I woke up to pounding on the door, it was
still dark outside meaning it was late .
"Achlys get up or else you'll be reported
to the mistress" I knew that voice, Lia that two-faced bitch, wait if Lia was here then that means im back at the orphanage.

Ah yes it was the year 2029 on the month of
April, we have visitors who would come adopt us but i dont want to get adopted.

I watched Lia walk away then shut the door,
i didn't want to get adopted and i also had to get back a stolen item, that was the key to finding my family.
"Azar can you draw up a map of the orphanage and the best route to pass to go the mistress storage room without me encountering anybody"

An interface map came up in my view and the
best route was through the stairs at the creepy hallway, here goes nothing. The creepy hallway is called creepy basically because the mistress grandma hung herself there and it always feels like someone is watching you when you walk by it.
The mistress storage room was at the corner
after the creepy hall, she never locked the door because she believed no kids would go in there and truly the kids at the orphanage never went in there, the storage room had items the kids didnt want again or some items that came with us at birth but this information was never told to us i only learnt about it in
my past life.
The item i was looking for was a set of
jade jewelry a bangle, a pendant and pairs of earrings, it came with me when i was dumped at the orphanage. I pushed open the door as quietly as i could and began my search after what felt like eternity i found the box that held them, there were some other miscellaneous items in there and a baby bib and clothes
that im pretty sure was worn by baby me when i was dumped here and my files containing blood tests and stuff like that. As i was on my way out i spotted a Pheonix pendant on a shelf in a glass jar and the familiarity i felt was strange so i took it also along with my items and kept them in the system space and then i quietly left the storage room like i was not there to begin with.
