Along The Sidewalk

“Where are we running off too?” Sabrina questions while they both run hand in hand, together on a sidewalk. “To get married.” David casually replies and Sabrina abruptly stops on her tracks. “M-marriage?” She stutters. David turns around and stands facing her. “Yes! And let me tell you that I want four kids. Three girls just like you and a big brother to protect my girls… And he must take my looks of course.” “What?! Marriage? Kids?! Where are all these things suddenly coming from?” “It’s time! A hurricane is about to head our way and before that we must get married.” David emphasizes, moving close to her. “But David we can’t just do it right now… We have to tell my mother and-“ David didn’t give her a chance to complete, he crossed the remaining distance between them and claimed her soft blabbering lips only to put her to a stop. “Another important thing…” He breathes as he held her close. “I love you.” That had Sabrina moving on her toes while her insides were left burning with the flames of desire. ========= SYNOPSIS ========= David is not your average man. Envying Beauty

"Do you think that I am a man lacking with looks?" Sabrina ignores his question and focuses on wiping the glass window of the restaurant"You think I am very ordinary? I have had many experiences. Ladies go gaga over me when they see me." Sabrina scoffs while she keeps wiping the glass window "Come on! You have to admit that I am no better than a prince."

"Okay stop, what brought that up?" She faces him and leaves the wet cloth to a side. He scratches his chiseled face before looking back at Sabrina.

"You think of me someone very ordinary."

"And what's wrong with that?" She raises an eyebrow at him, accusingly.

"I mean, there is nothing wrong with that but you should have ended up that girl with a charming prince like me… since you did interpret that story with me in your mind."

"I did not!"

"Yes, you did!"

"What's wrong with that story? Can't she end up with an ordinary man? why the hero has to always be some 'psychic'" she gruff.

"So you accept that you wrote that story with me in your mind?" He gives her a coy grin.

"I did not!"

"Yes, you did."

"You are suffering from self-obsession," she remarks with a straight face and his grin widens.

"And you like this self-obsessed person." He says, tilting his head and with a low voice while Sabrina's cheeks turn red.

"I do… not." She averts her face from his gaze.

"Yes you do, I sensed that pause." David moves closer to her.

"I never said that."

"But your face tells me." His hand was moving near to her face but a sudden knock on the glass window made them both jump back almost at a very good distance.

When Sabrina looks out at the glass, she finds a beautiful lady standing across with long brown hair that ended up to her waist. They seemed very shiny and silky. Her skin was a mix of caramel and cream color, a perfect texture with no flaw. A skin that seemed timely polished and hydrated. Her lips were puckered and pink. She was no less than an idol with that looks and her makeup just heightened that part of her. She was everything that Sabrina wished for.

How someone could be so beautiful, Sabrina thought.

She was no way near like that girl. She was short, had short hair, chubby face and never tried any skin or hair treatments, not even makeup. She was always braided with her curves hidden underneath her clothes.

She never once tried to be like one of those girls but for a moment she felt a little envious with David by her side.

When she glanced at David he too had her eyes fixed on that girl. He was looking at her with mouth agape and looking at them both she felt a strong ting of pain in her heart.
