Chapter 26

Beth's POV

"Beth, stay here."

I wanted to go with him. But he was too convinced.

I promised to stay back here, but just here. Aaron asked April to accompany me back to my room I refused.

I would wait for him right here.

Through the small window, I could see Aaron's back as he led the werewolves to the exit to meet Joe and Ally, who were at the border.

Surprised, I pressed my face against the window, opened a crack quietly, and tried to grab anything they were saying.

My wolf was circling anxiously inside, worried about Aaron, too.

"Be quiet. I can't hear them!" I yelled at my wolf.

My face was already flustered and most of my body was hanging over the edge of the window, which allowed me to eavesdrop a bit, but I was still not close enough to hear everything.

"Beth, don't get any closer to them. Joe will see you!" my wolf warned me sternly. So I didn’t move any further.
