Across the Galaxy

On a galaxy far far away from earth, there was a planet that existed that was much much different than earth. Yet it was subjected to a few similarities with this planet. For example both gave a place for existence of life, yet both harboured a life form that was very different from each other. Both spent millennia unaware of each other's existence, yet both searched for an existence of life that was beyond their own planet. Billions of years had passed by ever since the planets were created. The galaxies only grew further apart as the universe expanded with time, but it was never too late to take a journey 'Across the Galaxy'

Earth/MZ-14:

Most of us are familiar with the planet Earth (MZ-14), but things have changed with time. For a long time now extra terrestrial inhabitants have made their way to this beautiful planet. The ones who sought peace they were welcomed with open arms, however the ones that sought war were banished from earth forever. Due to a terrible history, unauthorised extraterrestrial visits were banned after 2178 and ever since then there was a separate division of law that dealt with alien life forms. By the time it was 2255, Earth became home to many lifeforms to all across the universe. And soon enough it was about to get a new mysterious visitor.

ZMR-47/Caisieus:

A planet which was also third in its own Star system was famous for exploring different worlds beyond its own. A long time ago they had once discovered a planet which harboured life and yet its atmosphere proved to be too toxic to their own physiology. The element Oxygen that powered the burning of so many things also burned their own skin in a matter of seconds. A Zimerian (which was a colloquial for its inhabitants) would succumb to death in a matter of a few hours. It was predicted that it might take 24 hours before they succumbed to death. At least that was Captain Kazaliur was taught in the fourth grade,who would go on to become one of the greatest explorers of the millennium by the time he reached the age of 300 Zimerian years. According to the legend, back when MZ-14 was first discovered, the person who got out of the ship started burning the moment he stepped on the land. They say he suffered injuries that crippled him and disfigured his face.

When Captain Kazaliur expressed his wish for the first time, to tour the unexplored realms of the milky way, his friend and fellow crewmates laughed at him. He promised himself that he would work hard and achieve a position worthy of making this decision and thus achieving something greater in his life. If required he would steer clear of MZ-14, and explore the other places with scarce oxygen.

It took him many years, but he never gave up. He carried on through and through with only one goal in his mind. One day he would become the "Space Master" the greatest explorer in the whole planet and would venture across the galaxy in the search of new mysteries.

When he left for his 28th mission, he was granted a miscellaneous section on the coordinates for their expedition. He was worried about his crewmates reaction when he suggested a course to the milky way. It would be exaggerating to say they did not mind at all, but they trusted their Captain and complied with him. He had the best record in the academy without any doubt, so if anyone could actually break through mysteries of the other side of the world, it was their Captain. Even the ones that had laughed at him back in his earlier days were looking forward to his glorious return. However...

They say life is unpredictable. It is such a vague and such a true statement. One moment you are on one path and before you realise you are stranded all by yourself somewhere so unfamiliar that the even only feeling of itself can suffocate you.

After finishing every other mission when it was time they ventured into the Milky Way. The anticipation and excitement of the unknown was of a great deal. For the head had expected that from him, he had granted him the access to the strongest and the most advanced ship that has ever been made in history. It's name was Syverzius

New things always have a chance factor that is yet to be discovered. Something or the other that we haven't realise it's there, but it has the capacity of making a huge impact on our course of life. Even a tiny thing, like an error in a wave function of the navigation system, can cause major changes and like the butterfly effect change the entire course of the life of the individual.

There it was, that one tiny thing that was waiting to change the entire course of Captain Kazaliur, and no one saw it coming.
