The guard tries to push her back, but Grace skillfully seizes his arm and expertly throws him to the ground before handcuffing him.
Determined, Grace proceeds down a long hallway, venturing deeper into the strip club. More guards come rushing towards her, but she fearlessly engages them, launching a flurry of punches and kicks, dispatching them one by one. The relentless pursuit leads her through the crowded dance floor, where patrons cheer and continue reveling in the midst of the chaotic fight.
Navigating through the lively atmosphere, Grace's eyes catch a glimpse of the hooded man, who seems to be making his escape from the upper booths. With a surge of determination, she darts towards his direction, determined to apprehend her target. Grace sprints down a lengthy corridor, her path obstructed by a group of fifteen waiting guards. Unwavering determination gleams in her eyes as she assumes a resolute stance. Meanwhile, the hooded man reaches the boss's room, hastily alerting him to the presence of the approaching police. Acting quickly, he unlocks a small vault box within the room, retrieving a gun and pointing it towards the door. The boss expresses regret, remarking that he should never have taken the hooded man in. In response, the hooded figure passionately argues that they are family and must support one another during trying times. Suddenly, the sound of a fierce struggle emanates from the door, surprising the boss who realizes that Grace is single-handedly battling the group of fifteen guards.
With a powerful front kick, Grace shatters the door, breaching the room. Startled, the hooded man hastily fires his gun, but Grace skillfully ducks and rolls behind a nearby table. Employing her strength, she hurls the table's top towards the hooded man, disarming him. Grace seizes the opportunity, launching a swift kick that sends the hooded man hurtling through a nearby window, crashing onto the back stairs below. Casting a brief glance at the boss, who raises his hands in surrender, Grace leaps through the shattered window, apprehending the hooded man.
Grace charges him with first-degree murder, reciting the Miranda rights as she does so. However, the hooded man resists, adamantly claiming to be REVA. Disagreeing with his assertion, Grace proceeds to handcuff him. Undeterred, the hooded man reveals that he merely acted out what he witnessed in his dreams, perceiving it as his inevitable future. Before he can finish speaking, his eyes abruptly darken, turning pitch black. With astounding ease, he breaks free from the handcuffs, surprising Grace. She retaliates with a kick, but to her astonishment, it has no effect on him. Mockingly, the hooded man remarks that he knows who Grace is. Undeterred, Grace launches a punch, yet the hooded man remains unfazed. Muttering to himself, he questions whether they would be upset if Grace were to perish. With a forceful shove, the hooded man sends Grace crashing into the wall. Blood trickles from his nose as he comments on his "fragile body." Seizing the opportunity, Grace discloses that she remembers him as the one responsible for her father's death. The hooded man's expression twists in disgust, remarking that her "colors are ugly." In a playful gesture, he waves at Grace before leaping down the stairs, falling four flights and breaking his neck instantly.
Experiencing pain, Grace struggles to her feet, overcome by disappointment. Her colleagues arrive at the scene, stunned by the sight of the lifeless hooded man lying below. He extends an invitation for her to visit the church anytime to discuss about their lord and savior, handing her a church flyer. Grace nods in acknowledgment. Gabriel proceeds to share an address, "2409 Dam Street," suggesting that they may need her assistance. Intrigued yet puzzled, Grace embarks on a journey to the address on foot, noticing a police car nearby the house. Approaching the residence, she knocks, but there is no response. As she ascends the house, she detects the sound of voices emanating from an upstairs room. Entering the room, she discovers a trembling priest reciting biblical verses, while two police officers struggle to restrain an elderly man possessed by an unseen force. The old man screams and attempts to bite the officers. Spotting Grace, the officers seek her assistance. She approaches and observes a lifeless elderly woman lying on the floor nearby.
As Grace approaches the police officers and the old man, a sudden silence falls upon the room. The old man's intense gaze fixates on her, and with a burst of strength, he hurls one of the cops across the room, landing on top of the lifeless old woman. The cop's face recoils in horror as it touches the cold visage of the deceased. Acting swiftly, Grace immobilizes the old man, but he effortlessly breaks free from the restraints on his legs. With a remarkable display of agility, he executes a jump flip, sending both Grace and the remaining cop flying across the room, colliding with the cop that is already on top of the old lady. Meanwhile, the priest ceases his biblical recitation and flees in terror.
