Sora returned home with something he bought for his mother. after checking up on Cadence and the others, and then Fugaku who had already healed up but was putting on an act. he gave Fugaku a place to stay before he went to bed

the next morning, Sora woke and got ready for the day. after getting ready for the day, Sora went on to wait for his mother's arrival.

Soon, the sky was filled with flames as a carriage wrapped in flames, being pulled by two horses covered in flames appeared above the palace.

Sora stood outside the palace along with many others who were on their knees. Sora's heartbeat was chaotic as he looked at the carriage door opening-up

soon, a woman with light brown hair came out of the carriage. a clear greenish aura covered her body as she slowly floated down to the ground. her aura made everyone shake slightly in fear, she was an expert who stood above the gold rank.

the rank above the gold rank was known as the mountain and river realm. those who stepped into this realm began forming a small world within their dantian. one needs a special technique to absorb energy and turn it into stuff like mountains and rivers, in this realm, one could store non-living items within this world. they even gain the ability to comprehend stuff known as law, which improved their strength

"... m-mother," Sora said softly, feeling her eyes which were eyeing his neck and the spot where the necklace used to be. She was of course enraged, Sora was attacked a week ago and could have died without that necklace, now this fool gave the necklace away.

Kanan who was the only one other than Sora who didn't knee had everyone leave, just leaving her and the mother and son. The queen held her hands out as an invisible force grabbed Sora before they flashed entering the carriage

"I gave the necklace away in order to draw out those spies..." Sora said in a low voice as he felt her rage, he was ready for a beating, his mother didn't play. there was a reason why Sora didn't have many females around him. someone like him would have spent money on females, not gambling, he would have been like one of those arrogant young masters and would have gone around taking females off the street.

"... sigh. I want you to be king, but that doesn't mean putting your life in danger. I'm happy to see you have gotten serious, but what is the point if you die?" She said with a sigh

"you're my only son, yet I brought you into this world as a cripple. the least I can do is make your life have meaning, sitting on the throne and ruling over tens of billions of lives. that's something right? "... that ring and necklace are both silver rank items, they are much better than the last thing I made for you." She said with a smile before she suddenly grabbed Sora's ear. Sora cried in pain as she pulled it

"I told you to never take off that necklace, but you take it off and give it to a girl? what was protecting you these past few days?" She said angrily,

"I promise I will not remove it; I will keep it on." Sora cried out in pain, She snorted slightly before letting his ear go, before sitting back in her carriage

"Why are you going around with Kanan entering dungeons?" She asked calmly, making cold sweat cover Sora's forehead

"I... I... well you see... I... the,,," Sora stumbled over his words unable to find the right words, before his mother he couldn't lie. she would see through him, sweat covered Sora forward seeing her slowly began to frown

After a moment, Sora put together a story in his head before holding his palm out. a copper card appeared in his hands before he threw it to the ground, but the card explode as Sora coughed up blood

{Host has received a backlash. the host is unable to summon monsters above his charisma points. current charisma, 1. the host can raise the charisma points by being true to the path the host has chosen. the host is unable to choose a path until the host reaches a high enough floor within the tower of infinity.} the system said as Sora's mother helped him up

"What happened?" She asked in shock, she was confused at what just happened. Sora was not poisoned or was he attacked. this was more like a backlash from someone trying to use a skill and receiving a backlash.

"I tried to use the hidden skill I awakened when I killed my first monster. but there is a high chance of a backlash with every use. that's why I was trying to clear as many dungeons as I could." Sora said softly, as he felt himself quickly recover

"You awakened a skill? that's amazing, I knew you were special. what's the skill?" She asked with bright eyes.

