Alien VR Game Competition (Having Revenge on the cheater)

"Hello, I am told to inform you of the oncoming Alien VR game competition." A man on the phone said. "You are officially invited to participate in this Competition. Drake kills, and Lord Alien will be there!"

And the call ended.

"Are you going to participate in this one? You left your sister to participate in the last competition they held, but many wanted to see you fight.

It's been a while, they say!"

Presently, there were two men in a dark room. A man was speaking to the one that had received the call.

"I... I am going to participate in this Competition." The man said. "And it might be the last Competition I'll be attending in their world. Do you know why?"

He sighed.

"Let me tell you about my story, Josh." Greg said.

It has always been Greg's dream to be a VR Game creator. His father was famous because of his outstanding work.

His father is known to be the best of all game creators. He was the one that brought up the idea of playing Virtual reality games.

After several years of working with the Goldsoft games, the envious chairman, an assistant manager to Greg's father brought up an idea of presenting Game creativity plan book.

The book contains the details of each person's creation. Those that created two types of game will be presenting two, but of it is one, that one will be submitted.

Greg's father didn't see that as a bad idea. Actually, he was pleased with it.

He got all what he need to create the creation book and in two days, he had created the book.

But in that evening, the assistant manager had come to visit his boss, Greg's father who is well known as Mr Bennett.

When the assistant manager, Mr Gray came to visit Greg's father, Greg's father was amazed that his assistant manager had come to visit him for the first time. Ever since he had been appointed a manager and boss to Mr Gray, he had never seen Mr Gray visiting him once before.

The thing is, before Mr Bennett was appointed as the company manager, Mr Gray used to be the manager.

During the time Mr Gray was a manager at Goldsoft games, no one knew their names, nor patronize their works.

But, Mr Bennett applied to be a game creator in Goldsoft and he start working on his idea of creating a VR Game as an intern in the company.

When his presentation was held, everyone was amused by the idea of the game and when it got introduced to people, there was constant demanding of the games and people love playing it a lot.

The founder of the Goldsoft games saw all this and called for a meeting with everyone. He asked for the person that had created the VR game and intern Bennett stood up.

Meanwhile, Bennett was afraid of what could have happened that his name was called.

He was getting nervous and shy to talk. He's never been told to stand among lots of people before, and seeing his name called was so surprising to him.

After telling everyone who he is, what is name is, what position he occupied and what creation he has made, he was told to sit.

The Founder stood up and told everyone to leave the meeting except the heads of the company.

In the meeting, the founder threw a question out to them on how to reward the man that had bring them success.

There are some that hate the present manager, Mr Gray and they were the ones that stood up to answer the questions of the founder.

"Sir, I would suggest that we should make sure the person that had brought us success and fame be placed in a high position. The reasons are; First, if we don't act fast and the person gets another offer from other companies, an offer to get paid in millions of dollars. And he leaves, we won't be able to create the type of VR game he created. All our trainees haven't gotten how it works and the only person that could do it perfectly is Bennett." The man, Mr Kim explained.

There were murmuring from every corner but after a while, Mr Kim continued.

"Secondly, our present manager is not capable of the role he has. What is his usefulness if he can't create such game like that of Bennett's. Ever since he has been in this company, I never heard of any worthy game created by him before. All what he knows is to ask for permission to go visit his sick daughter in the hospital for good ten years.

Tell me, is your daughter still in the hospital. Haven't they perform the necessary surgery on her? No one knows the hospital she's admitted into and no one knows what sickness she has. Anytime we ask, you always stammer."

This time the murmuring was so much and all what Mr Gray did was, he bent down his heads, not even saying a thing.

And in twos and threes, one by one, people start raising their hands on the matter.

Mostly of them support what Mr Kim had said and many of them suggested that Mr Gray should be demoted to the position of an assistant manager in the company.

The founder was just wondering why God had loved this Mr Bennett, majority of the heads were in support of the opinion on removing Mr Gray as the manager and replacing him with the intern, Mr Bennett.

Mr Bennett on the other hand couldn't believe that he was going to be a manager at his working place. The night before the day he will be starting his new job as a manager, he called every of his children. He had two children, a boy and a girl.

He told them all about the creation of his game, how he got promoted into the position of a Manager and all. And he asked each one of them what they would like him to do for them.

Greg, the eldest child answered his father by first congratulating him. After, he requested that his father should teach him how to create the VR game.

Mr Bennett paused for a while before answering.

"I believe that since I'm able to quickly understand the concept of the game, then you my son will be able to make out more good things out of this VR game. Teach you, I will!" He said and Greg was so happy. "But, I may not be there to help you in the future, when everything gets difficult, I want you to seek for someone named Jex, he will help you."

And they hugged each other.

The daughter said she requested for love from both her father and brother. Ever since her mother had died, she's been lonely, especially when she's at home and Greg is out for evening music lessons.

Tommorow is a big day for Mr Bennett. A day he could never forget in his life.
