ELIZABETH’S ESPECIAL DAY

"Sir it is that day" As an alarm goes off as the AI reports.

"It's that day huh?" Lucifer says as he reminisces.

The last weeks had not been kind on the boy genius, many sleepless nights came to him, as he worked. Constant reports on the arrogant prick called Ross, of how he went on a man hunt for doctor banner, all over the US territory, while constantly blaming everyone or everything for his constant failures, while it is obvious his intent for the Hulk is something less heroic and more fueled by his insane greed. God! It was hard not offing the guy! And were it not for the guy's usefulness down the line, Lucifer may yet go ahead with it.

Then came his second largest headache. The need of Lucifer's assistance to (babysit) move the Hulk to places he couldn't hurt anyone, while unseen, while also taking blood samples from the doctor, when in human form and threw some minor brawls, sample in his hulk form, thankfully this time with his weapon and magic as backup, all while being mindful never to get discovered, or go insane like the first time.

All the crime activity of gangs and other vicious scum in the streets of New York, which burdened Lucifer after he widened his area of operation, even needing the assistant of his Shadow Corps, to lessen the weight of his activities. All this while needing to keep S.H.I.E.L.D/HYDRA and other organizations from zoning in on him and at the same time keeping tabs on them while within, and checking their reactions to his diverse actions. 'The not too close to the fire it burns and not to fire away it freezes, conundrum' Thinks Lucifer.

Not mentioning, his search for Star-Lord, Xandar, The Collector, The Ravagers, Vomira and his special pet project, which proved harder than expected even while using magic, due to reasons unknown to Lucifer, yet he could feel the meddling of a cosmic power, throwing the proverbial monkey wrench into the works, nonetheless, with time to spare Lucifer was not worried, however, that did not mean the perpetuator had no hell to pay, but all will be collected a later date.

The preparation of contingencies for all eventualities and contingencies for those contingencies. As well as the implementation of some long term plans. Including preparations to talk to the watcher, since the guy has started to try and pry into his mind, since a night he noticed Lucifer, while acting as Samael. Thankfully, Lucifer managed to throw him off when it came time to hang the cape, while also never allowing him to enter his mind, though Lucifer doubted The Watcher would like what he saw inside, it would not fly with Lucifer to allow that to happen, so he would talk the guy and get him to fuck off once and for all.

Finally one of his biggest time consumers where the improvement of his own abilities, whether physical, psychological or mystical. As they say, a professional pianist that doesn't practice a day loses three days' worth of skill and while this may never be Lucifer's case, he has long fallen enamored with the feeling of getting stronger or learning more.

"But finally after all of that, one of the most important days is finally beginning" Lucifer says as he takes and object from a secret vault in his work desk, takes the elevator and goes to the living area of his building.

Early morning, Elizabeth was currently sleeping, were as she would normally have woken up long ago, days of managing the ever growing company took its toll, she was currently too tired to wake up, yet a heavenly aroma that wafted over ensured she would not be able to remain in her sweet dreams.

"Mhmm...? What's that smell…?" A sleepy Elizabeth said as she raised her head to look at the clock beside her bed.

"Smell…?" She thought, while whipping her eyes slowly.

Jolting in place, she lowered her hands, revealing big, wide, open eyes that expressed and unbelievable amount of shock.

"NINE O'CLOCK! OH NO! MASTERS BREAKFAST!" Cried Elizabeth as she moved faster than the wind, exiting her room as she headed for the kitchen, falling to notice how she still wore her nightgown in her rush. "I'M THE WORST MAID!"

At the moment, Lucifer worked on creating the perfect breakfast, for the perfect woman, supervising the drones he had sent to do house hold chores and the ones which helped him set up the breakfast table.

A rumble could be heard approaching by the hall, noticing this Lucifer, turned around beaming a smile as he was about to say the words, when he noticed the figure which closed in on him, more accurately what the figure wore.

As Elizabeth turned the hall she saw a figure standing in the kitchen, a handsome boy, with sparkling green eyes, that shined as stars, was currently staring at her while gawking. It was not until she was but a couple of feet away, that she noticed the nature of his surprise, as she followed his gaze and found it's point of origin. A familiar scarlet covered her beautiful face as slowly razed her face and found something that caught her eye.

