Chapter 15

Today is, half day in the school as all teachers are busy in the preparation of annual day festive. So, we have no classes after lunch that's why, me and Erik sitting in the canteen and relaxing. My all friends are busy, as they are thinking to go and spend some time outside but I make an excuse saying I have some work to do, though saying this hurt me as I don't want to but my leaving will hurt Erik as and for me making Erik smile or laugh become an important goal.

We both sitting in the canteen, he is busy in drinking his cold drink and me with a juice glass. though I am not drinking it as I am just lost in my thoughts which are involved with something like..

Siya: (I know all what is I am doing right now just to make Erik smile or laugh, started with my sincere determination but I don't know when it turned into my obsession and yeah I am aware about it but I don't know how to stop it. Sometimes I really wish to have Ani or someone else who could have stopped me or understood and saved me from all this happening. I am really going to loose my mind, and may be crossing my limits to. But it just that something is really out of controlled and I am helpless stuck in it).

Erik sudden voice bring me back from my thoughts,

Erik: Let's go out and roam around?

Siya: But nearby there is no place for roam around. Where we would go?

Erik: Umm, there is a doll house near by, we can go and see that. What say?

Siya: (sarcastically) really?

Erik: (Hesitantly) ye.. yeah is there anything wrong in it. Have you been there before? I have never seen it.

Siya: No it would be my first time there too. Okay let's go.

We leave the school with our bags and more likely walk for less than 1km, we reached doll house. There is no ticket taking system, though guard ask us to keep our bags by the counter and they would be remained safe here and we got agree. While we keeping our bag there, we took our water bottle outside and our wallets too. I give my bag to guard first and when we looked at Erik he said,

Erik: Excuse me, I would be back in a minute.

Siya: but...

Erik: shhhh, Please

Before I could say anything more he just ran outside the gate and I was like did he just shhh me. The idiot boy, He cam back in 5 minutes and waiting for someone usually pissed me off but what can I say to him as he would got hurt. But when he come near I notice few changes in him those are he is smelling different, though when we leaved from school he didn't applied any scent on him but now it is there secondly his look slight red which is strange. Though I choose ignored it as I thought may be it just my imagination. He give us his bag to the guard and we go in the house.

And to be honest as we stepped in, I start getting bored as I am someone who like open places more or something which is a replica to nature. Basically I like to stay close to nature, and this is more like a large window cabin house which has colorful dolls in it from around the world. However, the moment we enter I start noticing changes in Erik behavior, though it could be my overthinking too but somehow I am unable to ignore his red eyes, shaky steps, lazy behavior. He bring me back from my thoughts and initiated the conversation in his slurred voice.

Erik: when I was small, my dad once bring me to the doll house. So, when I find about this place, I wanted to visit here to check that may be I could bring back some memories. But I have no memories left I guess.

Siya: ohh okay. But I once heard memories stays in our mind somewhere, we just need to concentrate hard and we would found them. You can also try, close your eyes and try to concentrate may be you can find them.

Surprisingly, he heard me and closed his eyes but his body is shacking so, I asked him to open eyes and don't do that as he is loosing his body balance. He does what I said, and with smirk he said something which not only shock me but make me feel disgusted.

Erik: the thing which I used to take, gives me the feeling of euphoria and body feels like floating that's why I am out of balanced now.

Siya: What is it?

Erik: weed

Siya: ohh okay. (shit yr, where I am stuck at. He not only drinks alcohol but abuse drugs too. Is helping him safe? But I always wanted to try these things would it be fine to be with him and have some fun in this area? NO! this is complete bullshit, this side is complete dangerous what if curiosity kill the cat?)

Erik: (shaking me) Siya are you okay?

Siya: umm yeah

Erik: Have you ever tried drinking and drugs?

Siya: No

Erik: Want to?

Siya: Only drinking I want to try once

Erik: Okay I will make you try, with me

While we both were lost in talking, we didn't noticed we completed the tour of doll house. So, we head out to where the guard is, to collect our bags. Here before I can even pick up my bag, my phone buzzes off. I saw the name and smile widely, excusing myself I move outside the gate picking the bag up excitedly.

Zoe: Hey Si (she give me this nick name and I love it)

Siya: Hey Zoe

Zoe: come for lunch we are both waiting for you, feeling extremely hungry.

Siya: ooops sorry I forgot, will be there in 10 minutes.

As soon as I hang up the phone, I got engulfed in someone's warmth and it make me feel uncomfortable but I recognized it. I stand like robot and by not getting any reaction from my side plus not getting hug in return, Erik releases me but hold my hand, still I stand like a robot and not holding him back.

Erik: (Sincerity) promise me something you won't leave me ever like this again, I thought you won't be coming back to me and I got scared. ( he leave my hand)

Siya: (uhh not again what is this behavior) okay. But I have some work to do in school as one of the teacher called me so, I would be busy. See you tomorrow. Okay?

Erik: (hesitantly) Sure bye.

Siya: Bye.

With this I move ahead of him, took a sigh of relief and tired to reach school as soon as possible. So, that I can have my food with my friends plus they are waiting too. As I entered in the canteen, Ketty hugged me and Zoe too and we sit there and eat our food together with lots of talk and laugh. To be honest this becomes my real heaven, I just love to talk, laugh, and eat the food together, whether they are my family, friends and relatives but may be I am not right or I am that unlucky one who can never have this with my family.

However, soon our lunch got finished Zoe went for washroom and me and Ketty just sitting there and waiting for her to come back.

Ketty: So, how are you doing now days?

Siya: As usual boring yr

Ketty: And what about Erik? Are you okay and happy with him?

Siya: (Shocked and surprised) How do you know?

Ketty: whole school knows babes. So, what's up?

Siya: (After thinking a lot, I thought to share things about me and Erik) Umm He is weird, complex, complicated, aggressive, possessive person. He is into drugs drinking and used to say me I am his, he is touchy too, but I am uncomfortable. I think he is in too much pain, which I can see in his eyes and I just want to make his smile and laugh and nothing more.

Ketty: ohh okay but just be careful and I am here to be with you, whenever you need it, yeah?

Siya: (smiled) Yeah, off course

With this conversation ended and Zoe come too, we together leave the school and reached our respective home and texted "reached".
