"Cecilia, long time no see." Came the woman's voice as a dark chuckle followed.
"Anna?" Cecilia was startled, her eyes widened as she couldn't wait for the person to identify herself.
The person over the phone let out a low laugh. "Do you still get in touch with that bitch?" The woman's voice sounded more humane and gentle as Cecilia heaved a sigh knowing who it was.
"Jessica, you scared the hell outta me." Cecilia exhaled, sitting back on her bed.
"I'm sorry, my little pumpkin. It's been a long I heard from you. You know I wasn't around when you left for Spain and I'm sorry for what those god-damn people did to you." The woman named Jessica sounded apologetic over the phone.
"It's nothing, I've moved on," Cecilia said, a small smile plastered on her face. "So tell me, how have you been? I missed you." She lay on the bed with her legs up, her face brightened in excitement while she talked over the phone with her long-time friend.
