⌜Chapter 13⌟

It has been a few hours since I started looking for the 1st-floor boss, I am now at level 20 of the 1st floor, still trying to find the possible boss room, as for why I came here, I vaguely remember that there was a hint on the 20th floor in the anime.

I could there are only a few players who dared to venture to this floor, from the news I received, they were finally able to clear the first labyrinth after 2 months, pretty slow but putting the fact that all of them are scared to die, it was very understandable.

But with the clearance of the first labyrinth, the frontline players are also starting to move, deaths have been fewer since then but I need to finish up the boss before they could find it.

Aincrad is a very big place, especially on the first floor, finding the boss room was certainly not easy as this place was like a maze with tons of monsters coming out from time to time.

I have been looking for a while now but I decided to up efficiency so whenever I get to a dead-end, I will kill myself to return back to the entrance then go to another path, it also made the progress of the players delay since I return 24 hours when I die.

Certainly, I died many times just trying to venture the 20th level, not due to the monsters but to kill myself many times, after countless deaths, I was finally able to find a door that leads to the boss room.

"I finally found it goddamn!"

I could not help but cheer inside from happiness, anyway, now that I found it, time to beat the shit out of this floor boss that is hiding, but just as I was about to proceed, I heard someone calling out to me which made me froze.

Looking behind me, I saw a group of six people, and I found their leader familiar, I forgot his name but I was sure this guy was a beta-tester

"Please wait a moment!"

He came towards me in a hurry.

"What do you need?"

I asked in a deep voice, I tried imitating Madara's voice which worked quite well.

"You are a beta tester, right? seeing you were able to find the boss room as if you already know where it is?"

One of the guys asked with hostility, a beta tester? well, I could be called one actually sine I return back when I die, and looking at them, I think they followed me, so for them who saw me moving around and not the part where I died, they would really think, I know where I was going.

Damn, I'm so smart.

Anyway, the other guy seemed to have a deep hatred for me despite it being my first time meeting him, well whatever, I have already decided on the image I was going for.

I ignored the guy and turned towards the beta tester.

"What...do you need?"

They seemed very intimidated by how I spoke but it was what I intended.

"My name is Diavel, You have found the boss room, but I'm sure you are not planning to fight it on your own right? how about we tell this to the other players so we could form a group to raid the boss, that way it won't be very risky"

He seemed very excited as he said those words, but I don't like it, yes, going in a group can lessen the risk and help each other but that is the opposite of what I wanted.

I stared at them for a few seconds before turning back towards the door.

"I need no help from ants"

"What did you say!?"

The guy who seemed to be angry since earlier charged towards me with an ax on his hand, I stopped in my tracks and only looked at him, he jumped into the air slashed his ax down towards me.

"Too slow"

I only tilted my body a little bit avoiding the ax that was slashed towards me in a hair's breadth, compared to the Fatal Scythe, this attack was like a snail that was compared to a car, it's just too slow.

He seemed very surprised that I dodged his attack, he wanted to attack once again but I didn't let him and punched him by his left rib with a powerful force that he was sent flying and crashing to the wall.

The others were surprised and immediately took out their weapons but they did not attack because the leader stopped them.

I didn't even look at the guy who was sent flying away by my punch and only glanced at the remaining ones.

"I have no interest in ants, leave"

The leader nodded and immediately took their injured member and only looked at me from the distance, seeing they won't follow me anymore, I opened the door leading towards the boss room.

I then closed the door since I don't want others to interrupt my fight, but just as the door was about to close, I heard Diavel speak once again.

"What is your name!?"

I smiled under my mask as I heard him ask, I turned my head and gave him a side glance, and with the best I had I replied.

"Uchiha Madara"

With those words, the doors finally closed down locking me inside the boss room, now then, I looked at the dark hall in front of me and waited for a few seconds before it started lighting up and the sound of boss music could be heard.

I'm impressed Kayaba added background music when fighting the boss but whatever, in front of me was the boss seating on a throne, just near him was his minion kobolds, with a smile I pulled out the scythe from my inventory and stood in front of them... menacingly.

The boss monster, Illfang the Kobold Lord, stood up from its throne and picked up its weapon as if acknowledging my existence, while my fight with the Illfang the Kobold Lord is about to start, unknown to me, outside the first floor, live screens started to appear getting the attention of every player.