'That must be from the new catalog of Vic…'

'Seriously butterfly shaped lingerie! So lucky!'

'They've grown bigger haven't they?'

'Wait is that!? It is isn't it! Shaved!!!'

'They, they are poking aren't they?'

A flurry of thoughts went off in Lucifer's mind as he observed the sexy mature maid in a see through nightgown.

'AHHHHHH!'

'It's quite big isn't it!?'

'No Elizabeth what are you thinking!'

And at the same time a flurry of thoughts go out in Elizabeth's mind as well.

As both look down they can't help but glow red and hot, as they mentally scream.

'SO EMBARRASSING!'

Not being able to take it, Elizabeth runs off.

Leaving only a flustered Lucifer to calm his thoughts. Yet as he stares blankly into space, a compelling thought that comes from the pit of any healthy young male's dreams and aspirations drives him to place his hands together and bow.

"Thanks for the feast!"

Now sitting at the table, two emberrased figures prepare to eat, while in complete silence, not knowing how to start a conversation.

It was until the first bite was taken out of that magnificent breakfast however, that Elizabeth's voice broke the silence.

"Young master this is great!" Elizabeth gleefully chimed.

"Is it really to your liking?" Lucifer inquired.

"Yes! Really! It is the best thing I have tasted young master. It seems out of this world!"

'Of course it would seem that way my gorgeous Eli, I used every trick I know of, scientifically or magical, not to mention rare ingredients from everywhere, just for this' He thinks with a smile, yet only utters "I'm glad you liked it, I made it just for you, I hope you enjoy"

"Jmmm, thank you young master. I definitely will!" Answers Elizabeth with enthusiasm.

'I swear I can almost see stars in her eyes' Lucifer thinks, as he stares at her eating vigorously 'So cute'

Although eating vigorously, Elizabeth couldn't help but feel someone's stare. As she looked up she locked eyes with her young master, who couldn't seem to hide the mirth in his eyes, as he had watched her eat, causing a faint blush to appear on her face.

"AH!" Elizabeth exclaimed as she finally caught on to something.

"Young master you aren't eating!" The maid pointed out, as she finally let go of her fork.

"Hahahaha! You only notice now? Seriously how good is it?" Lucifer chuckles at his maid's reaction.

Emberrased Elizabeth lowers her head and falls silent. Moments later she pushes her food Lucifer's direction.

"Young master here, you must eat it, I'm sorry I already started on some of it, but you can eat what I haven't, it's really good. I shall just prepare something for myself" Elizabeth says, as she starts to get up, yet she is stopped by Lucifer's next words.

"I'm not going to eat it. It's yours" Lucifer pronounces while looking at his maid with a rare serious expression.

"But young master you made this yourself because I was neglecting my work, it's obviously yours I shouldn't…" Elizabeth says in a burst of emotion, some tears threatening to fall.

"Don't be silly, it's not made for anyone else in the universe other than yourself Eli" Lucifer says with a warm gaze, as he takes her hand in his.

"But master I woke up late today, I neglected your breakfast, I didn't do my job. I didn't hear the alarm and dozed off" She says while trying to shake his grip.

"What are you talking about?" Lucifer says while locking his finger in between hers.

"You didn't wake up early because I muted the clock, because today…" He begins to explain.

"WHAT?" Elizabeth screams.

"Why did you do that?"

"Did you know how concerned I was, I thought I had let you starve!" Elizabeth says in a quick outburst.

"Why did you do this young master!?" She questions.

"I did it because…" Lucifer says.

"Come to think of it, why were you in the kitchen so early master? You usually train at this hour don't you?" She rambles.

"I was…"

"Wait is this my farewell gift master?"

"Have you found a different maid?"

"Are my services no longer required?"

She rapidly says.

"Don't fire me young masterrrrrr!" She screams while gripping his hand hard, while tears threaten to almost burst out.

*Tap*

A light tap falls on her head, as she begins to feel warmth invade her, letting her calm down and even easing some of the stress she had built up.

"Listen to me!" Lucifer forcefully says after calming her down.

