A squad of 4 soldiers was commanded to go up first to scout out the cave, one guy named Haytham was leading that squad and was talking to one of the squad members named Muhamad saying "man, I hate caves" "why? You scared or something?" Muhamad joked, but Haytham didn't laugh, instead he was standing completely still, as if he's petrified.

His squad members were all confused till they heard water trickling and saw yellow clear liquid dripping from Haytham's pants, yes he pissed himself, he did that due to the amount of fear he was feeling. It wasn't normal fear like the fear of a certain thing or animal, no, this is the primal fear we're all born with, the fear of death itself, or should I say, himself? Hehehe😄

In the matter of seconds, those four soldiers experienced literal hell, first came fear, second was torture, third was dismemberment lastly [DEATH!]. He left their bodies in bits of blood and bodily fluids everywhere, and the monster that delivered them to their god was none other than Malik who slaughtered them in cold blood and has now gained black feathers growing from his shoulders and his eyes were +pinkish red+. He didn't enjoy what he did, he was ordered to do it, and like a good pet, he did it and will continue to do it.

Now, it's a matter of time before he turns the other two squads into paper shreds.

Khalid and Theo were on a different path due to the sergeant commanding them to go and flank the enemy while he and the other soldiers take the main path.

The ground beneath them was covered with white liquid, it was thick and had an iron-like smell to it. Theo couldn't believe what he was walking on, It was blood! He was sure of it! so sure, he told Khalid "This is all blood! It's white but I'm sure it's blood!" but saw he was walking with his eyes closed. Theo was confused and annoyed by his ignorance, so he poked him with the barrel of his gun shouting "LISTEN WHEN I TALK! YOU GIANT IDIO-" suddenly, Theo's AK was snatched from his hands and was broken in two by Khalid that angrily stated while looking at him with eyes filled with tears "YA FIRST MULAZIM, I AM NOT IN THE RIGHT STATE OF MIND TO BARE YOUR SHIT!" Khalid was secretly aware that the ground was indeed covered with blood but was suppressing that thought in the back of his mind.

Theo never saw him get pissed off before, it was kind of scary. So he kept his distance. Making sure to always keep a five feet space between him and Khalid. But that was a bad decision as he felt something brushing against the back of his foot. He jumped and pulled out his standard issue FN-Six Eight and started shooting randomly in the one-foot-deep blood they're in. Till he emptied a whole clip!

When that happened, his breathing was heavy, his shaking seemed to stop. but upon seeing a pair of white empty eyes pear from a spot in the blood pool straight at him before quickly disappearing beneath the white thick blood, Theo was terrified out of his mind as he ran to Khalid screaming "IT'S IN THE BLOOD! GET ME AWAY FROM THE BLOOD!" Khalid didn't understand what he was going on about, but suddenly, something bit his ankle and started dragging him away in the blood, it was as if he was moving on the blood, like an ice skater!

Khalid was flailing his arms around as the creature that has hold of his ankle was taking him in circles before coming to a sudden stop causing Khalid to pull his achilles tendon and groan in pain!

He had to kneel which the creature was expecting as his head was getting low, the creature appeared out of the thick layer of blood and jumped at Khalid which caught him by surprise!

While Khalid was getting attacked, Theo was running ahead of him saying "GOOD LUCK SHITHEAD, I'M OUTTA HERE!" Khalid struggled to keep the smooth creature from tearing his throat out. And then, a voice asked him in feminine tone "Who are you?" Khalid didn't understand as he didn't know exactly what the question was, but he felt something, like he could understand what she (the creature) meant by her question.

Without thinking, he spoke the word "إطلاق" and the creature stopped trying to attack him before puking out red blood and turning into a fetus that got absorbed into the white blood along with red blood leaving Khalid questioning what just occurred before his very eyes. But that soon faded as he heard a girly scream coming from the way Theo went so, he naturally went after his comrade.

Yousef and the other three soldiers walked the asphalt path; weapons drawn and ready. The air filled with the smell of rotten meat and blood and a hint of shit.

Yousef led the squad while looking smug and proud of it, while Isaa was on alert mode due to the amount of info they had about this group of terrorists. And Abdullah was debating whether he should take a shower tonight or just go straight to sleep, and as he was daydreaming, a long octopus prehensile shot from behind one of the soldiers; specifically, a soldier named Hamed.

It wrapped around his waist and took him as quickly as it shot out of the darkness of the cave. The group only heard his [SCREAMS!] before his head was thrown at Isaa that looked at it before asking Yousef "Permission to vomit sir" and Yousef ordered him "keep it in! This isn't over yet! ×turns to Abdullah× Jundi! I need you to protect our front! ×turns to face where Hamed got taken× I got this sea monster" and took off his helmet and pulled a small compact gun and loaded a capsule inside it before yelling and running towards the dark, towards the unknown. Only to come back an hour later with no clothes and suction marks riddling his bare body. He walked with pride and told his men "Now cubs, we advance" both Isaa and Abdullah asked him in a questioning tone "WHAT WAS THAT? HOW DID YOU KILL IT? WHY ARE YOU NAKED?!" but Yousef just grinned and kept walking like it was nothing.

