32 Chapter 32 The Visit, Trying the Gravity-Controlled Environment

In the room where there are five people inside there, a man can be seen had been dogpiled by the other four women. The man is Ichijou Kanda where he had spent his nighttime with them.

*knock**knock*

A sound of door being knocked can be heard before a voice comes out behind the door, "Kanda-sama, everyone, good morning. It's already 8 in the morning. Please wake up.".

"Hmm?.." Kanda opens his eyes while rubbing it with his finger before talking towards the voice outside while feeling groggy, "Good morning, is that you, Maya?".

"Yes, Kanda-sama." The voice confirmed herself as Maya before she talks again, "I've already prepare everyone's breakfast so I hope that Kanda-sama and others can wake up and eat the breakfast.".

"What about Kio?" He asks her.

"He is already waiting for you downstairs. Chaika-sama also already arrives at the house in the morning and she want you to wake up right now." Maya informed him.

"Ok, Maya. We will go for the breakfast later. Give us 15 minutes to refresh ourselves." Kanda chuckles for a moment before saying those words.

"Alright, Kanda-sama." Maya replied before sound of her footsteps can be heard as she walking to the downstairs.

"Eris, Aoi, Melwin, Manami, please wake up. It's already morning." Kanda glances towards his sides before he speak and moving their body slightly to wake them up.

Their eyebrows twitching for a while before they open their eyes before closing again quickly due to sudden brightness coming towards their eyes.

They opens their eyes slowly when they have adapted to the brightness. They also yawning and stretching their arms wide.

"Good morning, Kanda." They said their greeting towards him while smiling sweetly.

"Good morning, Eris, Aoi, Melwin, Manami. Let's go...Kio and Chaika already waiting for us." Kanda said that after returned back their greeting.

"Alright~" They said that and start going to their room to change their clothes before meeting with him again and going downstairs together.

When they arriving at the dining table, they can see Maya, Kio, and Chaika already waiting for them where Chaika has angry looks on her face.

"Hahaha, why you look so angry, Chaika?" Kanda said that while laughing slightly as he and the girls with him walking towards the dining table before sitting on it.

"Hmph...you're so late, Kanda. My stomach is grumbling right now while waiting for you." Chaika speaks to him while feeling infuriated with him.

"Sorry about that, Chaika. I will make you my special parfait later on for you." Kanda feeling sorry to her which he tries to entice her with food.

"Hmph...Don't think that you will appease me with your special parfait." Chaika just crosses her arm while said that but everyone can see that she has slight drool on her lips.

"Chaika, you're drooling right now and we can see that you have been tamed by his food." Melwin said that while chuckles at Chaika's antic.

Chaika flustered after she heard that before she wiping her drool before angrily said to others, "No! Who is the one that drooling for his food? I'm just salivating due to the food in front of me.".

Everyone just laughed at her except for Maya. They finished the breakfast before going with Eris to the Mothership where Kio and Maya stay behind. Kio needs to visit his club while Maya will go back to visit Antonia and informing her about Kanda's request.

Kanda and the girls arrived at the Mothership where Kuune is waiting for them there.

"Hello, everyone. Welcome to the Catia's Mothership" Kuune said to the new visitors that have arrived in the ship while smiling at them.

"Thank you for having us here, Captain Kuune. We appreciate very much to be welcome here." Aoi said politely before slightly bows her body to Kuune.

"It's alright, Futaba-san. We always welcome you here with Kinjou-san. We already knew that you two are Ichijou-kun's girlfriends, so there is no need to thanks us here." Replied Kuune to Aoi.

After an exchange of pleasantries, Eris guides the newcomer to the training room. They spend 10 minutes walking to their destination where Eris also gives some overview about the ship to Manami and Aoi as this is their first time coming to an alien ship.

When they arrive at the room, they can see Durel already waiting for them.

"Hi, Dr.Durel, how long you have waiting for us here?" Kanda greets Durel when he saw her inside the room.

"Hi, Ichijou. How long I have been waiting? Well...not long, about 4 hours like that." Durel said that while shrugging her shoulder.

Everyone just stunned with her statement before Melwin asks her, "Why you have that long? What are you doing for the past 4 hours?".

Everyone inside there waiting for her answer and she starts talking to them, "I have tried to investigate how the talisman that had been used by those robot works. If I can learn how the mechanism behind this talisman works, I can allow our research department to replicate it or even trying to integrate with our technology. Next, I'm trying to check Ichijou's body from the samples that I have been got from him which I still struggle to make head and tails about his genetic."

