Chapter Two: A new manager

As he got to the company, Mr Bennett was greeted by everyone in the company.

It was surprising that everyone knew he was the newly appointed manager.

As he got to the founder's office where he had been told to stay, there were lots of people in there, cheering and clapping for him as he entered.

He had gotten over his nervous nature, now he could stand in front of millions of people. Not to boast but he's the most handsome man in the company.

Everyone kept admiring his beauty and the ladies were taken by his shiny face.

" Oh, I love you! " a lady blurted out but was punched by the person that was beside her.

"Are you dreaming?"

The founder pronounced him as the newly appointed manager of the Goldsoft Games Worldwide.

I guess you are expecting someone! Sure, the former manager or I could possibly say; The used to be manager is also there.

But amusingly, he was smiling while in his dark, unfaithful and unpromising heart, he wasn't happy. He was putting on a fake smile just to deceive people that he's not angry about the matter.

When the founder called for someone to talk on how Mr Bennett had been doing, Mr Gray was the one that came out to talk. And the saying goes as this,

"I never knew that what I want to do could possibly be in the founder and my other official's mind. I've always watched the fellow, Mr Bennett and I see how capable he is. I've thought of rewarding him with things, and I've also thought of helping him out." Mr Gray explained

The whole place was silent, and Mr Gray continued.

"Until when the founder had came to meet us and told us to express our opinions about him. I was happy when Mr Kim, had brought out his suggestion, so what I'm saying now is that, Mr Bennett is someone we could trust the hands of this company into." And he ended his speech there and then.

Everyone was surprised by his speech, the person they had thought would be sad about the whole thing, was just out here a few minutes ago smiling and happy about the whole thing.

And they were right, Mr Gray has his reasons for doing so.

He is the darkness roaming the night causing everyone to be blinded by its presence.

After a few years later, Mr Gray brought out a suggestion to the founder that everyone should create their game's creation book. The creation book consist of the details of the game the person created. A single book for a created game. And a rule was made that each creators should not show another creator what he had in his creation book.

Mr Gray had came to visit Mr Bennett, Which has never happened before. Mr Bennett had to make the sacrifice of cooking for him.

His daughter, Merly was still in school, and he just have to satisfy the visitor that had never visited him before but had came today.

"I'm sorry but could you wait till I'm back from the kitchen?" Mr Bennett asked.

"Sure, no problem. I will wait." Mr Gray replied but he had an evil smirk on his face. What he was here for was right in front of him.

Before Mr Gray visited, Mr Bennett was still busy preparing his creation book. And when Mr Gray entered, he forgot to clear away the books he put on the table.

His mind wasn't focused, that's why he had made such mistake of leaving the book on the table near Mr Gray.

Mr Gray brought out a device, the device was really expensive to have but it was useful. The device was just of the size of a USB drive.

He placed the drive on the closed creation book and all the details in the book was copied into the drive.

Miraculous right? That's technology for you!

After successfully copying the details that was handwritten in the creation book, into the cheat copy, just as Mr Gray had given the name to the device.

He went into the kitchen and told Mr Bennett that he would soon be leaving, so he should say what he came for and that he also have a meeting to attend soon.

Mr Bennett had no choice but to stop his cooking and went into the sitting room to hear what Mr Gray had to say.

"From my children's school, they sent me to tell you that, you could bring your children to attend the school, free of charge. With no fees or any other things." Mr Gray said.

"Okay, I'll think about it, is that all?" Mr Bennett asked.

"Sure that's all, I will be going now." Mr Gray said as he made his way for the door. "Thank you so much for your hospitality, I'm looking forward to see your children admitted into the school."

"Alright thank you very much!" And he left.

' Is that why he came? Gosh, thank God I Haven't prepared anything. ' Mr Bennett thought as he went to clean off the mess he made in the kitchen, soon after he remembered that he still have work to do.

And he went back to the filling of the years of the creation that was left for him to write in the creation book.

A while later, Greg and Merly entered and met their father writing some things.

"Father, what are you writing?" Greg was the first to ask. Mr Bennett explained all what his assistant had suggested and how he came to his house to tell him about the school's invitation.

While they were still saying this, Merly who was bored went outside to have some fresh air.

"I hate that man!" Greg confessed.

"Why?" his father asked but before he could explain, Keely ran inside panting.

"Father, father, I saw two men outside. They are outside!" she shouted.

"where ? let us go. Who could they be !!"
