Reaction after the event

Nancy froze as she sat on the floor and watched what was happening before her.

Letitia was dazed from the beating, but she didn't forget to crawl over and hug Nancy tightly, she must not let Beatrice Cecil hit her friend again.

"You two are so close." Beatrice Cecil narrowed her eyes and gazed wistfully at the two sober-elves, "Like to get beaten up together and everything else too, don't you?"

No sooner had she said that than a sudden, hasty scream came out!

Nancy and Letitia were stunned by the turn of events.

A man suddenly appeared behind Beatrice Cecil, and then her hair was caught by a bony hand. The person who grabbed her applied a fierce force and lifted Beatrice Cecil up and threw her against the trellis.

Beatrice Cecil rolled from the third tier of the trellis straight to the floor, looking very badly beaten.
