Somebody once said, that a society in which quriks are universal is really just a society in which quirks must be suppressed.

Super strength, super speed, Light, heat, shock and wave emission... and more still.

The innate power from birth that is now present in the majority of people known as " Quirks".

If everyone was allowed to do as they pleased with those powers, the world would quickly descend into chaos.

And that's exactly why we all restrain our quirks, and use them moderatly, so that we can live our lives normally.

Those are the iron clad rules of today's society.

The one and only exception is heroes.

Acknowledged for their exceptional character and abilities, they are a special existence permitted to exert their quirks to their heart's content for the sake of the people, and the world.

All young boys and girls grow up admiring heroes and aspiring to become one.

It's the only way to be able to fully unleash one's quirk under the law after all.

But...not everyone can become a hero.

Reality isn't that kind. And as a result... in some cases "Quirks" with nowhere to go... head towards a place outside the law.

Some of them fire off their powers in their everyday lives.

Others change themselves into monsters. And others still, become heroes of their own accord.

Quirk: Sludge Form

Immunity to physical damage, ability to crawl through small spaces, the ability to reform after bodily destruction, and top it all off with power to posses people and use their Quirk.

Oh, and did I mention a slight strength boost.

It was a shame that the sludge villain just got completely one shoted by All Might, twice, which I really think hurt the Quirk's reputation.

Plus of how early it appeared in the series and was given to a petty criminal that wasted the Quirk's potential didn't help things either.

This Quirk was, quite frankly, ridiculous.

There were just so many things you could do with it. It was a pity the Sludge Villain only used it for robbery.

Sure, there were a few weaknesses, but then again, which quirk didn't come without a few drawbacks?

First of all, it's power was severely limited if I were to be forced in a tight space, being restricted in terms of area movement would make it essentially useless.

And, since it was a mutant type quirk, I personally had some trouble with it.

Like the fact, I needed to focus to regenerate or turn my body into sludge.

Since, I wasn't originally born with it, like the sludge villain was, I had to consciously activate it.

I worked on my reformation speed, since switching from solid form without training and/or concentration to sludge form proved harder than I expected.

I needed to practice to change back, and forth, full body morphing was almost impossible for me right now.

But, I reckon that problem could be probably solved with training.

It was going to take me a very long time for my body to acclimatize to my new quirk.

Buy, It was worth it, gaining a life saving quirk, which basically equated to having a logia devil fruit was simply a god send.

And, the best part about it, no body would miss it.

As far as anybody knew, the sludge villain simply disappeared.

I made sure to properly dispose of the remains, after I was done absorbing his quirk.

Let's just say it wasn't a pleasant experience, he was missing so many parts of his body, that when he changed into human form, after having his quirk taken. A mangled mess of flesh, blood and bones were all that was left.

I ended up emptying my stomach that day.

And, it took me a few days to get over it. It was just that disgusting.
