Hey kiddos, it's me Chinohana you're favourite cicada back at it again with the white vans... I mean recap.

So, I'll tell you what happened yesterday after the hardcore test that I gave Remeil. After my battle with the spider and confrontation with the audacious wind fairy, I took her to my humble abode.

Yes, that's right. The virgin me managed to bring a girl back home before you did, how do you feel?

Anyway, I let her inside my house, but I was very tired when we arrived. It seemed like the battle sucked all the energy out of me. So, my great mind proposed that she should sleep over.

At first, she was a bit reluctant, talking about how I'd touch her panties this and steal them and everything, but hey I blame that on her being crazy.

As the famous quote says, 'no matter how big a hammer you use, you cannot pound common sense into stupid people', so I just stopped trying.

All it took me was saying that I felt a little hungry and she agreed to stay the night. Kekekeke. How odd I wonder why?

[Host you are falling down a slippery path]

"System, I don't think you have felt pain in your life. Don't worry one day I shall show you true pain"

[Malicious energy detected, system retreating. Firewall, Ice wall, Network Wall initialising.... Operation Full Defence in motion]

Gosh, such a drama queen. Anyway, where was I... oh yes, so Remeil stayed the night over.

But I know what you're thinking. Nothing happened okay, nothing. Zilch. Zero! So, don't start getting any silly ideas.

Well, that's it thanks for tuning in.

{Day 10}

After a night of good sleep, I wake up early in the morning to the most annoying of sounds, and of course it is coming from none other than Remeil.

" Taken captive a young maiden fairy, struggled in the night. A dangerous Cicada tried to deflower this maiden it was honestly a terrible sight"

Hey WTAF. Like Remeil, I'm going to honestly to God sue you. Isn't this defamation of character, you're ruining my image with your inconsiderate lies.

I didn't do anything guys, trust me. This witch she's trying to frame me.

"LAWYERS! WHERE'S, MY LAWYERS!"

The fairy girl innocently looks at me as if she has done nothing wrong.

"Huh, what are lawyers? Stop spouting nonsense Chino."

"What do you mean spouting nonsense! Just because you are an uneducated buffoon. And when did I say you could start calling me Chino, huh?

"Well, that's your name isn't it, don't tell me you're not going to use it."

"...", my mouth freezes. She does have a good point there. Fine, since I'm feeling nice, I'll let her use it.

My eyes give in.

"So, like why did you ask me to stay over and everything? Actually, give me a second, I already know the answer. You want my panties, that's it right? But unfortunately, I cannot give them to you, I'll only hand them over to my partner of love!"

A lewd smile etches itself on the young wind fairy's face, as she imagines God knows what.

"NONONONO, that's not it. Nobody gives a damn about your goddamn panties"

"EEK!"

Breathe Chino, breathe. If you can't handle this much, then how are you going to make any progress in your life. This is a test from the heavens, they are just testing your patience. If you kill her then you lose, resist the urge. RESIST.

"Okay if my undergarments aren't the reason, then why'd you call me over?", the young girl asks innocently.

My brain freezes from embarrassment. How do I say I'm feeling lonely, and I want a companion whilst acting cool. Come on there must be a way.

I bet Levi Ackermann, could pull it off, he makes everything seem cool. Come on Chino, think like Levi, be one with Levi, today you are Levi.

"Look around Remeil, at these big ass trees"

"Huh?"

Gosh, yeah this isn't going to work. I might as well just straight up say it.

"Well... lately I've thought that it would be nice, to have a companion. It wouldn't hurt to take someone under my wing, to teach them and be by them. Actually, it would be an honour for an individual. They should be ecstatic. So, I was wondering if you want to stay around or something, you know just chill.

The wind fairy looks at me for like 15 seconds with a blank facial expression, before it changes into a devilish expression.

"So, basically you're lonely"

"No"

"Ooh look our cute little cicada is lonely. How sad."

"I'm not, I'm not lonely. Stop talking nonsense woman!"

"Oh, so you're not lonely. Then I see no reason that I should join you, I might as well take my leave."

Remeil, walks towards the entrance of the grove, her back turned against me. Will she really leave she wouldn't, would she?

Second by second, she gets further and further away. It reminds me of the memory in my past life that I received where my mother left me. I can't have someone leave me again. No not this time.

As she approaches the exit I shout out.

"WAIT! I'm lonely, I'm lonely okay. There I admit it. So, would you please stay with me and be my companion."

Remeil turns around straight away as if she is expecting this.

"Well, well, well, the mighty cicada finally caves in. I guess, I'll stick around for a while. You should be honoured though. H-o-n-o-u-r-e-d, that such an esteemed person such as I am your companion okay. Rejoice be in joy.

A silent sigh escapes my mouth.

'There is no winning against this woman, is there', however I cannot deny the fact that at this moment I'm feeling happy. Here in this new world, I've made my very first companion.

I stay still for a moment, breathing in the cool air that is circulating the room. Excitement flowing through my body, as I'm filled with a sense of euphoria. So, this is what it feels like to have a first friend?

[Wow, host that hurts I thought I was your first friend. :(]

Wait, is the system upset. I can hear a tinge of sadness and bitterness in its voice. Serves it right it's been getting a bit mouthy these days.

Why do I feel the great pressure, of someone looking at me in my mind. Don't tell me that the system is seriously upset.

Well, it has helped me out and been with me since the beginning. It can be annoying but also funny and informative, I guess it wouldn't hurt to be a bit nice.

'Hey system, you might not be my first friend, but I consider you as... family... okay so don't be upset'

What did this stupid hunk of junk say, and I was trying to be nice.

[Well thank you anyway]

Retracting previous statement, no longer hunk of junk but just junk. Okay, now let's stop with all the mushy, mushy talk. Enough talking about feelings.

'Go die feelings!'

After, relaxing and talking with Remeil for a bit. I ponder what to do next. What should I do now, I wonder?

Remeil talked something about there being stronger opponents deeper in the forest, so that wouldn't sound so bad. I mean the quicker I get stronger, the quicker I get a humanoid form. That should be my next goal, although I have a small feeling that I'm forgetting about something.

Whilst I'm in my state of thought, Remeil blurts out something from the top of her head.

"Chino, I may not be strong, but I'll fight with you. Well mainly hide behind you, but if there is any spiders, I'll make sure to harass them. KEKEKEKE!"

Wait, hold on go back a second. What did she just say? Hide behind me, no, she said something else. Oh, yes harassing spiders.

Spiders, spiders, spiders.

"Ahhh, I remember now, how could I forget!"

"Huh, what did you forget?"

Thanks to Remeil's sudden statement I remember about my desired revenge that I'd seem to have forgotten about. To think I'd forget about something so important, it almost slipped past my mind.

An evil ominous grin starts forming on my face.

"Hey, Chino what's with that face, you're creeping my out!"

"Wow, that hurts Remeil, ouch. But don't worry, I'm not smiling for no good reason. Something very good is happening, something that both you and I will enjoy. You see we'll be going on a little field trip before embarking deeper into the forest.

The wind fairy looks at me with a face of both high expectation and confusion.

"Field trip?"
