Ace, The White Wizard

Jared was confused, Alexander had said he didn't want to call Selena, but now he's actually calling the famous artist and model to return to the pack.

"Eh? Calling Miss Selena?"

"Yup, ask her to accompany me to the party the day after tomorrow." Alexander got up. It seemed he already had a plan to win over his grumpy rabbit.

"Very well, My Lord." Nothing could Jared say except 'yes.'

"Ah… I have to see My Baby Girl." Alexander got up from his chair.

"I'll drive myself, Jared."

"Very Well, Alpha. I will ask the driver to prepare the car." Jared dismissed.

At the same time, In Eden's house.

[ By the way, what is that pervert wet dog doing right now??] Wow!! Wait!! Why did Eden even think about it?? She should have nothing to deal with that Pervert Doggo!

"But do werewolves exist?? Hmm… Surely he's just lying!! Huft… right, the sharp nails must be just fake nails, like the special makeup effect in the movies. There are no werewolves in this world!!" Eden was still trying to deny that she had just a relationship with a supernatural creature.

"Oh… Stop it, E! Stop thinking about him!!" Eden warned herself not to be trapped in Alexander's shadow. "I hope I never see him again."

Eden had just finished taking a shower. She went back into the room. What a surprise when she saw all the contents of her bag had been scattered outside.

"No!!" Eden rushed to check it out.

"Damn it!!! Shit!! Just a moment, and all the money is gone!!" Eden bit her lower lip in annoyance. Salaries from sending milk and newspapers every morning and wages for sending goods today vanished because Eden was careless. She didn't lock her room or hide the money in a safe area.

Who was stole her money? Marvell? Or her mom??

Eden rushed out of the room. She was shouting to call Marvel's name or her mom.

"Mom?? Marvell??"

There's no one in the house. Eden had to leave. She was strolling the deserted streets because it was getting late at night. With only a t-shirt and long training pants, Eden scoured the sidewalks around the neighborhood where she lived to look for the thief.

Nothing, Marvel or Vica, was nowhere to be found. Eden stopped, her sweat profusely, and her breath hitched. Eden crouched in exhaustion.

"Argh!! Damn it!! How should I pay for water and electricity??" Eden grabbed her hair in annoyance.

"E?" A hand patted Eden's back until it made her cringe.

"Ace?" Eden was surprised; why was Ace here?? And why could this young man always be there when Eden was in… trouble??

"Why are you squatting here??" asked Ace, confused, looking at Eden and her paled face.

"I… I…" Eden stammered.

"Hey, what's wrong with your hand?" Ace looked shocked when he saw Eden's wrist swelled up.

"Ow, I accidentally fell off my bike and sprained it." Eden got up she hid her hands behind her body.

"It looks so bad. You should go to the hospital." Invite Ace. His face looks worried.

[What… Hospital?? I don't even have money to pay for electricity and water, let alone medical treatment.] Eden thought sadly; she had just lost all her money, whether it was her mom or her big brother.

"I'm okay. It's just a minor injury. By the way, why are you here??" Eden walked with Ace back to her house.

"Oh, I missed you," Ace replied, and the man laughed.

"No kidding, Ace!" Eden's face warmed.

"Dad told me to buy beer." Ace showed a bag containing several cans of beer and snacks.

"Oh, I see." Eden bit her lower lip when Ace was joking and teasing her.

"Hmm… what if what I said is true, E? What if it turns out that I really miss you?" Ace smiled at Eden, making Eden's heart jump happily in its place.

The number one guy in her life should be a normal, a human, an average person like Ace. Not a supernatural creature like Alexander. Woah… one more time, Eden thought about Alexander to compare him to Ace.

"So?"

"Are you kidding again?" Eden couldn't admit that she was pleased if it happened.

"Hahaha… do I look like I'm joking?" Ace laughed. Eden laughed too.

"Yeah, you do."

They walked side by side across the paved pavement while chatting lightly. Ace drove Eden back to her house.

"See you tomorrow. Don't forget to put some ointment on your wrist."

"Yeah, see you, Ace." Eden nodded obediently. Ace smiled and stroked Eden's head before turning to leave.

Eden waited for Ace's back to disappear while Ace occasionally turned to look at Eden.

Ace disappeared behind a bend in the road. Meanwhile, Eden returned to his house.

"How is it, Mr. Ace??" A man in a black hooded robe approached Ace.

"I'm not sure, King. she was injured but not healing her self." Ace answered. He saw Eden was injured. If the girl were a she-wolf, she would definitely heal herself. They could regenerate damaged cells quickly.

"But the color of her eyes…"

"Many humans have the same eye color as Eden." Ace took a deep breath, and heterochromia could occur in one hundred and fifty thousand births. Maybe Eden wasn't the werewolf they were looking for.

"I hear that Alexander is looking for his mate," reported King.

"Gather Queen and Jack, King. We're going to arrange a wizard's meeting. Alexander started to prepare his troops too; we need to stop him before he is more robust." Ace gave orders to the black-hooded man.

"Very well, my lord." The man disappeared into the darkness.

Ace turned into a white hood robe man; he cast a short spell, the bag and beer in his hand turned into dry leaves and disappeared into the night wind, and so did he.