Charging toward Grace, the old man becomes the target of her spinning kick, propelling him across the room, causing a nearby shelf to shatter. Overwhelmed by the gruesome scene, one of the cops begins to cry, his mouth tainted with the old lady's blood. The other cop draws his gun, demanding the old man to stay down, but Grace realizes he won't comply. Just as the cop's finger trembles on the trigger, the old man covers his ears in agony, collapsing to the floor. Jayden confidently enters the room, holding the Bible and declares, "Go back to where you came from in the name of the Lord!" The old man screams in pain, then falls unconscious.
Amazed by Jayden's actions, Grace follows him outside the house. Jayden approaches the other trembling priest who is on his knees, fervently praying to the Lord. He advises the priest that this job isn't meant for him, as his "words weren't pure of light," emphasizing that spirits can sense fear. Jayden offers a reassuring pat on the priest's back. Curious about Jayden's identity, Grace inquires about his name. Jayden suggests that she visit the church sometime. He hops into a car and drives away, leaving the frightened priest to run after the departing vehicle, desperately pleading for Jayden not to leave him behind.
The following day, Grace drives to the church, her mind filled with questions about Jayden's identity, feeling a sense of familiarity without being able to pinpoint the connection. Stepping out of her car, she enters the church and takes a seat amidst a large crowd of devoted followers gathered to listen to Father Gabriel's speeches about the Lord and Savior. Jayden turns around, noticing Grace's presence, and warmly embraces her, bowing his head in acknowledgment. Sitting beside her, Grace notices Mako yawning and he suggests that if she ever gets bored of Father Gabriel's sermons. Holly chimes in, explaining that it's all part of Jayden's journey to better understand the ways of the saints. James hushes them, reminding them not to interrupt the words of the Lord, and leads them in prayer.
After Father Gabriel's speech concludes, most of the congregation leaves the church. Jayden and his friends approach Father Gabriel, inquiring about any tasks he may have for them. Gabriel hands Jayden a report paper, explaining that everything they need to know is detailed within it, and expresses gratitude for their willingness to undertake the assignment. Gabriel then asks who will accompany Jayden, and all three of his friends eagerly volunteer. Gabriel clarifies that the job is graded as a C-level task and that their payment will be divided among the five of them, including Grace, who quietly bows to introduce herself. Jayden and his friends introduce themselves as well, with Holly noticing Grace's presence on the news and Mako taking an interest in her. James remains oblivious to Grace's identity. Jayden questions Grace about her interest in this line of work as a cop. Nervously, Grace responds that she aspires to be the first ghost cop. James struggles to contain his laughter, prompting Holly to gently nudge him. Mako looks at Jayden and offers a soft clap of approval, to which Jayden nods. Hours later, in a pizza store, Grace exits the bathroom and walks to the back to find James rolling dough, Mako expertly spinning it on his hand, and Holly applying makeup in the office. Grace moves to the lobby, where Jayden is studying various documents. Seating herself across from him, Grace questions his use of the term "pure of light" and how one speaks words of such purity. Jayden calmly explains that it's quite simple - speaking the words of the Lord with confidence and sincerity from the heart. He adds that fear and lack of belief in the Lord can taint the purity of the words. Observing Grace's resilience towards ghosts, possession, and exorcism, Jayden comments that she must have had prior experiences. After several more hours, they arrive at a factory where workers are diligently assembling pillows. They navigate through the bustling aisles and enter an office room. Mako warmly invites Grace into his business, revealing that this is the headquarters of the Ghost team. Mako retreats to the back rooms to attend to some paperwork. Jayden retrieves the report paper and explains that tonight they will be working with a woman named Mary, who claims to be haunted by an evil spirit every night. Intrigued, Grace inquires about everyone's roles. Jayden clarifies that Mako is responsible for providing and managing the equipment, James serves as the main cameraman, and Holly takes on the role of the team's primary host/MC. He adds that they also create content from their investigations, aiming to educate the world about the existence of ghosts. Curious, Grace asks how many times they have embarked on such tasks. Holly replies with enthusiasm, stating that they have done it twice, and they already have over 5,000 followers.
