Beth's POV

"Joe, stop!" Ally opened her arms wide and stopped in front of Joe.

She tried to stop him from rushing towards me with her curvy figure with worry written all over her face as she trembled slightly.

"Please stop. Don't hurt her." Ally begged on my behalf, which made Joe abruptly stop proceeding towards me.

He turned around and patted her on her arms gently, before he handed her to the warrior standing beside him, with the note of taking care of his Luna.

And for a slight second, I admired how much Joe could feel affected by his mate. It doesn’t matter if they are in their pack or not, he never got mad at her and would always care for her safety first, just like a good mate.

However, despite not being mad at her, he still didn’t let her affect him too much to make him withdraw his actions, he was very angry and was determined to get the culprit for his anger, which sadly, was me.