"it's just a summoning skill. since I don't have mana, I have to use other forms of energy like stamina and mental energy. but the stronger I become the high the success rate for a summons to work. so I wanted to kill monsters to grow stronger." Sora said as he avoided her eyes by trying to stand up on his own

"... you had Kanan weaken the monster. how is that training?" She asked as she flicked Sora's forehead, but she was secretly happy. this meant her son was not a complete cripple, he could at less summon beings to stand by his side

"I will return, I will come back and give you a special item which will boost your stamina and mental energy. but I will be expecting you to train hard, I don't want to see you being lazy." She said seriously, Sora nodded slightly as she patted his head

"I should be returning. you can find out the ability of those items I gave you on your own. now go on, I will see you during the yearly ranking at the capital." She said as Sora nodded slightly, Sora floated as he floated out of the carriage and landed on the ground. Sora wanted as the carriage suddenly disappeared, allowing the sky to return to normal.

"She didn't even bother to eat," Sora said with a helpless sigh, he had everything prepared for her arrival, but she just popped up and disappeared. then again, she was the queen, she could do as she want.

After having everyone return to their everyday life, but just as Sora was about to return to his room. Kanan flashed in front of him when Fugaku suddenly appeared in front of Sora. But she was stunned when she saw Fugaku kneeling with a lowered head toward Sora.

"Young prince, you took me a nobody off the street and even healed me back up to full health. I will be dead without you... so my life is yours. order me as you wish." Fugaku said seriously as he looked past Kanan and at Sora. Kanan was speechless, a little iron rank expert thought his life meant something?

"What do you have to offer me?" Sora asked with a smile as he stepped past Kanan to stand before the kneeling Fugaku. Kanan frowned at Sora's actions, why must he put his life in danger? but she was sure she was fast enough to protect Sora, so she stood there ready to move at any moment

"I once led a large clan, I'm not just a skilled leader, I'm highly talented. just the place where I'm from didn't have many silver rank dungeons, so I left to adventure but was attacked when passing through this city. I have been in many wars, and know-how to lead many armies. I can teach, lead, and many more." He said seriously, Sora crossed his arms as he looked at him

"Just when I aim for the throne you just stumble into my life, sounds a bit too good to be true. how do I know you're not a spy sent over?" Sora asked with a smile

"I'm sorry... but I have no way to prove that. if lord doesn't trust me then treat me as you wish." He said as he closed his eyes, Sora smiled slightly as he held his hands out. Fugaku seemed surprised at Sora's actions.

"Then I will trust you. any fun business and I will have your head, alright?" Sora said with a smile, Fugaku nodded slightly as he took Sora's hands. Kanan didn't do anything as it seemed everything Fugaku said came from Fugaku's heart.

"Kanan. test him. I care most about his managing skills. and since he thinks he is talented, rank his talent then." Sora said as he waved goodbye while heading to his room without looking back. Kanan was his teacher, she knew something in every field. so she was the best person to see Fugaku's skills,

Upon returning to his room, Sora went on to enter the system and see what the drops he and the others gained from last night. over million copper grade mana crystals, thousands of iron grade mana crystals, and many D ranks and C rank shards.

this was something that made Sora smile, he had enough shards to improve the C rank summons to improve them to the iron rank, and some to even the silver rank. he had enough shards to improve the D rank gold rank.

the Male Ambu evolved to the Iron rank, with so many Copper rank mana crystals, Sora was able to quickly have the male Ambu reach peak iron rank.

Morgan also evolved to the iron rank and went on to reach the peak Iron rank, and even evolved to the Silver rank and went on to reach the peak of the Silver rank.

Chiaotzu also evolved to the iron rank and went on to reach the peak of the iron rank. but he didn't have enough shards to reach the Silver rank.

