Chapter 10:New Guild A New Quests 2

The big goblin raised its club and smashed at us but we dodged before it landed right on us. With the club still on the ground, Jayden seized the opportunity, Jayden reloaded his bow with his arrow and shot the side stomach of the big goblin.

The big goblin let out a roar of pain I ran to the goblin and slashed its side stomach, the goblin let out a painful roar. The goblin is full of anger and swing his club at me, I just jumped backwards and dodged it. Jayden now seized his opportunity and slashed the goblins leg.

We both just continued dodging and slashing the goblin, the goblin looks weakened. The goblin bent down, I saw my opportunity, I ran at the back of the goblin towards his back neck. I raised my sword and stabbed the part where Jayden stabbed.

The goblin stood up, I just held on my sword, the goblin wiggled and spun around, his hand trying to get me. I just move myself around to dodge the goblins arm. The goblin stopped, it looked like it was not moving, suddenly the goblin was falling and fell to the ground flat face, it was dead.

We both panted

"Haha, good work" Jayden complicated me

"Yeah, good work" I replied back

I went to the goblin

"Hey, help me turn this bug up face, they said we need its belt" I said to Jayden

We carried and pushed the goblin up face, I undo the lock of the belt, we turned him around so that his body was not on top of the belt. Now the ogre, we went back to the village and showed the quest giver the belt and got our reward, we are not carrying the big belt around, it's heavy.

I took out the scroll and read the ogre hunt quest, it is in...whisperwind forest just west of Silverhaven, we went out of town. We went to the west, we could see a big forest, we both entered and followed the track, we looked around to look for a clearing.

*thud thud thud thud*

We heard a heavy walk nearby, we followed the sound.

*Thud thud*

The sound leads into a clearing, I think we found it. We both looked around, there is 9 feet tall, hmm wonder how we can beat that. I heard that ogres are easily tricked, maybe throw a rock somewhere? I'll try.

I picked up a rock and threw it around the clearing, the ogre heard it and went to it and inspected it. We are looking at the back of the ogre.

"Shoot the back neck of the ogre" I said to Jayden

Jayden reloaded his bow and stretched the string, he aimed...

*Swoosh*

Jayden let go of the string, the arrow traveled fast and hit the back neck of the ogre, the arrow seemed like it didn't go deeper in the neck unlike the big goblin. The ogre wailed in pain, and looked around

"Crouch and lets go to the left" Jayden said to me

We crouched and went to the left, we can hear the ogre running towards the place we came from, sh*t this looks like a horror movie. The ogre searched through the area, we saw our opportunity.

We got out of the bush and ran to the ogre, I crouched down in front of Jayden and put my shield over me, Jayden stepped on my shield and launched like a catapult. Jayden raised his dagger and stabbed the wounded back neck. The ogre roared in pain, Jayden held on with his dagger stuck on the neck while the ogre tried to reach behind him.

I could see the dagger didn't penetrate the neck that much. Jayden got his dagger out and landed on the ground. We went away and stood side by side while looking at the ogre, the ogre looked at us and roared at us, the ogre was running towards us.

"Oh sh*t, here he comes" Jayden said while we watch the ogre running at us

The ogre swing his spiked clubs at us, we dodged backwards. Me and Jayden separated, I ran to the left and Jayden ran to the right, we circled the ogre finding the right place to strike or waiting for the right time to strike.

The ogre watched us run around him, he's eyes are locked on me. He swings his club at me, I raised my shield to my right so that I could block the club, wait, block?, no no wait wait WAIT!

*Ting*

*Thud*

The spiky club and my shield made a ting sound, the impact is so strong that I flew away and hit the ground, sh*t I should've dodged that, I looked at my shield, there is a visible trace of a bump of a spike, now I need to buy a new shield.

The ogre jumped and raised his club, he's going to smash me, I rolled to the right*

*Thud*

The club hit the ground, I stood up and looked at the ogre. I saw Jayden running behind the ogre, he jumped behind the ogre and ran to the neck and stabbed the wounded back neck again. The ogre roared and swung his club blindly, I dodged the incoming swing, Jayden took down his dagger and landed on the ground, the ogre looked more angry this time.

He swung his club around while charging at Jayden, Jayden just ran away backwards, the ogre just followed him.

*Chrck*

I heard a sound

*Rrrooooooaaaarrrr!*

The ogre screamed in pain while carrying and holding his right leg, I looked at it closely, it is a bear trap. Jayden might have placed it there while the ogre is attacking me.

Jayden gave a sign, this might be the opportunity that we can kill the ogre. I walked towards the ogre, the ogre's eyes blazed with a mix of fury and fear as it caught sight of my approach, its massive form straining against the unyielding grip of the bear trap. The earth trembled beneath its thrashing, the ground churned up in its desperate attempts to break free.

The ogre readied himself, he's going to fight us with one leg, we both approached the ogre. The ogre limped and swung his club at us, we dodged and ran to him, the ogre saw us and went backwards, suddenly he tripped and laid to the ground.

I ran towards the laying ogre, I jumped to his body, walked to the left of his body and slashed below his left side chest, I might have penetrated the heart. The ogre screamed in pain and agony, the ogre suddenly stood up, I fell to the ground.

I ran to Jayden before the ogre is going to do something, he swings his club towards us while limping. How is the ogre not dead? Wait, no, I could see the ogres eyes weakening, his body is also weakening, we dodged and dodged, suddenly the ogre fell to the ground face-planted.

I'm pretty sure the ogre's heart made him weak, we looked at the ogre, the ogre is still breathing. Jayden and I waited till it took it's lady breath.

"Hell yeah, kill two giants in one day" Jayden said

We rolled the ogre and unbelted it, we took the belt and I carried it, now next is the herb, we looked around for some kind of a flower that blooms

"Found it" Jayden said

I looked at the flower, it looked like a fire herb and glows, Jayden held the herb and put it on a shade of a tree, the glow disappeared.

"Okay that's all, let's go back to Silverhaven" I said to Jayden

We went back to the guild and showed our quests, now how much earning for today? 3,500 plus 3,000 plus 2,200 equals to 8,700 gold coins divided by 2 because we're going to split it is equals to 4,350 Gold coins.

We went back to the inn, and we saw Kirby sitting.

"So how's the quests?" I asked Kirby

"Yeeaaaahhh, I only earned 1,500 gold coins, couldn't find the waterbloom so I gave back the quests" Kirby replied

"1,500 is a lot for you, well I remembered our most first quests is to eliminate goblins, I earned 253 while this guy earned 280 thanks to the goblin's loot, oh yeah, it's getting night now, why not go to the guild and eat? I'm kind of tired and hungry after the missions" I said to Kirby and to the two

They both agreed and all went to the guild and ordered, I tasted my order, it tasted good but can't compare to Luminaria's guild foods, thinking about Luminaria gives memories tho. We all ate and talked stories and laughed after eating

We joined some random people to drink some beer, hoooooo, what a day, the three of us bid farewell to the random people and went to our inns, we went to our rooms and slept instantly after the effects of the beer. Bozo
