Colette guided the trio to a receiving room, bustling around. "I apologize for the sorry state of affairs."

"It's more our fault for showing up in the middle of a robbery," Dio said dryly.

Colette seemed to have adjusted to hearing him speak, there were far more pressing matters at hand after all because not long after, Anastasia pranced into the room.

She did a double take when she saw that they had a couple of visitors, her short curly hair in a disarray.

"Young Master Dio, Madam Gisèle, Young Master's friend, Louis." She bowed respectfully to all three of them before hurrying over to Colette's side. "The constable's here, he's at the foyer with a couple of officers."

Colette immediately looked to Dio with deference at this, her hand still keeping a solid grip on her trusty rolling pin.

Dio rose to his feet, Louis and Gisèle quickly doing the same. "We'd best have a talk with him."
