3 Night fall

Landing point: Wilderness: Northern continent: 6579.03.21 LB

Lagiel didn't get far away from the clearing. As she was running away from her problems, she punched a tree in her way, out of frustration. To her surprise, she punched through the tree wider than her torso with no problem. Which made her stop in her tracks. As she stood before the tree dazed, it started tilting away from her. At first, it was going slowly, she could see inside the tree as the filaments inside were snapping, and then it sped up and with a loud "Krunch" even the bark gave out and the tree fell to the ground with an earthshaking "Boom". A few minutes later Kyleena appeared. She came closer and examined the site. "Wow, remind me to never get on your bad side" She stated as she was looking at the felled tree, Lagiel just nodded absentmindedly, "How is this even possible? I could never do this back on earth." She muttered to herself.

"Did you say something?" Kyleena asked back. To her question, Lagiel just shook her head. "Nothing that matters, I just feel weird. I mean I ran for a short time, but with a speed that shouldn't be possible for the old me. But at the same time, I tire way too fast. Back home I was able to run a marathon, but here I wouldn't be able to run for 10km or so before collapsing. But at the same time, I feel like I am faster than Lightning, the fastest short distance runner from Earth."

When the guys arrived, they were shocked at the sight of the fallen tree and the destruction it caused in its wake. "What on Earth has happened here?" cried out Garrot, his deep voice laced with bewilderment and a touch of fear.

Kyleena pointed at Lagiel "She was mad..." she shrugged "Now she is just confused so no need to be afraid of her." She tried to rectify when everyone was looking at Lagiel scared. Who was lost in her confusing day without even being able to understand the words said around her. She was shocked at her strength and weakness at the same time. While she also realized that Biology was much much more complex than, how she saw it during her high school days. Muscle "strength" can be derived into the three physical categories: Strength which equates to her burst power, Constitution: which equates to how long she can stay on her peak while doing physical exercise, and finally Dexterity: which decides how effectively her muscles are capable of reacting to her brain.

Following this thought pattern Intellect should define how fast her brain can make instant decisions, or it is the so-called intuition. And Wisdom is more of a long-range planner capability. But then what is Charisma? And Essence? Well, Essence should be the soul of a person. But Charisma... is it how one looks like? Definitely not. Is it ones blood? That can't be true. I mean who would give you discounts for your blood type! That is just ludicrous... What other possibilities are there? Speaking manners? Not necessarily if it was then there wouldn't be a need to separate it from intellect. It seemed as if charisma was something unexplainable, it just was. Well, it wasn't like she was the brightest tool in the shed and she knew that. She never had been. Back on Earth, she loved to laze in school, and when she was caught by the teachers, she always seemed to be able to talk her way out of it.

As she was thinking about all of these seemingly uninteresting and banal things, all from her falling a tree. The others were more concerned about the case of, them taking the place of the tree, to be the one on whom she would take out her ire. All of them vowing to try to never get on her bad side and stay away from her when she was having one of the... Ummm... girly "times" so to speak to not offend anyone who is having those times...

"Ehem..." Theron tried to break the uncomfortable silence. "The day is going on and we have nowhere to sleep yet. We should make a camp and start preparing for the night."

"Hmmm... The idea is sound, and we don't know what to expect from the woods." Melior turned serious "Someone will have to be awake all time. The best would be if we swapped every two hours so that everyone can sleep for more or less 8 hours." Kyleena jumped up quite quickly to that. "Lagiel and I can gather some wood for the campfire we will need through the night." The sound of her name woke Lagiel up from her reverie and she was looking around quite lost. "Sorry was someone talking?" As they were all avid gamers, taking up a character's persona and the characters name, was quite easy since they did grow accustomed to others calling them through their in-game name."Yeah, come, come, fast we need to gather wood for the campfire Lag." Kyleena was skipping around her enthusiastically. As Lagiel found it quite adorable, she didn't even lash out at her, for using the hateful nickname Melior invented for her. She just giggled at her childishness and shrugged. "Why not. It seems like it would be fun."

As the girls left Garrot shuddered, and asked fearfully. "Ummm... do you remember where the clearing was? I never had a good sense of direction to be perfectly honest with you guys." Theron chuckled at that. "Don't worry I do know where we are." He put some unneeded emphasis on the do, just to annoy his newly found friend. When they got back to the clearing Melior started putting out the sleeping rolls they got from the system when they chose their classes. While the gnome was doing occupying himself with the sleeping rolls, Theron and Garrot gathered rocks with what they could encircle the fire.

In the meantime, the girls gathered a few cords of wood and were heading back. "Are you feeling better Lagiel?" asked Kyleena worried about her. "Frankly I am far from okay..." Lagiel shook her head." I am quite far from it actually... My whole life has turned around pretty much instantly you know." She let out a long, suffering sigh. "Well, I kinda know how you feel... I mean, back on Earth I had a boyfriend, a loving family and all. Here? We are nearly alone..." Kyleena replied in a depressed tone, which was followed by a hollow laughter. "And I was a guy back on Earth..." That shook Kyleena out of her woolgathering. " Wait, what? you were a guy? So that is why you were so shocked... And that is also why you snapped at Melior when he called you beautiful..." and she was back to her musings again nearly without interruption. The only difference was that she was thinking about something else now. But the muttering of Kyleena was starting to get on Lagiel's nerves. "Can you stop muttering about my situation?" She lashed out irritatedly " I get it I am a rare animal an ex-male, but you don't have to point that out to my face!" Kyleena put her hands up in the air defensively, letting all the wood fall out from her grasp. "Oh fuck me..." Kyleena looked at the sprawled wood then sighed. "Look Lagiel, I am sorry if this came out the wrong way. It wasn't my intention to make you feel like some kind of a rare animal or something like that. " After that, she started picking up the wood again while muttering under her breath." Stupid wood...Why you so slippery?... Again you try to get away?"

When the girls got back the camp was ready and waiting for them only the fire was missing. They could even see some traveling rations, like hardtack biscuits and dried jerky. Melior Garret and Theron were talking about their past lives and chewing on some biscuits.

"I guess we don't need anything else for our meals, now do we?" Kyleena asked as she threw the firewood down beside them.

"Well, for now, we are good, but we should go exploring and hunting tomorrow if time lets us. " Garrot grunted at her cynism clearly still quite resentful about the whole jab to the face thing, that Kyleena pulled on him.

"Garrot and his 'sweetheart' will go hunting tomorrow then." Theron gave Garrot a sickly sweet smile. "It is settled then," Lagiel clapped her hands before Kyleena or Garrot could protest." You two clearly need to work some stuff out, from before." She promptly ran away when Kyleena started chasing her. "Get back here you filthy, backstabbing elf!" Kyleena screamed after her, as Lagiel was running with a tingling laughter just ahead of her.

While the girls were playing 'a game of tag' around the camp the guys made the campfire and started heating the dry meat for consumption. They called the girls back when they deemed the dinner presentable. They started eating without a sound, no one willing to break the soothing silence. After dinner, they all bade good night and they all went to sleep, except Kyleena who had first watch.

Lagiel put down her head and slowly drifted into a dreamless slumber, to low chirrs of the cicadas around them.
