Alois couldn't shake Slade off him, the groves above his eyebrows deepened. "Don't you have other things to do?" He griped when Slade waited for him to finish competing in the archery competition, sticking to him even when he spoke to Henri and after the Prince left.

"You look troubled, your aim was a few centimeters off," Slade said, reaching out to touch Alois' shoulder.

Alois sidestepped him. "It wasn't."

"It was."

"Go away."

"Don't be like that now, let's go play a game together, this is the only chance we'll get." Slade said in a convincing manner.

Alois eyed him up, "You always win, why would I fight a lost battle?"

"Fine, suit yourself." Slade said, trying to pat his shoulders again.

This time Alois wasn't paying attention so Slade's hand made contact. Alois immediately jumped backward but it was too late.