As they stepped up to the metal door after silently knifing the door guards, Isaa stopped the sergeant from opening it saying "ookay! There's no way you're just going to act like nothing happened!" Yousef replied by shoving him to side smiling while saying "you want to bet on that ya mulazim?" but Abdullah pulled him back saying "but sir! We cannot fight an enemy that we do not know or understand. We would be at a great disadvantage if we rush in blind!" Yousef looked at him then at Isaa before telling them "If you survive this, THEY will tell you. As for now ×pushes the door open× let's give these fuckers a firsthand view at Arabia's finest!" and he went in, then Issa followed him along with Abdullah.

+Inside purgatory, 12:40 pm+

The whole place was filled with crates and machines along with people of different color and people who were just like Ahmed, and some who were just human.

Yousef told both Isaa and Abdullah "we start blasting them on my mark, and don't spare a single one of these hyenas" they nodded yes. Yousef waited till a guard came to them and he slit his throat using his combat knife before using him as a meat shield and spraying everyone in front him screaming "Fresh lead delivery from yours truly! ×shoots someone in the face× no returns!" Isaa started shooting the people that were trying to escape and Abdullah got the sinners that were trying to attack them from the rear.

Overall, they put up a great fight, killing over 50 armed personnel, 25 scientists and most of those numbers have sinners within them too so about 75 kills in total. They cleared out much of the main base, leaving only a handful of stragglers who ran deeper into the base. Through the blood and bodies of those 75 people I mentioned, Abdullah made his way towards a machine that had a computer poking out of it, he pulled out a small USB stick and stuck it in the right port causing the screen of the computer to turn black with blue code generating in rapid pace, both Yousef and Isaa watched Abdullah's computer skills shine as he managed to decrypt those lines of codes into a speech recording that he played, and it said this.

A recording was included with set of videos but Abdullah chose to only download them into his device that automatically sends them to HQ and not view them since Isaa was looking real spooked out by what he read, it mentioned that the project was a way to immortalize the human mind and heart in case of body degradation or loss of said body, the brain and heart will be extracted and then put in a different body, a bio engineered one. And if the project was a success, the mad doctor would be rich in both money and fame. He tested it on an 18-year-old girl and after he injected a crimson liquid into her heart, the teenage girl began showing signs of cardiac arrest, clutching of the heart, ceasing of movement and lastly death. The doctor waited a full hour before extracting her brain and heart, then he implanted those organs in a bio engineered body he dubbed "Eve". But even after he implanted those organs, Eve didn't move or speak. He thought he failed so he moved on to the next test subject.

And after wasting 4 innocent human beings to play God, He was going insane, he started taking more drastic measures in order to preserve their hearts and brains, stimulating them using electrical shocks and suspending them in glass jars filled with liquids.

Finally, it was the 5-year old's turn, she was scared and afraid of the mad doctor who wanted nothing more than to create his monster. She tried to run, hide, scream for help! But nobody came.

And the doctor had enough of her running and screaming so he sewed her mouth shut and killed her, like he did the others. But once he put her in the body of Eve, she started oozing white liquid that was thick like blood.

Suddenly, the doctor screamed out of fear and grabbed the scalpel that he used to cut the other 5 humans up and tried taking his own life. But SHE stopped him, and the only sounds that remained were teeth munching on meat.

That made Isaa's stomach turn, and he voiced his opinion "We need to get to the bottom of this" Yousef told him as he stole a pair of pants from one of the dead armored dudes "That's above your payroll Lieutenant ×pulls the pants on× just shoot who I tell to shoot, and maybe you'll make it out alive" Abdullah heard feet moving pretty fast, so he alerted the other two who are on the verge of arguing "enemies are closing in on our location! quit your childish quarrel and hide!" Isaa climbed up a crate that was rather big and Abdullah hid under some machine that was deactivated.

A small group of red skinned feral looking sinners with fangs, claws and collars around their necks arrived from a hall leading out the main base room.

Leading them was Sophia who was being carried by two strong, bulky looking sinners, she stated in a low and calm voice "you slaughter my subjects, my pets and my children." Yousef turned around to face her with a grin on his face as his eyes flickered cyan blue, like a robot's. "so ×points index finger at her× you're the head hyena? The leader of the left hand of the devil?" he asked Sophia, greeting his arrogant grin with a gentle smile "that would be me indeed, and who might you be? An intruder? A guest? a warrior of metal designed by mortal?" she asked. "oh no, I'm not any of that hyena ×pulls out a grenade× I'm the exterminator!" Yousef announced as he charged at her, the feral sinners started wildly coming at him, tearing away at his skin to reveal metal and iron under his skin, turns out he IS a robot, yeah, shit's crazy.

