CHAPTER 26 ::- Ogbu Agu & The Forest Spirit Maiden

Ogbu agu spreed his spirit sense to the strange unidentifiable vine, The green light began pulsating like a beating heart, With every beat came an increase in the light size.

The vine vanished and the light disappears revealing a beautifully young maiden, Her green hair swing by the wind. Her upper region and lower region covered with green vine weaved together forming vine cloth.

Ogbu agu swallowed his saliva forcefully while looking at her. "You seems not to remember me" the maiden asked.

This brought him back to reality after hearing her words that can enchant and soot the soul of a great warrior even a troubled heart can be calmed by her words.

He went into deep thought but could not lay hands were he knew her.

"Forgive my impudence and arrogance great spirit, This old bone do not remember you." Ogbu agu said and knelt down. She rolled her eyes seductively at him while she walked up close to him.

Ogbu agu broke down in cold sweat, as he sensed the share terrifying aura she exudes. He finally knew that he has no chance fighting her, So he waited for his death.

She placed her right hand on his shoulder, Her terrifying aura changed into a peacefully one suiting the body and soul.

Ogbu agu noticed the abrupt change taking place inside him, His body became young again while his cultivation took a big leap to peak fourth tear magi warrior.

The two went inside while ogbu agu became shocked as he calculated what he gained from this encounter.

"Great spirit I don't have anything worthy as gift for you." Ogbu agu said trembling. She sighed "What a dummy you are, For many years I haven't feel the joy of a woman so now it will be your duty as I help you bring peace to this province."

Ogbu agu trembled in fear "I am not worthy of this opportunity great one" Ogbu agu said still fearing for his life and vitality. "I will be staying with you for the main time." She said with impetiance.

He noticed her mood changing from her aura. Ogbu agu became helpless as he thought of what to do. " Let's go to my chambers." He said and they made there move.

She narrated how they met, How he rescued her from the hands of a black art sorcerer whom nearly killed her.

When they met the guards, They gave them bow of respect and focused on there duties

"They will become great warriors like you and stand by there king omalinze." She said after a profound light flickerd within.

Ogbu agu became flagabasted about what he just heard "I can not only see the future but I can change and boost people's talents and cultivation if we copulate."

The two went into ogbu agus chambers and the door closed.

In The morning Ogbu agu came out of his hut revitalized, He bounce like the young men of the old. He felt the vitality and energy causing through his body.

He looked exactly like the younger version of himself now which maveled some people who saw him this morning.

"Did he take the immortal pill or did he put on the enchanted mask of yought." One of the guards said, "He is not someone obsessed about yought full looks, so I doubt that"

"I think his cultivation base is back, Like he has healed from his injuries. His magic is back there is no other explanation of it."

Obika omalinze and Annene came out from there room. They smirked wondering how ogbu agu became young over night. Obika began having the feeling of familiarity to ogbu agu.

Ogbu agu whom was basking in this new feeling of his was interrupted by the feeling of his long lost son is here. He instinctly looked at obika and both there gaze met each other.

"Old bone how did you get younger over night." Obika jokenly asked ogbu agu waved his right hand and the forest maiden appeared.

The youghts gasped in surprise and soon mermrised by her beauty. "What a beauty" one of the youghts said.

"She will be our Odumeje our oracule and spiritual leader for now. Her name is ijeoma and she is my wife." The crowed became astonished and shocked at the same time.

She walked up to omalinze who stood beside obika and Annene. She checked him round before stoping in front of him face to face.

"I am willing to serve you, I will help you accomplish what your destiny has for you." She said humbly making her move to kneel down but omalinze stoped her by holding her inplace.

"You don't need to kneel before me." Omalinze said and soon wood elemental energy were absorbed by omalinzes body. This made his body to swell in size.

ARRRRH

He screamed in agony as pain coursed through his body and soul

This was caused by the too much excess wood elemental energy that his body absorbed.

BOOM!

His body exploded and green particulse could be seen spreeding everywhere including green lights.

"What did you do to him" Obika asked her. "Nothing just that his body greedily absorbed my pure wood elemental energy." She answered as warries where written all over her face.

Soon green fiery fire began burning omalinze's soul. "This this it's soul rebirth." One of the warriors commented.

"He is using both wood and fire for his soul rebirth." Annene said.

After he exploded it dawned on him that he is going to die as his soul began disipating. As a last resort his incarnation soul activated as it felt threatened and they both merged together.

He began burning his soul with fire element then healing it with wood element.

Boom

The wood element from the environment and the one from the forest maiden came towards omalinze's soul. This elemental energy began building body for him.

Soon his body and soul transformation was over and his eyes opened a profound light flickerd within.

"Mother nature blessings. Thank you ijeoma for this." Omalinze thanked her. She smiled as happiness took over her worried heart.

"Mother nature has chosen you and her blessings is yours and the Devine prince of aguda, So use it wisely." She said and turned towards obika.

"A lion never gives birth to a goat, You will play a great role in his destiny." ijeoma the spirit maiden said pointing to omalinze.

She turned to the crowed that gathered, She scanned them all with her gaze to the smallest details before she spoke.

"You all should be prepared for the Devine prince the prophecy spoke of is coming. He is already in this world. This broken AGUDA EMPIRE. Get prepared for him and the wars that will follow through."

"Get strong to protect your loved ones, No one will do that for you." She looked at ogbu agu who knew what she meant.

Obikas heart skipped as a forbidding feeling spreed from his heart. He spreed his spirit sense, he saw a moving object coming his way.

He dodged it very fast, If he did delayed for a seconds he could have been injured in no time. He turned facing the direction the object is came from, He saw ogbu agu standing while smiling to him.

"Son let's spar, Lions are lions Goats are goats. The blood of a lion runs in your veins." Ogbu agu said.

His words put obika in confused state, He never told him of his true identity, Oblivious to obika that ogbu agu has already knew his identity by the blood feeling he had.

He came back to reality and walked up to the fighting stage were the youghts train and fight each other to better perfect there skills.

"I won't go easy on you Old Bones." Obika taunted "I will show you that am not old bones anymore." Ogbu agu fired back laughing it off as he walks up to the fighting stage.

Ogbu agu released his aura which made everyone to step back ten feet from where they stood. Obika released his own terrifying aura that clashed with his father's aura.

"Is this all you got father, it's been a long time I have stretched this bone of mine." Ogbu agu smiled werry, he could see himself through obika. Gentle storborn strength wild and wisdom.
