not that big of a deal I'll start leaving a clone." Haru debated to himself. "Anyways breakfast is ready come and eat."

*later hokage office*

"Hokage-sama" came three voices.

"At ease you three." Came the hokages response as fox, lion, and owl relaxed a little bit didn't get up from their kneeling position. "Now your mission will be guarding team seven from threats the genin can't handle. Kakashi get in here…" as he finished a silver haired and masked jonin came in through the window. "Kakashi will be leading the mission and is the strongest here so defer to him. Kakashi why don't you explain the strength of your team so they can judge who to let through and who not to."

"Yes hokage-sama…" came kakashi's lazy drawl. "Sasuke is low chunin and on the edge of becoming mid chunin level. His strengths are taijutsu and fire ninjutsu. Sai is a root anbu so his level is solid jonin. He's starting to show more emotion, but still loyal to Danzo so watch him…." Than he paused thinking over his next words. "Sakura well she's still a fangirl who thinks sasuke will always be there to save her." Kakashi sighed out tiredly getting pitying looks from the others in the room. "Finally haku, she is low jonin level and is an ice release user. She can use senbon to a scary and deadly degree, and also has above average taijutsu. She and sasuke are in a romantic relationship."

As he finished the hokage added "sasuke uchiha and haku yuki are your top priority for keeping safe. They are both the last of their clans within konoha."

"Yes hokage-sama" the three anbu replied.

Than pulling out a map the hokage stated "there have been a few bandit sightings within the land of valleys. They might have some rouge chunin or jonin within them. You can let team seven deal with the bandits and any rouge genin or low level chuninbut you will deal with any mid level chunin or above. After reaching the edge of the land of valleys you will meet with a kiri team. They will escort you to kirigakure, we don't know much about the situation within the land of mist, just that there was a civil war and the rebels won. Kill any who attack you or team seven, capture leaders and interrogate them." Getting nods from the anbu in front of him he nodded to himself. "Fox this will be your first mission don't disappoint." He spoke lightly

"Don't worry hokage-sama I won't let you down." Fox replied determined as a fire lit in his eyes.

Smiling the hokage looked up from the anbu and at the door. "Let team seven in." As he finished speaking the doors opened revealing four people.

"Hokage-sama." They greeted

"Ah team seven I just got done briefing your anbu escort." The hokage greeted back

"We don't need them sasuke-kun will beat anyone up." Sakura announced.

"By the log she's worse than I remember." Fox whispered to both kakashi and the two anbu next to him.

"Ya shes definitely worse." Owl commented while lion nodded.

"I pity you captain." Lion whispered to kakashi who had a more tired than usual look in his eye.

"Why not do what dragon-sama did to ino." Fox asked

"Somehow her mother got word of it and bitched to the council, so now I can't." Kakashi responded

"There will be at least one bandit camp on our way through the land of valleys. We can just show her what happens in bandit camps and what happens to the weak. Also there are a shit ton of pirates in the mist waters. Could show her a bit of the slave trade." Owl suggested

"Hmm good idea can you find a camp or slave outpost while we go." Kakashi asked

"Sure, fox send clones to investigate bandit camps, and owl use your eyes to look for any underground slave rings." Lion ordered.

"…and that's your mission." The hokage finished as team seven and haku nodded. "Now your anbu escort will be anbu captain lion and two of his teammates owl and fox. We picked them due to their recon and combat abilities."

"But the fox one doesn't look any older than us." Sakura whined.

Sighing kakashi spoke "there are people younger than me yet way stronger the same goes for you as well."

"What how can that be possible no kid can be stronger than me a real shinobi." Sakura shot back arrogantly.

Looking more amused than mad the hokage spoke. "Hmm than hopefully this shows you how wrong you are." The hokage replied as a figure dashed in through the window.

*Clang*

"Shit"

*crash*

"Owwww" came a younge and childish voice.

"Hmm you've already been training hard huh kono." The hokage stated as he looked at the form of his grandson who was stuck within the wall, as fox stood next to him.

"Yes his taijutsu has improved." Fox added as he put away his kunai.

Getting out of the wall konohamaru stared at fox with wide eyes filled with recognition, surprise, and amazement. But before he could speak fox whispered into his ear. "Shhhh not now." As he ruffled his hair.

While Sakura and sasuke had wide eyes filled with surprise. "I barely even saw them move." Sakura stated.

"I could, the kids good middle to high genin level." Sasuke added as he looked at the kid and the anbu.

"I'm with Duckbutt on this one." Sai stated as he threw a calculating look at the anbu.

"See Sakura the kid is younger than all of us yet is stronger than you." Haku added in her kind and gentle voice, but there was a tinge of smugness within her eyes.

"So what are you doing here kono?" The hokage asked

"I uhh well I wanted to show you how strong I am, and that I'm ready to graduate." Konohamaru stated

Still ruffling his hair fox spoke. "You may be strong enough to graduate but remember who you are. Your the hokages grandson and that other thing so you need to be at least mid chunin before we let you out."

Sighing and looking down konohamaru nodded. "Alright…" than getting an idea he asked "than can you help teach my friends fox-sensei, they'll be my genin teammates."

"Oh and how do you know that?" Fox asked

"My friends are the grandchildren of grandpa's teammates so we will form a team like they did." Konohamaru answered

"Ah I see so like the ino-Shika-cho trio huh?" Fox asked looking at the hokage who just nodded. "Makes sense if it ain't broke don't fix it." Than thinking for a few seconds fox responded "I'm fine with that the stronger you three are the better, just go ask ebisu for permission as well."

"Alright I will fox-sensei." Konohamaru replied before jumping out the window.

"Hmm now that that's over your dismissed, and good luck." The hokage stated

"Thank you hokage-sama." They replied before leaving.

"Hmm they grow up so fast." Stated a familiar voice from the shadows.

"Yes they do, don't they." The hokage added. "Is he really ready though?"

"Yes more than ready." The voice stated as dragon stepped out of the shadows.

"Think Danzo knows that he's in anbu." Asked hiruzen

"More than likely." Dragon replied getting a nod from the old man.

"Hmm my old friend has fallen…." Hiruzen stated as he slowly got up

Snorting dragon replied as they started to leave. "No shit old man, I'll deal with him soon once I know what's coming."

Looking down sadly hiruzen nodded "I…understand." As he looked out over his village. "If only I was stronger like you tobirama-sensei…..if only." As he closed his eyes.

*unknown location*

"I see so sai is going on a mission with the jinchuuriki to kiri." An old emotionless voice called out

"Yes Danzo-sama." A blank masked anbu responded

"Tell sai to observe him. We don't know of the weapons capabilities." Danzo stated

"Yes Danzo-sama." The anbu responded as they disappeared.

"Fu, Torune." Danzo spoke as two anbu appeared next to him. "When you get a chance capture the yuki, we will breed her to give birth to loyal soldiers not traitorous uchiha."

"Yes Danzo-sama." They replied as they disappeared

Walking over to his seat Danzo sat in it. Looking out as the shadows of the room covered the half of his face covered by bandages. "Soon hiruzen I will have your seat and bring konoha to its rightful place and rule this world." He spoke with eyes full of hatred.