After they have heard about her explanation, Manami and Aoi asks Durel about the effectiveness by training inside the gravity-controlled room where she patiently explaining to the two of them where Melwin, Chaika, and Kanda just drinking some tea inside there.

Manami trying to enter one of the rooms inside that room so she can truly feel how the room has works. When she coming inside the room, she can see the room is all white where there is only one large transparent window separates her with the others.

"You can start the demonstration, I'm ready." Manami's voice can be heard from the inside the room where she asks Eris to start the simulation. Eris becomes the one who operate the simulation control device for that room.

"Ok, Manami, I will set the room into double of the Earth's gravity." Eris said that after pushing some of the buttons at the machine.

Manami can feel that she a bit of sluggish in her movement where she try to lift a chair within the room and succeeded to lift the chair in the air albeit slowly.

"Next, four times of Earth's gravity." Eris said at the outside of the room.

Sudden increase in weight startled Manami as her body suddenly drops down to her knees before she slowly raise her body. She feel a large amount of her energy had been used to make her stand upright at four times of Earth's gravity.

"Manami...are you fine right now?" Aoi asks her as she can see that Manami struggles to stand upright.

Manami just nods her head at Aoi to indicate that she is fine before she requests for increasing the weight inside the room where Eris complied with her and setting the gravity at 5 times more than the Earth.

When the five times of the gravity hit her, she immediately being pushed towards the floor of the room.

"MANAMI!!!" Shouted Aoi when Manami suddenly laying flat at the floor.

"Aoi, relax yourself. She is fine." Kanda walks to Aoi before consoles her about Manami.

Manami starts to stand up when the force of the gravity suddenly disappear without trace. She walking out of the room slowly and had been greeted by Aoi where she had worried expression on her face.

Manami goes to the chair before sitting while exhaled heavily like she had trained vigorous training.

"How is your feeling when trying the room, Kinjou? Durel asks Manami while she slightly adjust her glasses.

"It's extremely an eye-opener for me when feeling those sudden gravity hitting my body. When the gravity become doubled, my body becomes sluggish. At 4 times of the gravity, I'm struggling to stand up and it took my all to succumb to the pressure. Later, I'm just laying flat at the floor when it reached 5 times of the gravity." Manami replied to her while talking about her experience in the room.

After Manami catches her breath, Aoi is the next one that will enter the room. Aoi has better result compare to Manami as she could withstand the gravity until it reaches 7 times than normal gravity.

After the two of them already experience how training inside that room, Durel starts to talk to them, "If you want to continue training in this room, I can plan some training that suitable to the two of you as I don't think that you can do the training with the same training intensity which had been done by Ichijou here."

"If I may ask you, what is the training that had been done by Kanda, Dr. Durel?" Asked Aoi to Durel curiously.

"Hmm..." Durel stops for a while before her fingers pressing some buttons on her device in her hand where a video can be seen at the monitor inside the room.

Durel talks to them, "As you can see at the video, that's the set of training that had been by him where he had a hard time during the first training before his body starts to adapt quickly to these training manuals."

In the video, Kanda can be seen lifting the variety set of dumbbells, fighting with special target created by the Catia, and even running at the treadmill. All of his training had been done inside that gravity-controlled room where the progress of his training can be seen inside the video.

After the video has finished, Durel talks again with Manami and Aoi, "So...are the two of you want to training? Don't worry, I will make you train later according to my instruction which will be tailored to your physical capability."

"Yes, we want to train so we could defense ourselves from the danger as Kanda already said that we might meet with stronger retaliation from Madam J. Therefore, we need to become stronger to stay by his side later during the future battles." Aoi said that while there is resolute expression on her face.

"Don't worry, Aoi, I will my best to defeat Madam J as soon as possible to avoid you from participating in the battle later." Kanda said that to them before had been interrupted by Manami.

"Shut Up. Don't too full of yourself, Kanda, as we also know that you almost died from the past battle with her. Therefore, just let us help you and don't be a hypocrite by saying that you can solve all of that by yourself." Manami said that angrily to him.

Shocked by her outburst, Kanda just chuckles at her before said to her, "Sorry for that, Manami. That's right, I could do anything by myself so I will depend on you later in the next battle.".

"Yes, you can depend on us later, Kanda." Replied Aoi where others also support her idea.

After the conversation, Manami and Aoi consult with Durel about their training manual while Kanda and the rest waiting for them to finish.

After that, they go back home after Manami and Aoi receive the manual for their training later which will supervised by Durel and being helped by Melwin when they arrived at the ship again. They meet with Kio and Maya when returning from the ship where Maya informed him that she already talking with Antonia about his request and she said that her master will try her best to find those materials. Kanda just thanked her for that which she replied that she just doing her job.