Ebisu also went on to evolve to the iron rank, he was lucky as he was able to reach the Silver rank, and reached the peak of the silver rank

As for all the D rank summons, he was able to improve them all to the gold rank. D rank shards really were easy to drop, but Sora almost screamed when he realized he had evolved all of them to the gold rank. he couldn't summon them now,

He took a deep sigh before he went on to look at the B rank summons, but he couldn't improve them without their shards. he also could not improve the A rank summons

"The D rank summons can't be improved now since I need Silver rank mana crystals to improve their strength. I will send Fugaku off to clear dungeons, I need just 1 more A rank summon and I get the infinite tower. I wonder what charisma. since I only have 1 charisma point, I will only be able to summon just Fugaku unless I call him back." Sora said softly,

{charisma is an aura one gives off. as a summoner, the charisma the host gives will make people see him as someone worthy to follow. if a summon is forcefully summoned even though it's above the host's charisma requirement, there is a chance the summon will break free from the host. the higher the summon grade, the higher the charisma is required.} the system said as Sora nodded slightly, so he couldn't just simply summon powerful beings without putting in any hard work himself

{the host's charisma would also affect those around him. when the host's charisma reaches a high enough level, those around the host will submit to the host without a second thought. but those with strong minds will need to be canvased.} the system said

{with every 10 points of charisma the host gain, the host will be given the chance to take one ability of his summons. the ability taken will have the same power as the summon which the skill was taken, and once taken the skill can't be replaced. but the host most have enough charisma to summon the summon he wishes to get the skill from} the system said as Sora's eyes brightened in joy

{every 100 points of charisma will allow the host to gain a new anime world. these new worlds which will be added will need special tickets to summon beings from those worlds. the worlds gained will only be low-grade worlds, like attack on Titans and so on.} the system said

{every 100,000 points, the host will be given the chance to gain 1 med grade world. these worlds could be worlds like Jujutsu Kaisen and so on,} the system said

{and every 100 million points will give the host the chance to gain 1 high-grade world. these worlds could be worlds, like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, fate stay night, and so on.} the system said as Sora's eyes almost teared up, he really wasn't going to be some useless trash. but how will he be able to improve his charisma points?

{to gain more charisma points, the host will need to be true to one path. no matter the danger. so long as the host's heart remains strong, the host will gain Charisma points. but when the host is not true to his own path, the charisma points will begin to drop. the host will also gain charisma points when he impresses those with power far above himself and his summons combine.} the system said as Sora nodded slightly as he wondered what type of paths he will be able to pick from

{there are 4 types of paths. the first is the hero path. this path, one must have a pure heart and seek to remove all evil from this world. picking this path will give the host a boost of power when facing those who are evil. the host will gain a much higher rate of summoning the main hero of the world, or the strongest hero possible within a rank. the host will gain charisma by how many hearts are moved through his actions of being a hero. the more people respect you, the more Charisma can be gained}

{the second path is the path of evil. those who walk this path will be selfish and do anything they want without caring about those around them or how it would affect others. picking this path will give you a boost of power when facing those who are pure. the host will gain a much higher rate of summoning the main villain of the world, or the strongest villains possible within a rank. when defeating someone extremely powerful, the host will be able to gain more than 1 charisma}

{the third path is the path of a summoner. those who walk this path will become a summoner to the core. you will leave everything to your summons, and just to strengthen your summons. you will not be able to gain abilities from your summons and only. this path will lower the charisma needed for a summons to be summoned, your summons requirements for being strengthened will also be lowered. shards will drop at a much higher rate from monsters, and even from normal humans. summoning tickets will also be gained through killing monsters.}

{the fourth path is the path of a Sovereign. those who walk this path will become a Sovereign. you will seek to rule all and seek great power. As a Sovereign, you must never lower your head. you must never kneel. no matter what, this path will make it so every skill you gain from your summons is instantly mastered, even if the summon hasn't mastered said skill. the host will be able to gain charisma points through those who worship and pay respect to the host from the bottom of their heart. but the host will lose charisma points when he loses, no matter what type of loss it is, the host will lose Charisma points. the bigger the loss, the more charisma will be lost. the longer the host goes without anyone other than his summons under his rule paying their respect from the bottom of their heart, the more charisma points will be lost. if the host has no land, the host's charisma will become one.} the system said

{as the host's charisma decreases, so will the gained world/ability be locked until the host regains the charisma points. also, Charisma points are extremely hard to gain, it could take hundreds of years just to gain 100 points.} the system said as Sora nodded slightly. he already knew which path he will pick, it was the Sovereign path.
