49 David's plan - Phase I

Next Day, Reena's Cafe.

David was sitting in near window seat and waiting for Austin. He had a calm expression on his face and he stood up when he saw Austin entering through the door.

"Quite punctual." David said as he sat back and looked at his wristwatch.

Austin was in no mood to chit-chat with David about his puntuality. He just sat on the chair in front of him.

"Just say what you want, I have no time to waste." Austin said as he looked at his wristwatch.

Just when Austin said this, David smiled in his mind. For him, it was just the perfect timing to execute his plan's first phase. But keeping the serious expression. "You might have found that camera but what about its recordings?" David said as he showed a pen drive to him.

Austin's expression turned black but at the same time he got confused. Austin started to think that what's the point of telling this to him.

"And...what if these get uploaded by your phone on dark net?" David said as he showed Austin's phone to him.

This was shocking, it was not like Austin was unconscious or anything then how did he not notice his phone being taken by someone? This work was done by the famous Pickpocket who was known by the name Phantom in the world of thieves. He came as waiter to give menu. David had paid this pickpocket a big sum of money to do this.

"How did you...not the point. Just give me back the phone." Austin said in somewhat calm tone as he knew he cannot fight in a public place.

"Hmm, I can..but what would I get?" David said with a smirk on his face.

Keeping the fact that his phone and god knows what kind of picture that pen drive holdin his head, Austin kept his calm expression and said "Whatever you ask. Just give me the pen drive and my phone"

Just at this perfect moment, David smiled and took out some papers from his bag and gave a pen to him and asked to sign those papers without any questions.

"Ok, I have done signing now hand me the phone and pen drive"

As a fair deal, David handed the phone and pen drive to him and walked out of the cafe. Austin was in a hurry these days and today was no different. As David went, he just left the cafe. Austin as well left the cafe without giving second thoughts to what he might have signed.

Dawson Residence

"So, you will not go?" Ally's father asked.

"No, I promised my friend that I'll come. Why don't you take Ally with you? It will be a good experience for her." Ally's mother said.

Mr. & Mrs. Dawson were deciding about a party which they were supposed to go. Usually Mr. & Mrs. Dawson would go together and Ally would stay as she had no interest in all these.

"Ally, tomorrow you will come with me to a colleague's party as your mother is not going." Ally's father said.

Ally just nodded her head and started reading the book she was reading.

The next day

Evening, 7:30 pm. The Royal Park Hotel

This hotel was booked by the Texas industries to hold their party. They chose this hotel as the Texas company holds 50% of partnership.

Ally & his father reached at the destination.

Ally was wearing a beautiful long shoulder off teal dress, with her hair styled in side braids from sides and rest of the hair were kept open.

"Let's meet Mr. Texas and congratulate him." Mr. Dawson said.

"Ok dad." Ally said and went with her father.

Just like Ally, today Austin was supposed to stick with his father all the time and technically get bored, but his boredom somehow went away as he saw Ally and her father coming towards them.

"Hey! Congratulations for 50 years!" Ally's father said.

"Hey! Thanks for the wishes! But..hmm who is this beautiful young lady?" Mr. Texas said as he shook hands with Mr. Dawson and hugged him as a thanks.

"This is my daughter Ally." Mr. Dawson said as he introduced her.

Ally greeted and congratulated Mr. Texas. Both of them started talking and getting busy. Just when Mr. Texas noticed that Ally & Austin both had started to get bore, he said to Austin "Son, go show Ally around a bit and get some food too."

"Yeah, ok." Austin said

Taking his father's orders Austin went with out with Ally and showed the area near hotel.

"Are you going to walk in that posture for the whole time now?" Ally asked

The whole time in party and even right now Austin was walking with his hands at the back.

"Ah..well..."

"Hmm, this fountain is beautiful but I am kinda hungry..." Ally said.

As it was dinner time, the buffet was set and starters were already being served. Both of them tried some of the starters and ice cream.

"Austin, Sam won't come. He said he has stomache" Mike said as he joined them out of nowhere.

"Suddenly?" Austin asked.

"Well, I don't know.." Mike said as he shrugged his shoulders and went back as his father called him.

The party was quite good, the hall was filled with people, the music was playing nicely in backgound. Everyone was enjoing the party.

"By the way..I forgot to say...you are looking beautiful today..as usual.." Austin said but when he said this he realised that something was wrong with his sentence.

"As usual?? Austin, why the hell would you say that? That is like the most cheesy flirting line.. Ahh...damn it!" Austin thought to himself

"As usual as in..."

"I got it sir." Ally said before he could complete his sentence.
