Eggshells
It had been several years past, but the few elders and the people who had been in that room would never forget that day. The simple reason was that they had felt it, too! A few weaker ones who had only felt the aftermath of that power wave had coughed out blood. It had been as if they had been punched in their guts. No child in that room had gone unscathed.