"Fire you!? What the hell?! Who would do that!? Not when having such a thoughtful, kind, charming, enchanting, sexy, beautiful, golden hearted, caring, perfect woman like you beside them! NO! You are staying with me forever! You got that!?" Lucifer yells, startling Elizabeth.

"I muted your clock because I wanted you to sleep in, I wanted you to sleep in because I wanted you to feel refreshed, and I wanted you to feel refreshed because today is a special day!" Lucifer continues.

"Special? Why is it special young master?" Elizabeth interrupts.

"You really don't remember do you?" Lucifer says while looking at Elizabeth.

"N-No I…" She stammers.

"Today is Elizabeth's special day. Today is your birthday Eli!" Lucifer says.

"EHHHH!" Elizabeth cries out.

Now calm, Elizabeth says "So that's why master was in the kitchen preparing breakfast"

"Yes, it's because of that. You make it sound like I'm never here" Lucifer says grumpily.

"It's because you never are" Elizabeth laughs and says

"So my birthday huh… I had forgotten about it" She says as she stares at the food.

"Yes, for years you'd never tell me, so I had to get creative to find out… not to mention finding you a perfect gift didn't allow me to celebrate earlier, even though it's been some years since I found out…" Lucifer says, yet only whispers the last part.

"Thank you young master" Elizabeth says with a warm smile on her face, gentleness as warm as the sun rays could be felt from this smile.

"Yes, now finish your food, it'll grow cold" Lucifer ushers.

"Hehehe, thanks dad" Elizabeth teases.

"O-Oh right, I got you a present Elizabeth, it being you birthday and all" Lucifer stutters to say, while bringing out a black box with a white ribbon, trying with all his might to not seem shy about his gift.

"Oh! No young master, you need not have worried about such a thing, just the breakfast is fine in itself, its more than enough as a present" Elizabeth hastily turns down her master.

"Nonsense, this gift is the same as the food, it can't be for anyone other than yourself, but if you don't want it I guess I must dispose of it" Lucifer says a bit disappointed, as he walks to the trashcan to throw away the present.

"No!" Elizabeth utters as she snatches the gift from her masters hand, wrapping her arms over it in a protective embrace, as if she would never let go.

'Woman, whether in modesty or grandeur, you can never understand them completely' Lucifer thinks as he stares wide eyed.

*Cough*

"I-I mean, since it's my masters first ever present for myself, I thought it would be unbecoming to not receive it. Thank you young master" The maid says seriously, obviously trying to convince herself more than she tried to convince Lucifer.

"Then please open it, it is only for you, I hope you enjoy it" Lucifer says, ignoring such an obvious excuse from his maid.

"Then I will young master" Says the maid in a happy squeal, as she instantaneously and masterfully tears open the packaging, leaving Lucifer to gawk.

As she proceed to take a look her excited smile turn into an astonished expression, as she freezes in place, as though time has stopped, while staring at the box's content.

Inside the box, lied a beautifully handcrafted crystal heart shaped pendant, made out of a seemingly indestructible crystal asteroid, the Shadow Corps had found. Inside the pendant lay the very heart of a newborn star, an incredibly tiny golden sphere, which gave of an incredible pleasing glow, all while realizing a warm and relaxing heat. Framing the heart where small, platinum colored roses, made of an incredibly rare earthly metal. The chains of the pendant were similarly made of the same platinum colored metal, yet where so small sized it, it would give the effect of being none existent when the pendant was worn. While at the bottom a small golden plaque with some text could be seen, it read "For the woman of the pure heart. A metaphor no more. With love and care, from Lucifer".

"Do you like it?" Asked a worried Lucifer, after observing Elizabeth's ongoing silence, which he took for dislike.

Snapping her head in his direction, the made stared at Lucifer with her mouth agape.

Seeing this Lucifer's heart tightened. Yet in the next moment Elizabeth rush at him while cradling the box in her chest, causing Lucifer's heart to bet wildly.

Closing his eyes, afraid of whatever was to come, Lucifer jolts as he feels something warm and soft at his cheek, which causes him to open his eyes wide as saucers.

"I loved it Lucifer" Elizabeth utters, with an innocent, beaming smile, which Lucifer could swear was the most dazzling thing he had ever seen.
