48 Phone call

"Bad guy..what do you mean, sir?" Ally asked with a confused expression.

"Hmm, nothing...you should rest and I will be going now." Austin said.

On the other hand, David was feeling frustrated by his failure of the plan. He was thinking that if this Austin had never appeared his plan would've been done successful.

Though Ally was not bothered by David as much as Austin but she was a bit confused that David can go to such extent. But without giving more thoughts to this matter she decided to sleep and rest.

Texas Industries

CEO'S Office.

"So..why'd you call me dad?" Austin asked.

"When does your graduation complete?" Austin's father asked as he was looking through the window.

This confused Austin, usually whenever his father calls him in office its either for some meeting that his father won't handle or if he wants to know idea about some plan.

"Well...ah...we have our annual exam in Dec...and I guess they will be done with checking the paper in 1-2 months..." Austin said.

"Its 50th anniversary of Texas industries in two weeks, you know that?" Austin's father said as he turned around and sat on his chair.

"Of course, but why do you ask this?" Austin said

"Hmm, nothing. Actually you should go home." Austin's father said.

Austin wanted to ask what's going on in his father's head but he somehow knew that his father will let him know about it, so he just went back to his home.

National airport, Country I

"Why are you here to pick us up and not Ally?" Ally's father asked in a strict and kinda irritated manner.

"Ally got a sprain on her ankle. So, please cooperate with me Mr & Mrs. Dawson." Alena said.

If you are thinking why Ally's father would talk to Alena in an irritated manner then let me tell you that Ally's father do not like Alena as she is somewhat rude and breaks rule and is not punctual at all. They think that this might influence Ally.

But taking Alena as the most stubborn person on Earth, she still sticked with Ally until now without caring what Mr. Dawson thinks.

"So, is Ally fine?" Austin asked when Sabrina entered in base house.

"I didn't visit her today sir. But why are you asking this literally everyday? Don't tell me you are already..."

"What bullshit! I just asked as a team mate.Austin does not fall in love and losing the bet...oh please!" Austin said.

"When did I mention love or the bet sir?" Sabrina asked with an innocent expression on her face.

Austin literally was dumbfounded here. Poor guy... But maybe he has started to feel something? Even if so, Austin was busy in planning the Texas Industries 50th anniversary that he had no time to figure out what was going on in his heart or mind. According to the bet, out of the duration of three months, one month had already passed and in that one month Austin was with Ally.

Before Austin could respond to Sabrina, his phone started to ring. The same unknown number appeared that appeared that day. Austin knew it was David but he still picked up the phone because he knew that even if he hangs up without picking, he will call again.

"What is it David?" Austin asked.

"My, my..have you fallen in love with me or something? I did not even speak and you knew I called?"

"You used the same number." Austin said.

"Oh...so you hate me still?"

"Yes I do." Austin said with some happiness in his tone.

"Hmm, well I will just come to the point. Meet me at Reena's Cafe tomorrow in the evening 6:00 pm." David said and hung up the phone.

This was confusing, David won't invite his own enemy from front. And the thing that confused Austin more was that David's tone on the phone sounded Friendly rather than Hostile.