Anyway, they started eating away at his legs and left arm, but he just smiled with pride and the feeling of his mission coming to an end. He shouted as his lower body was getting torn "NEVER THROW YOUR LIVES AWAY FOR SOMETHING YOU'LL REGRET BOYS! BE LIONS! BE PRIDEFUL! YOU ARE SOLDIERS AFTER ALL EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE IS TO PROTECT YOUR COUNTRY! ×pulls grenade's pin× NEVER FORGET ME, MY LIONS!" With that, he lets the nade cook before throwing it at Sophia shouting "HOPE YOU BITE YOUR TONGUE ON IT!" but she just looked at him as her sinners scatter to shield their mistress. they surrounded her body with their own bodies and managed to lessen the impact of the explosion.

The whole base was shaking after the explosion, Isaa was alright since the explosion was far from him, about 6 meters away to be exact, and he was on an elevated area, so he only suffered from the deafening sound that occurs every time something loud stops suddenly. His ears rang basically, but nothing too major. As for Abdullah, he suffered from a piece of shrapnel that slid across his face giving him a nasty scar, and his right hand had a piece of shrapnel sticking from its side.

So, all in all, one guy is potentially fucked. As for Sophia and her sinners? They were blown away, specifically, SHE was blown away, that grenade packed enough boom to send anything around it to Allah's mercy. All that was left of Yousef was his face stuck onto the ceiling with his eyes flashing repeatedly before slowly going offline. Isaa climbed off the crate: almost falling on his back, and went to check the situation. He saw that the base's stability was deteriorating, meaning any second now, purgatory will fall on their heads!

He hurried to get Abdullah who was losing blood, he treated his face wound using PRBC and FFP in a 1 to 1 ratio. When the bleeding lessened, he carried him to the metal door, but it was still closed and it was heavy as shit. Isaa didn't know what to do but pray to Allah and hope someone will open it from the outside.

And his wish came true! Sorta true, someone did open it from the other side, but it was Malik. He sent fear into Isaa's soul, freezing his feet and causing him to sweat profusely. Isaa thought to himself "this isn't how I wanted to die! Not like this! I wanted to die fighting! Not pissing myself from fear!", he thought for sure Malik would kill them despite them knowing each other, he couldn't recognize him after his transformation though. He now has feathers crowning his head and along his arms, they were black and red tipped. It really brought out the red in his blood shot eyes.

Malik didn't pay any attention to Isaa and instead went to where Sophia was blown, leaving the two.

Isaa didn't know what just happened, but he didn't care, he just wanted out. Out of the madness, out of the nightmare. Out of this stupid cave of death and horror!

He passed through the door and started making his way out walking on the same asphalt road as before. Only to hear screaming echoing from the cave walls, he ignored it and continued forward.

Abdullah eventually regained consciousness as he opened his eyes to the darkness of the cave, the only light he saw was Isaa's glow stick that was orange in color.

He spoke in a weakened voice "did we, do it? Is it over?" Isaa told him "Not until we make it out, we can't be sure" Abdullah got off Isaa's arms and started following him slowly as they were making their way over the bone covered path.

Just when they could see the rising sun's rays shining through cave entrance, they heard running coming from behind them, and a shot went past Isaa and hit Abdullah in the shoulder knocking him down, Isaa got a glimpse of a pair of red glowing eyes and started getting angry.

He got out his G36 and started shooting at the shooter before a bullet grazed his left cheek, he kept firing however while screaming "I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOU DEMONS, I SAW WHAT YOU ARE AFRAID OF!" cue the doom music!

A shootout between him and the presumed demon occurred, lead was traded on both sides, then the shooter advanced enough to reveal it was Kathrine with pale skin and red eyes, she had apparently survived the attack on their base. She shouted at Isaa "YOU TWO ARE NOT GOING TO GET AWAY WITH HARMING OUR MISTRESS! ×shoots and misses× I WILL KILL YOU ALL AND EAT YOUR FLESH!" She sounded emotional for someone who turned into a monster just to avenge another monster.

But, you know what happens to those that seek vengeance, they die 😃. a bullet penetrated her skull as she was trying to shoot Abdullah who was defenseless on the ground. as the bullet travelled through her brain, she stood there for a minute like nothing happened before falling face first into the ground. Isaa reloaded stating "rest in Jahannam, crazy bitch!" before checking on his comrade. Abdullah grabbed onto his own coat and ripped it open revealing a small silver heart pendant, he told Isaa "p-please ×his skin slowly turning pale from the loss of blood× g-give.... ×weakly handing Isaa the pendent× M-my... sister" Isaa held onto the pendent in his comrade's hand before telling him "Don't die just yet! We are so close to escaping this nightmare!" but, even he couldn't keep a man from facing his creator, as the life slowly left Abdullah's eyes, Isaa shed tears of pain witnessing his comrade die of blood loss.

He closed his... friend's eyes and left his body there with his weapon on his chest, and just like that, he went for the exit with regret and sorrow in his heart. Isaa never wanted any harm to befall his comrades, his brothers in Islam and arms. As he walked out, he looked at his hands, hands stained in blood, stained in hurtful memories. When he reached for the pendent, his feelings were replaced by this sense of newfound purpose.

Okay, you all are probably wondering where's our +important+ character is? Well, he is still in the cave, fighting a sinner from within.
